The Im Not Main Character
A Very Attractive Woman

Arcturus returned to his residence after his legs could be reused. That's a little annoying because Arcturus almost forgot how to walk. He was too comfortable relaxing in a wheelchair.

Alda and Mary were with him. Shin should have come but he still had a lot to do as the ruler of the territory.

Even so Shin had promised to come to persuade his parents to get Arcturus permission to attend the Supper of the Moon.

“I will need preparation first, you just go home first.”

That's what Shin said. Arcturus certainly accepted it wholeheartedly because he did not want to be dragged into the affairs of the region. It was enough for him to suspect Shin had contributed withstanding the damage.

Even Alda admired him because Shin was a sharp person. The fact that Zegion the Lich appeared and Arcturus had a small contribution in his fight remains a secret from Shin.

“We have arrived. This is my home, the residence of Religia.”

Alda stared out the window with bright eyes. He looked like a child who had first seen a foreign world.

To him the high fortress of the Religian region was quite amazing, it was also probably the first time Alda had seen a city as beautiful as this.

East Port is a beautiful place but Alda came at an inappropriate time. He came when the monsters attacked so there was no chance of admiring his beauty.

“So this is the city. Father right, man is able to make extraordinary things.”

The building is built in a regular manner, a beautiful hall with a fountain statue in the middle as well as a road that is paved with rectangular rocks.

Along the way clean, although there are trees that drop leaves but residents voluntarily take care to clean the scattered leaves.

Alda began to remember the words of his father, the dragon.

"Behind the many shortcomings that man has remains extraordinary. They can create beautiful things. Civilization, culture, even to beautiful settlements. Such creativity is what distinguishes humans from dragons though."

Even dragons were far below humans in that regard. Dragons do not care at all about culture, civilization or even settlements.

“Hey, What arc in this place there is amazingly delicious food?!” alda asked with a childlike spirit.

Arcturus smiled slightly at the contradictory cheerfulness with her graceful mature beautiful face.

“Of course there are. You can eat whatever you want. But before that I want you to use this.”

Arcturus took out a white mask with a carving of pink flowers on his left side, a place where Alda did not open his eyes.

Before traveling back to the Religious residence, Arcturus had already asked Mary to get such a mask. The mask is designed to cover half of Alda's face and leave his mouth unclad.

Arcturus knew full well it would be troublesome if Alda's face was known to everyone. No doubt it would cause a massive war to obtain it!

“Why should I use it?” Alda furrowed his brows unhappily. “I was more than capable of throwing anchovies that fell in love with me.”

“I'm not worried about him at all. Quite the contrary, I was worried about the poor little fish you might throw.”

Arcturus could not be crazy about Alda because he knows the self-conscious. In addition, Arcturus knew very well the consequences of being targeted at Alda. But not with fools who might do silly things.

Even if people think Alda is the lustful slave of the bastard Arcturus, it does not mean they will just give up.

“Your evil face is not like your heart.” Alda looks reluctant but he complies and wears his mask.

“Thank you for the compliment.”

“I don't praise.”

“Serah.”

They finally arrived at the Religious residence. Arcturus could see his father and little sister, Spica standing at the door of the mansion to welcome his return.

Mary, who was the coachman, immediately saluted as she descended and opened the door for Arcturus.

“I'm home, Dad,” said Arcturus with a gentle smile.

“Kak Arc! Welcome!” Spica immediately ran and jumped into Arcturus' arms.

Arcturus smiled and gently stroked his little sister's head, “I'm home, Spica.”

Alda just nodded his head and gave a small greeting, “Halo.”

Alvalous immediately furrowed his brows, “Who is this woman, Arcturus?”

Not only because of his disrespectful attitude but Alvalous could feel a strange vibe around Alda. Strange vibrations that made his chest flutter, especially with the same black hair as Arcturus.

“Ah, this is my friend, Alda Carinea. He was the one who saved me from the crisis in the East Port. Sorry for his attitude, he does not understand manners nor know how to behave.”

Alvalous immediately removed the wrinkles on his face and began to smile gently.

“So so. I thank you for saving my son. My name is Alvalous Religia, the owner of this territory. Thank you for saving Arcturus, please rest and consider it your own home.”

Alda looked at Alvalous with a probing gaze. He may realize something but not choose to say anything.

“... Yes, thanks for the convenience.”

“Then Mary please take Alda. Make him take a shower and change his clothes. Ah, don't forget to take that thing straight to my room.”

“Understand, Young Master. Then I'll let you withdraw.” Mary immediately brought a pedati to put it in the barn and Alda quickly followed her.

He looked at Alvalous for a moment before leaving.

After some time Alda left, Alvalous finally spoke up.

“You found an interesting woman, Arcturus.”

Arcturus tried to evade, “What does my father mean I will play around with him? Even the contents of my head aren't all about women, Father.”

“It is true that she may be a girl with an attractive look despite covering her face. But what you mean is not about that.”

Alvalous took out two necklaces. One with a silver strap and a small pendant that had a bright light blue gem in the middle. While the other necklace is a rusty ring with a black strap.

“It seems he found out that dad has something interesting. That's enough to show he has the ability.”

Arcturus looked at the two necklaces Alvalous had put out. Of course Arcturus knew very well the identity of the two necklaces.

Necklaces with rust rings are something that has been passed down for generations in the Religious family since the beginning of the establishment of this household. Then another necklace that is pendant—

“Isn't that the Mother's gift necklace you used to tell me about, Dad?” ask Arcturus. “What's wrong with that necklace?”

Arcturus knew about the necklace and he also knew very well not to have to ask.

“It's not time for you to know, my son. When the time comes I will tell you everything.” Alvalous just smiled and started walking towards his residence.

Arcturus never got the answer since his previous life. Well, he only asked twice and got no answer. Even in the novel it has not been explained about it. Arcturus had only read novels when the world began to fall and reveal a few things.

One of them was about how the Religious household became the most ancient noble on the continent.

“Then is the time for me to know, Dad? Even I also want to know about my birth mother.”

Alvalous stopped walking as his hand opened the door. It was a short but meaningful silence.

“What is clear now is not the time. And, I hope to bring this secret to death. Although it hurts you to hear it—”

Alvalous walked in without ever turning around so that Arcturus did not know what kind of face his father made.

“—I hope the day when I tell it to you will never come.”

Alvalous left Arcturus with a puzzling sentence.

Silently Arcturus curses and furrows his brows.

‘Sial, I am not the main protagonist but why have so many mysteries related to me?!’

In the original story, Arcturus Religia was just a pitiful boy who had to become the slave of the main protagonist due to his immaturity. Why does this person who is not treated like a human have such confusing things?

“I need a break.”
