The girl runs increasingly agile while in a larger alley, she is seen easily passing by passers-by and objects that block her. Edgar who was still chasing him seemed to have difficulty shortening the distance.

‘He's like drifting!’

That's what Edgar thought with a serious face and a pouting expression because he still felt annoyed especially when he saw the girl jumping over the wall so easily, while Edgar seemed to have difficulty climbing the wall that blocked him.

Edgar looked even more upset when the girl showed him the bag of money that Edgar had, then the girl pointed towards the alley that they had been through, and she left before him without responding to anything. Edgar did not understand what he meant but it made Edgar curious to look back.

‘Befit ... so that's what made him run!’

He saw a horde of troops with angry faces running towards him Edgar felt that they had a problem with the girl as well. Naturally he ran because they were chased by these people let alone they all carried their own weapons even though they were blunt weapons.

“Damn it! The girl escaped again!”

Edgar heard one of them while nearby, they seemed annoyed to see the girl disappear again from before them.

“Do you guys know the Girl?”

He looked so violent as he grabbed the batter the man was holding and hit the Man repeatedly that he fell to the ground leaving the Man's head wounded to the blood that even his blood was attached to the bat that's.

“I didn't expect this city to be so rotten with people like you!”

The men before seemed silent looking terrified as Edgar hit the man making him look so violent in their eyes. But seeing Edgar hit the man unconscious made them think he was dead and was intent on avenging.

He floated the hitter with all his might with both hands hitting two people at once right on their chests which made the two people bounce smashing into the people nearby, even making the hitter he was using smash.

Edgar threw out the useless bat and came back crashing with his bare hands this time, punch after punch Edgar lay down on the faces of those who approached him, and then hit back, his powerful punch felt like a hammer hit them and toppled some.

But Edgar certainly lost the oath when they surrounded him, they all did not stay silent to see the opportunity Edgar did not hold any weapons make them beat him until Edgar was in a defensive position.

He had yet to fall down, but he looked so battered all over his body for enduring their blows.

“Did you guys catch the girl? … Why did you gang up on this young man?”

Two hours had passed, Edgar woke up from his sleep with the same position still slumped on the ground, he slowly tried to sit and lean against the nearby wall, which was still the same position, his current mind was quite calm even though he had to endure the pain of having his body battered.

Edgar felt there was something wrong in him for acting like he wasn't but it wasn't the right time for him to think about it at the moment.

He looked up and saw that his sword was still stuck in the high enough wall, lucky enough that the bandit did not see his sword there. He got up from his seat and tried to figure out a way to grab his sword first before he continued on his way towards the south gate.
