Chapter 23

Kana woke up this morning feeling stuck because last night she felt she had made a mistake with Arif. Kana is sure that Arif must be angry with her, even though Arif has helped her a lot and is even ready to marry her when it is not in the plan. Arif has sacrificed a lot for him, but Kana even foolishly obeyed Rudi's willingness to test Arif at the inn.

He is a gentle man, polite, kind and looks very affectionate with you. Hopefully after this no one will hurt you anymore" said Mother while looking gently at her daughter.

Kana immediately approached her mother and hugged her from behind. His heart is so tight. Arif is very accepted by his family, while their relationship is only limited to theatrics. And Kana did not dare to wish more on Arif. He is self-conscious, aware of his background and Arif's background is completely different. Even Kana's dream of becoming Cinderella did not dare, what else asked Arif to really love her.

"Come, baby." Arif clasped Kana's hand and took her away.

The overflowing frustration and anger were instantly gone, just gone when Arif very coolly helped Kana from Danu, what else when Arif blatantly defended her as what was he just saying? My woman? My future wife?
