The Escapades
Episode 40's

“Quick get him down!” raung Draco as he looked at Heaven's arrogant attitude that was re-picking the fruit belonging to his clan like he didn't think it was there.

Draco turned around quickly to look at Riander with a very clear killing look in his eyes. Riander didn't say anything but he knew things would get complicated now.

Originally he had intended to conduct some negotiations to be able to obtain some of that spirit fruit, but it seemed that it would not be the case. It's already great if they can get out alive from the lizard's advice.

After all who would have thought that Heaven would act so recklessly in the territory of the Lizardman Clan.

The skilled warriors of the Lizardman clan immediately surrounded Heaven who was still sitting casually on top of the tree and there was a lot of anger in their eyes as they stared at him.

But Heaven was not worried at all, instead, he threw one fruit at one of them.

   “Catch! Try to taste it. That's very tasty.”

One of the Lizardman's men said nothing as he stared at the fruit in his hand. The fruit shines with an orange glow and has a very thin outer skin. He then gulped his saliva as he recalled the taste half a year ago.

They were only allowed to eat the fruit when the dry season arrived, along with the Lizardman Clan's re-awakening celebrations.

He was desperate to eat it but Draco immediately grabbed it from his hand and shouted loudly until their ears hurt.

   “What are you waiting for? Quickly drag the kid down!”

His face became so red with anger, he glanced at the fruit in his hand and immediately put it in his shirt pocket.

The clan warriors could do nothing, but there was a clear vexation visible on their faces as they looked at what the clan leader was doing.

Riander tilted her head and then nodded as she realized something. It seemed that the Lizardman clan had internal conflicts and did not come to an understanding, Riander understood that quickly.

   “Hey boy, quickly down!” One of them shouted from under the tree without crossing the moat surrounding the huge tree.

Heaven remained seated in his place, he looked at Paula and the others down there with a strange smile on his face.

He did not say anything, Heaven then casually threw some fruits at everyone, including the skilled warriors belonging to the Lizardman clan itself.

   “It's very tasty, so everyone should taste it,” he said when everyone had their share.

Draco was shocked, all the warriors of the lizard human clan were similarly shocked as they looked at each other and became dazed for a while. But the next second, everyone was startled by Draco's scream.

   “You! How dare you!” his screams blared inside the cave.

He walked hurriedly towards Heaven. How dare that little bastard steal the fruit! He will not forgive! He would kill her and chop her up for their dinner.

Everyone became wary, Paula who had just wanted to bite the fruit immediately put away that desire and prepared in her combat position.

Meanwhile, Heaven who heard the furious shouts of the clan leader immediately descended from his place and quickly hid behind the roots of the large tree and occasionally peeked out from behind his crack.

Draco became more and more furious as he got closer to Heaven's distance, he raised his staff to beat up the boy as they chased each other around the tree.

Heaven taunting!

He wants to say that Draco is someone old who should not move much and stay in bed to keep his life.

Draco can't take it anymore. He turned to his fighters with a dark face then shouted, “What do you see? Catch that wild boy!”

Joe immediately nodded but the other fighters looked hesitant as they glanced at each other.

   “What else? Do you want to defy?!” draco said again panting when they were not moving. He cursed in his heart as they did not move at all from his place.

He became increasingly impatient and started shouting again crazily while pointing at the clan's skilled warriors with his staff. One other hand held onto her fragile waist.

   “Joe! Where did you get these useless trash?”

Joe did not reply, he turned his gaze to look at the clan warriors and they also looked at him. They looked at each other for a while without speaking.

Joe understood, he knew what they wanted. He had also very often heard how the clan residents and even he himself complained for one thing.

   “Heh, what's wrong? Quickly catch the boy or you will suffer the consequences!” Draco's roar once again resounded within the cave.

Everyone looked at him, then the fighters moved towards where he was. Draco smiled contemptuously as he saw them move due to his threat, there were many insults on his face that were not covered at all as he stared at them.

Paula and the others also wanted to make a move when they saw the warriors of the lizard human clan start taking steps towards the tree where Heaven and the clan leader were, but Riander immediately stretched his hands to hinder them.

He narrowed his eyes as he said,

“They came not for Heaven.”

Paula who heard him blink her eyes twice, she wanted to ask but when she heard an angry shout from the direction of the tree she immediately understood.

Paula is a smart girl, though, he immediately understood what was really going on when he saw the extremely dark faces of the Lizardman clan warriors as they captured their leader and lifted him up until his feet no longer stepped on the ground.

   “Hey, what are you doing? Do you want to die?” draco shouted as he tried to rebel from their clutches.

   “Joe! Stop 'em! Where do they want to take me?

But Joe shrugged his shoulders resignedly then said in an innocent tone, “I don't have such a great ability to fight all our skilled fighters.”

Draco was frustrated as he kept on revolting and wanted to break free from them but their grip on both his arms grew stronger. It was so strong that it felt like it could break his old bones.

   “Stupid basis! Do you want to make me die? Let go of me!”

He kept shouting until it made all the clan residents gather in front of the cave door.
