The Devil Charming's

The Devil Charming's
Part 17's

Edward ran over to Lizbeth, who was sitting on the floor, then held his wife tightly, an unexpected quick shot that sounded deafening a few seconds ago made Edward hold his breath with a heartbeat beating faster. Who would have thought if the woman they were looking for came suddenly to appear with his men and immediately pulled the trigger towards Lizbeth. No matter how great the person would definitely not have time to dodge from the speed of the bullet that was released from the nest.

“Liz, are you okay?”

Lizbeth blinked her eyes and looked at Edward with gasping breath.

“Ya, I.only surprised.”

Edward helps Lizbeth stand up and immediately directs his Deagle muzzle at the woman who is still lying on the floor. Thank Victor who came in time and managed to push the woman until the shot that was aimed at Lizbeth missed the wall to the right of Lizbeth, the shot that only missed a few cents was worthy of gratitude for successfully saving the woman's life.

Both Edward and Victor had pointed the tip of their guns at the red-haired woman and Edward's agents were ready.

“Aarrgghh..f*ck!” The woman cursed loudly and groaned in pain as Edward slid a bullet into the woman's right leg. The deadly gaze in a blanket of anger was clearly visible on Edward's current blue eyes.

“Who are you?!”

“F*ck!! You don't need to know who I am, damn it!”

“Ouch..shit!!” The woman again cursed as Edward landed a kick on her stomach. While Lizbeth was still silently observing the cruel scene that was unfolding before her eyes.

“Say or I'll stick a knife in your brain right now!” hiss Edward full of warning still stared at the woman who was staring at him sharply full of anger the same as himself.

The woman chuckled softly then looked at Lizbeth with a difficult look to understand, she admitted her negligence this time when she foolishly entered into Edward's headquarters instead, mafia territory that certainly will not make it easy to escape, but emotions and obsession make his brain can not think clearly. He instead attacked Lizbeth without any preparation even forgetting the condition that the men he was carrying had been slaughtered by Edward's trained agent.

“Nathalia Iwanova Kostova.”

Lizbeth rounded his eyes at the name and looked at Edward who was still silent, as if the man was also quite surprised but managed to cover him behind the aura of his current intimate power.

“Last descendant Golden Rose? Amazing!” Edward grabbed the woman's hair firmly “I'm not stupid! The old man would not be able to possibly send his last descendant to attack with such a bad strategy.quickly tell me who are you?!”

“I am their last descendant!!”

Edward smiled slantingly and removed his trap then took a step back, looked at Victor and coded through his eyes which were immediately understood by the man.

“Set him!” victor's orders to his men . “Ready!”

The two children of a large man dragged the woman who claimed to be Nathalia by force without feeling even indifferent to the blood that continued to flow from the gunshot wound on the woman's leg.

“Dia—wasn't he the golden rose descendant you've been looking for all this time, Ed?” lizbeth asked with a puzzled expression as Edward did nothing at this moment.

“Hhmm.we go home now.”

Lizbeth frowned increasingly clueless but his feet followed Edward who had walked out of the building and immediately opened the door for Lizbeth so that the woman entered first and then followed him who sat down next to her. Edward immediately told his driver to go to his mansion. The mansion Lizbeth had never known before.

“Ed..”

“Hmm.” Edward just muttered and pulled his hair back.

“Au—“

“I'll explain everything later. You want to know, why am I looking for the descendants of Golden Rose?”

Lizbeth nodded, that was exactly what he was about to ask. Because all this time Edward did not want to explain anything other than his real name as well as his goal of finding the descendants of Golden Rose without wanting to tell the reason.

According to Edward, maybe Lizbeth it's time to find out about him because Edward has indirectly involved the woman deep into his life.

“Can I trust you?”

“You really want to know why I married you, huh?!” edward asked closer his face and leaned his body towards Lizbeth who was still waiting for Edward's next sentence. “What is the basis when two people decide to be together?” “Love?”

Edward nodded confirming Lizbeth's reply. “Good. That's right.”

“But I feel you—“

“Do not love you? Then what about you? Do you really love me too?”

Lizbeth groaned furiously and grabbed Edward's hair violently.

“Stop messing around, Ed!” Edward cursed silently and looked at Lizbeth sharply, irritated that his wife was so brave she did not even hesitate to take him. The thing that makes Victor and the driver in front of the laughter because of the prestige of their big boss who just collapsed due to the wife.

“Handle, Liz!”

“Give me an answer and I'll let you go.”

“Shit! Answer what?!” Edward closed his eyes withstanding the emotion that was ready to explode, but somehow he could not move his hand to hit Lizbeth right now. “Did you marry me because you loved me?”

Again Edward breathed in rough air and looked at Lizbeth sharply. “Yes, I love you. Is that enough?! Now let go of your brash hands or I—“

“Or what, huh?!”

Lizbeth further strengthens his trap. In his heart he chuckled, when else could he make Edward upset and look pitiful in front of his men? Lizbeth tells her husband that she will not rule and control everything, dominating and intimidating Lizbeth as before.

“Don't lure me into being rude, Liz!!” hiss Edward was still trying to be patient so as not to break his wife's neck right now.

Lizbeth took off his trap and opened the car door and immediately got out of there because the car had stopped in front of a large and luxurious mansion.

Goddamnit! Edward soon caught up with his wife and no longer cared about Victor and his men who held back laughter until their laughter broke after Edward entered the mansion. “You bought this mansion as our wedding gift?” ask Lizbeth while observing the classy interior in front of him. “Dream only!”

Lizbeth chuckled softly and followed Edward up the stairs and definitely towards their room.

“Do I have my own room?”

Edward stopped his steps after successfully turning the knob of the room door and opened it. The man pulled Lizbeth in and closed the door until a loud bang filled the room.

Edward cornered Lizbeth on the wall with a hardened jaw. Roughly Edward pulverized Lizbeth's lips and gripped the girl's wrist firmly to make Lizbeth grimace.

“Mmphh..stop it!!”

Lizbeth forcefully pushes Edward's body until their kiss is released. With a breath of breath Lizbeth rubbed his wrists and stared intently at Edward, while Edward himself sighed and then pulled Lizbeth's hand. Without Lizbeth expecting it, her husband kissed Lizbeth's wrist gently and then carried her woman in his arms.

“I'm tired, and don't beg me to be rude. Stop asking unimportant questions and be patient to hear all my explanations. One more thing, whatever I say or I do it all has a reason and don't ever ask me what the reason is if I don't tell you, because it's a sign I don't want you to know. Do you understand?!”

“I should know if it concerns about me.” Lizbeth broke free from Edward's embrace and looked seriously at her husband. “If you're married to me then you've trusted me, and I have the right to know anything about me.”

Edward did not answer. The man turned around and threw his suit on the sofa and then began to release one by one the buttons of his shirt until all was released showing a muscular checkered stomach.

“Replace your clothes and rest,” said Edward before entering the bathroom with a shirt he threw on the sofa, where he also threw his suit.

Lizbeth grabs her hair in frustration, each time Edward speaks has a hidden meaning and intent that Lizbeth must understand. Unfortunately, the girl was not good enough to solve Edward's riddles quickly. Including what the real purpose of Edward married her.
