Lizbeth leaned her body against the long sofa next to the busy man with a pile of papers in front of her and immediately turned her head when she found Lizbeth beside her, a gentle smile was etched vividly on a beautiful face in a dimple garnish that would leave anyone mesmerized. The man slightly shifted to the right to give the distance between himself and Lizbeth, not nothing because he knew a girl like Lizbeth was different from other girls who liked to sit attached to men.
“It's better?”
“Ya, slightly. What are you working on?” Lizbeth grabbed a piece of paper in front of her, read it at a glance and shook her head “.complicated.”.
The man chuckled and collected the paper scattered on the table, tidying it up before putting it back in the folder.
“Want to eat out?” Lizbeth was silent for a moment before nodding.
Since that night he left Edward's apartment, he accidentally met his old friend, a childhood friend who knew him well. Dmitry Jhonson, the owner of Jhonson Corp., is the only son of Martin Jhonson, an FBI agent, a friend of Boris Zakharov, who is Elizaveta's parents. The accidental meeting made Dmitry force Lizbeth to come with him to see Lizbeth's condition is not okay. Of course Lizbeth did not tell about Edward as well as the cause of his bad condition. The girl said she was only unwell during a trip from Mexico to New York because she wanted to visit her parents' estate. Luckily, Dmitry believed it and asked nothing more.
“Come!”
Lizbeth moves from her seat and follows Dmitry out of the magnificent mansion to a black car waiting for them. Dmitry gently opened the door for Lizbeth before himself rushing towards the other side and opening the steering wheel door. Dmitry drove his car quietly away from the mansion to a restaurant.
Lizbeth's alert and sharp eyes now begin to spread his gaze when he sees three cars following them, whether Dmitry realizes it or not that clearly the man is still calm, in contrast to Lizbeth who was already on standby brainwashing to find a way to deal with them if the person really wanted to attack his article at this time Lizbeth did not have any weapons other than a folding knife that faithfully accompanied him. There's no way he'll attack with just a penknife, right?
“Roof left.”
Dmitry raised his eyebrows next to Lizbeth's words with eyes that could not be separated staring at the rearview mirror of the car.
“What's up?” Lizbeth looked at Dmitry so seriously that he had the man obey Lizbeth's orders to turn their car to the left and stop him right in front of a minimarket when Lizbeth asked to stop.
Dmitry stared at the rearview mirror of the car and chuckled softly before opening the dashboard taking two revolvers and throwing one of them at Lizbeth. The girl couldn't cover up her shock, as long as Lizbeth knew, Dmitry wasn't the one who had a life with a gun like this even though he was the son of an FBI agent.
“You..”.
Dmitry nodded and still noticed the three cars coming to a stop behind them. “I know your life Lizbeth, and don't worry, I've also been a part of the dangerous mafia world.”
Not wanting to think much Lizbeth just nodded, he could ask for that explanation later. The girl took off her seatbelt followed by Dmitry and rushed out of the car. Along with that, the door of the three cars that followed them had opened revealing a tall figure full of intimidation aura with a cold gaze stepping out, walk up to Lizbeth and Dmitry who are now stopping their steps. The surprised expression was clearly visible on the two but in a different sense.
“Brother!” Dmitry unhesitatingly rushed up to the figure and instantly developed his smile which was greeted with light ruckus. In contrast to Lizbeth who was fixated on the spot staring at the two figures in front of him who were greeting each other familiarly.
“What brought you here? Oh no, I mean.what made you follow me?” Dmitry said casually as if he had been used to acting like this.
Dmitry stopped his speech as Edward walked past him, approaching Lizbeth who suddenly could not get out of place. The feeling of anger reappeared but suddenly faded replaced with foreign feelings that began to control Lizbeth's heart. Maybe a feeling of longing?
