Part 32: Romantic Plans

Claudia entered her office. She still does not believe that she is now officially Lady Jovanca. While Grace was already smiling and as a little more approached, Grace blew a small trumpet in front of Claudia's face.

"Welcome Mrs Claudia Jovanca." Greet Grace and then pat her hands. Claudia is not flinching. He still couldn't believe it and kept his head down. He then headed to his desk.

"Claudia!!! Uh I mean Mrs Claudia." Call Grace again.

"Silence Grace!! Just call Claudia as usual." Claudia Protest.

"No, I'm just here. I still didn't expect Grace! This morning Egnor asked me to get married. It looks so easy, Grace. I'm afraid it's just a dream!" Said Claudia still paying attention to her marriage book with Egnor.

"alright then. Work, let me think again. I slept for a while, didn't I? I'm the boss!" Claudia chuckled for a moment.

"Yes Claudia's boss! Put on your husband's little bedroom, it's not nice to have Clau's client!" Grace said to remind.

"With Mr Egnor?

"Your mouth Grace! No, I want to sleep alone. It's true, I'm kind of sleepy after all my fear that this is just a dream." Claudia said she immediately entered a small room containing a single bed, ac and a small nightstand beside the bed.

Later that night Claudia called Egnor. Egnor was apparently having dinner with Honolulu and Oriental officials. However, Egnor kept lifting him up. Claudia just said she missed him. Egnor smiled, but what a power, he must solve the case tomorrow.

"If there's no problem, tomorrow night I'm back Clau." Egnor said as he was about to end their call.

"If I'm naughty, I don't want to wait for you!" Egnor kept turning back his words.

"alright. Good night my only!" Claudia.

"Get yourself my one and only, good night." Egnor said as well.

They're disconnecting the call. Egnor and Claudia were both smiling. Egnor missed him a lot. If it wasn't for this kind of government, he wouldn't have intervened. Egnor always takes care of big cases such as the government or company officials who are closely related to him. Whether it was an individual matter, or an important person, Egnor told Frank or his other employees.

The next day Claudia contacted Egnor again, but Egnor was meeting the final outcome of the appeal he had completed earlier. He couldn't pick up his wife's call and when Egnor was about to call again, Claudia seemed to be asleep. Egnor felt a little regretful but understood him.

Egnor still presses his cell phone to leave a message for Claudia, before Frank arrives with Joe.

"Sir, this is your pink diamond. I packed it well." Said Joe handing over a box of white rings with the ring that Egnor got from the auction of the diamond limited ring at that time.

"You keep Joe. Take good care of it. Tomorrow you give it to me in front of Claudia on a plate. I'll take her to dinner. Frank, you've booked the table, haven't you?" Egnor again handed the ring to Joe and asked Frank again.

"Already sir, tomorrow at 7 p.m. We can still attend Mr. Gonzaga's show!" Frank reminded.

"What's it for, sir?"

"For her to accompany my dinner with Claudia at the restaurant with her piano."

"Ah you really want to make a romantic dinner, sir?" Joe asked a little.

At exactly 7 p.m., Egnor was waiting for Claudia. Claudia's been told she's been hit by traffic jam. From afar Egnor had seen it and sighed that Claudia had finally come too. Claudia was also happy to have seen Egnor. She misses. She immediately approached her husband.

"Claudia!" A middle-aged man called out to him. Claudia reflexes and her uncle calls her.

He was already very upset and it seemed that the writing he had prepared would be too late. Claudia was about to chase him but Jack held her back.
