The Im Not Main Character

The Im Not Main Character
Serfage

Slavery is common in any fantasy world. Novels with fantasy action themes would be complete without slavery.

The Knight Kingdom had no regulations regarding the prohibition against slavery. The ease of slavery is legal considering the tax revenue is quite large.

The Religious Territory is one that does not implement slavery because it has other income. His income was more than enough to not rely on slavery.

For Arcturus himself slavery was something that should not exist. That was because basically slaves were no longer considered as humans.

In the original story, Arcturus Religia would be a slave that was not considered human.

“How can .... humans be this cruel?” Alda swerved and clenched his fists.

Arcturus simply closed his eyes and relaxed as before. Get angry now nothing has changed.

“Humanize humans ... it is not an easy step when the embedded root is already so deep.”

Looking at the city that had many slaves, Arcturus observed this pitifully.

Children, men, and women are not free from slavery. Be it humans, half even monsters.

They were so dirty and only wore shabby cloths to cover their bodies. A body that is lacking in nutrients and flattening becomes the main point of adding a sad impression.

“Can't you do something about it?” alda asked with concern also angry.

Alda's anger gave Arcturus goosebumps for fear that this woman would destroy something.

“Unfortunately being a slave is the best for them at the moment.”

The cruel things of Arcturus made Alda dumbfounded. Immediately he pulled Arcturus' collar and gave a cold look.

“I don't think you approve of slavery. They are human, they should be treated like human beings.”

Arcturus coughed slightly as his collar was pulled. This body is still weak even though he has trained it, plus the interesting thing is Alda Carinea.

“Of course not. Slavery is terrible and should have been opposed.”

“Then why? You shouldn't agree that they deserve to be slaves!”

Alda began to raise his voice, he had nowhere to vent his frustration so Arcturus needed to be a victim.

As expected of the protagonists, surely they could not tolerate this kind of thing.

“Then let me ask you. If someone sets them free, what happens next? They are people who may not have a home or family.”

Alda became silent and started thinking about the answer. He may have found Arcturus's purpose but his attempts to give a disclaimer have not faded.

”They were eventually displaced. Although I tried to contain it with the identity of the noble in the end how long will it last?”

The slaves had no trust in anyone other than their neighbors. His hatred was of course centered on the kingdom and nobles.

When freed from slavery they would roam around looking for a place to live, but what? Eventually they would be re-arrested to become slaves.

Arcturus agreed that slavery should be condemned by the world, but it was difficult to give a voice to let them all go.

“Do you know how many great people think like you? But in the end no one acted.” Arcturus held Alda's shoulder to tell him to relax and release his collar.

Arcturus tidied his collar, smiling lightly as he looked at Alda who looked like a child aware of his first sin.

“They know that there is no really right solution for slavery. In addition there will be a lot of opposition if they speak out to condemn slavery.”

There was no point in doing such a noble thing, even Alvalous who was vehemently opposed to slavery could only silently close his eyes.

There is no benefit, however, against it based solely on humanity. There are many advantages gained through slavery, one of which is cheap labor.

Arcturus smiled slightly. If only Alda knew that there would be an extraordinary future.

‘Now you need to understand that the world is full of darkness. But do you know? The light will shine on the darkness. You are the light that will one day blot out that darkness.”

Arcturus was directed to a luxurious inn that had been provided by the host of the Supper of the Moon.

“Hey, trash,” Evelyn came with a face as usual. ”I'll say hello to the host while you simply become useless here.”

“Yes, I am so exhausted that I need to rest for the upcoming banquet. Thank you for taking care of your sister, sister Evelyn.” Arcturus smiled happily.

Her bright smile actually made Evelyn even more upset for what before she finally left.

Arcturus just lay in his bed while Mary escorted Alda to loot food in all the shops for his great appetite.

“Pocket money given Dad will only run out to eat Alda.” Arcturus breathed in tiredness.

Arcturus' pocket money was enough to buy a house and live a modest life for a few months, but the money disappeared quickly into Alda's stomach.

“It seems that I also need to know some nobles to be invited to do business. I also need big funds in the near future later.”

Imagining the situation in the novel and his previous life of the Supper of the Moon made Arcturus feel tired.

There will be an incident later. It was important for Arcturus to prevent anything bad from happening or things would be just as bad as the previous round.

“Five more days of the Supper of the Month are held. I don't have time to rest.”

As Arcturus began to close his eyes and think what he was going to do at this moment, a long inaudible voice came back.

• another part of me is here.

A heavy and weak Assassin's voice said inside his head. Arcturus quickly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling of the inn.

Another part of The Envy of Assassins, if Arcturus remembers correctly there are two separate parts of him.

“What is your sword? Well, it's understandable because it's a sword-producing place anyway. Silverstone is not just a name.”

Silverstone is a term that says this place to be the best producer of sharp weapons done Knight. This region is a mineral treasure and a paradise of weapons.

As Arcturus thought about it the Assassin spoke again.

• maybe you won't get a chance to find a sword.

His words shook Arcturus.

• my clothes should be around this place.

It was not a sword, but a robe. Arcturus wondered how the Assassin had found his item that might have been badly damaged.

“Wait, what do you mean I won't be able to find your sword?” Arcturus was more concerned about the sword than the robe itself.

• You'll never match a sword destined to wipe out life.

A sword capable of destroying any life. Arcturus had heard of it but he did not expect it to be true. Well, Arcturus wasn't planning on doing a useless murder anyway.

“Well, I think your robe is more useful to me. Do you know the exact location?”
