Part 8: Silent Silence Attention

Claudia entered the room next to Egnor's main workspace. He sat there covering his face and crying. He wept not only the anger of Egnor, but also he remembered his aunt. He remembers his past where he worked on anything to make ends meet and also paid off his uncle's debts.

As of now, his uncle has not been able to change. His uncle always played gambling and hurt his aunt. Not to mention the loan sharks who always play tricks on him. Claudia continued to cry as she pleased and she finally decided to contact her aunt. For about a week he worked with Egnor but never contacted his aunt because he just got the weekly transportation money from Grace yesterday. He just bought a post-paid card for his phone.

"Hello!"

The voice of the man across there was very heavy and like he was feeling a sense of annoyance.

"Uncle! It's Clau." Claudia who knew the voice of her uncle immediately greeted her uncle with a little emphasis.

"Well! You finally called too, huh?! Where did your aunt tell you to go huh?!" Jack asked the uncle who sounded furious and curious.

~Where? Didn't aunt say it? Is aunt trying to protect me again? But, where's aunt?~ thought Claudia in heart.

"I went to work Uncle, eng eng where's aunt?" Claudia answered sternly and fearfully.

"You're gone and tomorrow your aunt is sick! Who here will feed us huh?! You're leaving us! Where are you really, huh?!" Jack asked again very angry.

Claudia jerks. Aunt's sick. Though the aunt who drove him to the front of the law firm Egnor in Oriental there. Is my aunt hiding something? He thought again in his heart.

"Anyways I'll give you uncle's money! Where's aunt sakarang? Is she okay?!" Claudia did not give up.

"So soon you're sending me money to pay for your aunt's care! He's in treatment and now I want to go there! You guys always bother me! Quickly send the money or your aunt and I'll starve to death!" Shouted his uncle and closed the call.

"Eng, uncle - hello - uncle!!" Claudia looks at her phone and tries to talk again, but at once:

"Whose uncle? Who did you call?" Egnor was already standing at the door of his study.

Claudia gasps. He turned off his phone and kept it in his little bag.

"No. Not who who who. What's up, sir?" Claudia replied stammered and tried to wipe away her tears with her hands.

Egnor then took a tysu on top of the dispenser in the room. He then approached Claudia and gave her the tysu.

"Use this to wipe away your tears." Said Egnor extending his hand giving tysu.

Claudia looked at Egnor before she grabbed her fist with a slight tremble.

"What's wrong? You're upset about all the mistakes you've made?!" Egnor's question lies not to realize that he also contributed to Claudia's grief.

Claudia shook her head to answer Egnor's question and wiped away her tears.

"Since yesterday I have done nothing wrong! Tax transaction reports as well. I've compared it to what Mr. Frank did. Everything's just like mine even mine's more detailed. But, indeed the problem of the victim and perpetrator data, I was mistaken, I'm sorry Brother Egnor." Claudia put on an innocent face and paled her to gain Egnor's sympathy. He also called Egnor sis.

"Forget over! Now, set my schedule and my father and the field people to survey the location of the land that we already have. I want to build it soon. Faster is better!" Egnor said and turned back to his room.

"Curtain! She was angry, she said she didn't want to see my face, but after a few minutes she came to give me a tysu and still said I was sad because of my mistake, weird! Why did you turn out like this, brother Egnor?!" Decak Claudia after making sure Egnor turns and heads to her room.

Claudia took a breath. He then immediately did as Egnor commanded. He should get the money right away. In two weeks he just got a salary. For a while he would try not to anger his master or perhaps he would be sent home as soon as possible.

Claudia opened the one-month schedule data she had created for Mr. Egnor. He was looking for an empty day considering his master was a famous lawyer. It could be almost two days once he faces a case. It could be almost two days once he meets his client for further talks about his client case.

After seeing Egnor's free time on Saturday, Claudia approached Grace to question John, Egnor's father and question the contact of the field. When Claudia entered Egnor's room again, she peeked first and made sure Egnor wasn't around. Claudia comes in and finds Grace talking on her cable phone.

"Who's on overtime duty today?- Nothing?- How can there be none?- -- they've been overtime continuously? - Mr. Egnor is not mentolelir - search immediately - - the case must be finished as soon as possible - yes, let me know!!" Grace hung up rough on the phone. He squinted his temple a little frustrating. He thought today he would not get his master's scorn. Hearing his master berate Claudia he was dizzy. Especially if he got it himself. Grace took a breath and finally turned her head towards Claudia who was approaching her.

"What's the matter Grace? Why are you so grim like this?" Claudia asked in front of Grace's desk.

"Later tonight there will be a summary of the divorce case of the businessman's friend from Mr. Egnor. The case is almost over just need a final report. Notulen who should have worked overtime suddenly got sick. I'm dizzy! I still have to work on the case report now and more. I can't imagine that your new master heard that his friend's case report was backtracked. Understandably, the famous lawyer, his emotions are too overflowing. Actually this is a small matter because of his impatience he will definitely get angry. It must be Clau!" Grace explained it like she was pouring out her heart.

