The Escapades

The Escapades
Episode 33

“After points are collected. Will it go straight back or--?”

“No, no.” Paula interrupted immediately.

“It is very difficult to get out of the academy, I want to enjoy a few more days and explore this island,” Paula continued.

While the others agreed.

When they return then it will be the end of their leisurely life, so they want to make the most of the time to indulge themselves.

Riander understood and immediately agreed. He also wanted to try exploring and hunting down some monster blood to bring home.

The mountains belonging to the academy did not have many monsters above level three, while he needed hands-on combat experience and not just limited to the materials inside the head.

Meanwhile, in the ship

The elders were sitting leisurely while enjoying tea and eating cakes as they watched the participants from the information crystal mirror.

Trioner sighed in boredom as she leaned her body on the chair. The corner of the Trioner's eyes twitched as he watched the team that Riander led.

“Shinrain, why don't you go down and collect medicinal ingredients as well?” ask one of the elders while gently stroking his grizzled beard.

“No.” She shook her head.

He sat quietly in his chair but his eyes continued to pay attention to each side displayed by the crystal in front of them.

“Your sister, I heard it has gone up the level again huh?” Suya Bumi, the Vice President of Medicine asked after taking a sip of his drink.

Shinrain turned his head and asked, “Who?”

He laughed and asked again.

“What do you have how many sisters?” Suya played her long hair black and shiny like slippery snake scales.

“Two.”

Everyone in the room began to feel the temperature of the room that began to drop dramatically as the two women spoke.

No one dared to interrupt. They quietly swallowed the salivae and stiffened in their respective places without daring to move in the slightest.

Cold battles between women are actually much more sinister than being surrounded by enemies in the battle meda! It was more terrifying than the actual fight.

“I forgot that you have one other little brother,” said Suya sounds guilty but it is not genuine at all.

Shinrain understood where this conversation was going but he remained expressionless and very calm. Serving the snake woman would only make her run out of energy in vain.

“Tim ten led Riander seems to be coming out first,” said one of the Elders when looking at the points score figures obtained by each team member.

“I don't think so.” The Trioner denied without opening her eyes.

Boni Yura shook her head. “The group of ten is just children who rely on luck. It was already good enough if they could accumulate enough points to pass the exam.”

“Really! It contains only those suck.” He glanced at Shinrain as he said that.

Suya shook her head slowly as if she was desperate and team ten had no hope at all even though they could pass the test.

“How do you purge, Shinrain?”

Shinrain Chigo glanced at the Trioners for a bit then calmly replied, “I'm not sure they'll be out that fast.”

He lifted his cup and took a sip for a while to wet his throat.

“Three of them were the top three in the previous exam and the other two had a lot of knowledge. They are a very suitable combination,” he explained.

The Trioner smiled inwardly as he recalled the incident on the first exam day some time ago. He lazily moved in search of the most comfortable position and began to fall asleep in his chair.

At the same time

Diego asks his group to join Oberyn's team to make it easier for them to meet the target points and take care of each other. But actually, he had another purpose.

The humiliation Oberyn had done to her that day was still fresh in her head. He was waiting for the right time to reply.

“Hey I told you to look for something of value, why did you pick up those wildflowers!”

The male junior became confused to explain.

“But, senior ... This flower belongs to a unique species,” he said hesitantly.

Diego held back his laughter and bit his lips as he looked at how Oberyn rounded his eyes in shock. He was still like the usual Oberyn, stupid and careless.

“You're serious?” He approached the young man and stared fixedly at the purple flower in his hand.

“Iya.” The junior nodded confidently then continued,

“This flower is often called corpse flower because it usually grows from the skeleton of a corpse that has been destroyed.” He pointed to some white powder present in the roots of the flower that came from calcification of the skeleton.

Everyone shuddered at the sight of the ground even Oberyn jumped up a little as her eyes looked at the rest of the human skull that was partially buried in the ground.

Oberyn was not good at leadership so Diego took the opportunity to take over Oberyn's duties with pleasure. If this matter circulated then he would gain even more prestige.

All presonil teams work very well until late at night. They couldn't even sleep well because they wanted to clear the examination immediately, moreover they wanted to get out of the place immediately!

Next morning on Skull Island.

All teams move back in order to reach the target point even there are many who do not sleep to complete the exam.

The Oberyn and Diego team also moved, early in the morning when the sun had not yet risen they had begun to walk through the cold and foggy forest due to the morning dew.

In contrast to the Oberyn team, the Riander team left rather midday due to Heaven sleeping until noon.

“Hey, all night I've been looking after you! Five minutes left.” She regained her composure to continue sleeping but Paula immediately pulled her hand until she stood up.

“Keeping what, Senior who stayed up all night to take care of us, not you!” Paula scolded him as she dragged Heaven to continue their exam mission.

While the others followed them while laughing.

After an hour of travel they finally arrived at the first location that had been marked by the Riander.

It was a lake, the clear water reflected the blue sky that morning. It was like a giant mirror with a calm lake surface.

It was so calm that Riander felt uneasy in his heart. While in the Demon Land he also felt the same feeling but this time he would not be careless anymore.

His eyes became increasingly sharp and his face instantly became extremely solemn as his gaze swept across the entire area warily.

Unlike the tense-looking Riander, the other five members became extremely excited when they saw how beautiful the place was.

Many flowers bloom along the banks of the lake with water so cool to the touch.

Heaven looked around and his eyes were fixed on the object in the middle of the lake. The hero stood next to him and whispered something.

After hearing what he said, Heaven automatically rounded his eyes in disbelief. But when he saw how the Hero nodded, Heaven was immediately convinced that it was truly a precious treasure!

He walked closer to the other three who were already on the edge of the lake with Riander. But just a few steps, the sound of footstroke from behind sounded and distracted all of them.