Lizbeth swallowed his saliva as Edward, who was standing right in front of him, leaned his face against the stern gaze of the misleading blue eyes. Lizbeth could only grip the revolver in his right hand firmly holding his breath as Edward uttered the sentence in an absolutely indisputable tone. “Come home!”
Lizbeth exhaled slowly. The phrase ‘ayo rumah’ has another meaning in Lizbeth's mind. Going home? Where indeed? It was as if the man was taking his wife back to their home. Gosh's! the reaction from Lizbeth's heart was overwhelming at this time. Even being too busy to calm himself down, Lizbeth was unaware that Edward had already pulled his hand to walk after the man towards the car. But before that, Lizbeth stopped his steps and stomped his hand firmly until Edward's check came off. Lizbeth turned to look at Dmitry who somehow smiled ignorantly.
“See you, Lizbeth,” said Dmitry waved his hand before turning to leave Lizbeth with Edward and some of his men. Lizbeth was even forced to clench back his mouth that was about to say something when he realized Dmitry as if he did not care and seemed to support himself brought by Edward.
Lizbeth groaned angrily as Edward rudely pushed her into the car following the man sitting next to her. Edward's private driver immediately drove the car away with two cars following him in the back.
Edward leaned his body, closed his eyes with both hands folded in front of his chest even though he knew that now Lizbeth was looking at him sharply. Secretly Edward felt a relief in his heart even now he felt calm. That sickening frenzy disappeared once Lizbeth was in his power again.
“Don't look at me like that.” The flat tone with a hoarse voice made Lizbeth snort pensively. He also did not understand why his brain suddenly froze and his body just complied when Edward took him away.
Edward opened his eyes and turned his head, again the gaze of those misleading blue eyes dived deeply into Lizbeth's green eyes. Edward groaned before pulling Lizbeth fast, smelling his lips greedily and not even letting Lizbeth move his body in the slightest. Edward continued to pulverize Lizbeth's lips deeper, ripping apart Lizbeth's defenses, breaking the girl's heart and mind until her instincts moved wildly to the rhythm created by angel-faced demon men like Edward. Lizbeth groaned softly as Edward bit his lower lip gently pressed against his nape. Even Lizbeth was not aware now he was no longer sitting next to Edward but in the lap of the man. Lizbeth's wiggly fingers crept in between Edward's hair scrambling wildly until a frustrated groan Edward sounded increasingly sexy to Lizbeth. Either since when they start to like this closeness, forget each other's egos and let the instincts rule.
Edward let go of his pagutan when he felt the need to replenish their lungs with oxygen, his breath hunting like what was being experienced by Lizbeth.
Edward was still staring at the pretty face full of interest, his hand pressed Lizbeth's back until it stuck to his warm body, as if hugging him lovingly before whispering something then stuck an injection on Lizbeth's neck and made the girl slowly close her eyes with a limp body that resigned in Edward's arms. “You are Mine!”
The sentence could still be grasped by Lizbeth's faint sense of hearing.
Edward smirked in satisfaction and stroked Lizbeth's head gently. Ignoring the two who bear witness to their hot kisses is also the cunning of the handsome devil.
“We go to the airport now!”
“Yes, Sir.” Edward's driver answered obediently.
Victor who was sitting next to the wheel just pulled his smile seeing their big boss acting out of bounds again.
Now Edward will take Lizbeth to Mexico again to investigate the Golden Rose further and will certainly take Lizbeth anywhere. Edward accidentally injects sleeping pills for Lizbeth so that the girl can rest her body because Edward knows that the condition of the girl's body has not fully recovered. The effect of the poison he gave at that time was extraordinary even though it was only given in the lowest dose. For two days Lizbeth was in Dmitry's mansion not spared Edward's supervision of course. The man knew whatever Lizbeth was doing and talking about.
Regarding Dmitry, the man was one of Edward's friends in the mafia world. Dmitry often bought guns from Edward as well as some drugs for personal gain. As a successful businessman, of course, many will target his life so that no doubt Dmitry entered the mafia world.