"You've been a very patient Grace. Such a reliable and famous lawyer, his emotions like to overflow. Otherwise how our Master always wins cases, and you won't get paid." Said Claudia responding casually while Grace glanced at him lazily.

"All right?" Claudia asked again a little teasingly.

"Yes right! Because of my salary here, yes you're right! So, what do you want?" Said Grace combining her hands looking at Claudia.

"Well, what's the overtime minutes paid for?" Claudia asked off her goal.

"Yup, otherwise, no one would want to overtime. You've been working, haven't you?" Answer Grace.

"I'm the one who replaced, I happen to have no activity in the apartment tonight. How's it?" Claudia volunteered.

"Clearly Clau? You okay to come home late?" Grace's face was a little relieved.

"What's wrong with coming home late, last night your master got me home at 9 p.m." Claudia said it didn't matter.

"Alright it's set, piufht, eventually my problems diminish. Don't forget it's 7pm at the ruanh auditorium!"

"Well Grace I'll be there. Oiya, I need Mr. John's schedule and field contact." Claudia said again remembering her purpose.

"Sir, tonight your friend's divorce case will be completed soon. If you wish, you can join the meeting in an hour. Excuse me, sir." Grace resigns.

"Yes, I'm trying, everything is there, right? I heard from Frank, the minutes suddenly hurt." Answer Egnor.

"Yes sir, but Claudia is willing to replace him." Grace hurried home.

"Claudia?!"

"Yes sir, he's ready. What's the matter, sir?!"

"It's okay. Then, he's still working on the side?" Ask Egnor again.

"Yes, Mr. fixed the wrong financial transaction report, he said he had no job and you haven't told him anymore."

"alright then. You go home Grace!" Egnor slashed his hand toward Grace.

"Okay, excuse me."

Egnor felt sorry for Claudia. But, if this is not the case, Claudia will often be late and not focus on working. Finally, an unusual Egnor follows a night meeting with his men and tells Frank that he can replace his confidant. Frank is the vice president of Egnor. Frank was Egnor's junior when he was in his master's school. Frank was surprised to hear the words of his leader. However, Frank has yet to realize that Egnor actually wants to see Claudia for longer. After he punished Claudia earlier, he got an invitation to a meeting of reliable lawyers in Honolulu.

The time has already shown at 7pm. Claudia doesn't want to be late anymore. He was already looking in front of the notebook and was ready to record every detail of the meeting.

"The meeting this time must be completely finished, because Mr. Egnor is leading the meeting." Said an officer.

Instantly Claudia's heart trembled to hear that the leader was attending the meeting. Grace didn't say anything. As he recalled, Egnor really did not like if there were meetings outside working hours. Claudia patted his forehead. Hopefully Egnor doesn't milk him anymore for looking for a side job. It's all for the sake of her aunt Claudia having to find an overtime job that results in.

When Egnor came with Frank, all the officers who had come to him stood up and welcomed the two important men by bowing their bodies. Egnor's eyes search for Claudia's whereabouts. Claudia also looked at him and bowed her head. Egnor immediately turned his eyes away and began a meeting. During the meeting Frank was the one who started. Egnor only noticed and occasionally gave a statement, but the rest he continued to pay attention to Claudia who was so beautiful and charismatic while being serious about doing work.

When there was a break several times, Claudia got Egnor looking at her and then the woman teased him with a blink of one eye that made Egnor misbehave and sometimes coughed. There was a sense of pleasure in Claudia because even though today Egnor punished her but there was a side of tenderness that emanated from the man's heart.

Until the meeting was finally over at about nine p.m. Egnor stepped first with Frank about to get out of the auditorium but when he reached the door, Egnor stopped.

"Claudia, are you Claudia Mr Egnor's new assistant?" Ask an officer to say hello.

Claudia just nodded and smiled while fixing her laptop.

"Include me Marco from Mr. Frank's team. Eng, it's late, you want to come home with me?" Take Marco and everything is heard by Egnor.

"Tell Claudia to go home by herself or I'll fire her! Whisper at him Frank!" Order Egnor and walk towards the basement.

Actually, there are many questions in Frank's mind about his master who is very sensitive when it comes to Claudia. However, Frank always put it aside and continued to work. He then approached Claudia and Marco.

"Ehem!" Frank nodded towards Marco. Marco then was like a clumsy. He bows himself and leaves Frank and Claudia.

"Mr Frank, thank you. Looks like that guy named Marco is perverted! He always winks at me, I don't like it!" Said Claudia sourly.

"Frank. Call me Frank Claudia. I'm the same as Grace."

"Yes. You're her boyfriend." Claudia chuckles.

"alright. You heart heart. You should go home soon. The night is getting late. Thank you for replacing today's minutes." Said Frank undir himself. Claudia also rushed down the building and went home.

When he turned out of the building and walked towards his small apartment not far from the office, a black sedan car stopped beside him. The driver opened the glass, Claudia was amazed who this driver was.

"Lake in!" The driver's orders. Claudia felt very touched and amazed to see the driver who really melted her heart. Which makes him want to quickly enter and hug the driver
