Not Salihah's Wife

Not Salihah's Wife
Near But Far

“Bu Mirna, there's Pak Pram. He has gone up,” said one of the boutique employees at Mirna by phone.

Mirna let out her breath hearing Pram coming again. Just now that the phone handle was placed, the man in question had already opened the door of Mirna's study.

“Why do I feel like you're getting here more and more and more indecent. Okay, you are indeed the owner of the capital of this boutique but I need privacy,” Mirna told Pram who was sitting on one of the sofas.

“Sit down Mirna, we have to talk!”

“I am talking,” said Mirna.

Eventually Pram and Mirna sat face to face even though the woman's gaze was not fixed on the man in front of her. Ever since Amara left Randy pregnant, Mirna and Pram's previous relationship has been somewhat strained.

Mirna is disappointed because Pram who had a past with her and at the same time a friend, can not keep Amara who became her daughter-in-law.

“Myrna, we need to help Randy and Amara to improve their relationship. How much longer will you punish Randy and let Amara go through her pregnancy alone. You feel for yourself how difficult it is to be a single mother, do you want Amara to feel the same?”

Mirna was still silent, with both hands folded in her chest. She wants Amara to be happy but what Randy and his family did was not only hurt Amara but Mirna as the mother and mother of the family.

“I represent Randy also on behalf of the family, sorry to you and Amara. Okay, you're disappointed but have you ever asked Amara, what she wants and if Randy can fulfill it? If these two things have been done, we as parents can only support whatever their decision,” said Randy.

Mirna lowered her face, she felt like she had failed to look after Amara. Her heart was broken and sad to see Amara who went through pregnancy without her husband. What Pram said was true, it could be that at this time it was his ego compared to Amara's anger at Randy.

“Myrna ..”

Mirna wiped her tears.

“I'll ask Amara if she wants to meet with Randy to talk or not and I won't force her or facilitate their relationship to improve.”

“Where did you hide him, until I couldn't track him?” ask Pram.

Mirna just put her shoulder out.

...***...

Randy just arrived at the Yogyakarta Giwangan terminal, along with the six students who will carry out the KKN.

“Still far?” randy asked the group leader.

“Lumayan Sir. About an hour drive, a little to the corners but not very far kok.”

“What we ride there?”

“General numbers exist, sir. The plan we will just charter, so as not ngetem.”

Finally Randy and his guidance group were already on public transport to the village where KKN was held. There is no day that Randy will forget Amara, even the woman was supposed to join KKN last semester.

The natural scenery and rural atmosphere that passed enough to drive the burnout during the trip until finally they arrived in a true village said the group leader if the village was not really remote let alone the village left behind.

“We meet community leaders here, to let you know that you have come. for permission has been done before,” explained Randy. “If viewed, the conditions here are adequate. Electricity, waterways and educational facilities already exist, you will create what work program?”

“There is sir, later you will have a lot of communication with Mr after making sure our program is needed.”

Randy and the group's chairman went to the house as a community leader as well as local indigenous stakeholders, which is not far from the main road. The house is quite spacious, both buildings and other facilities.it can be ascertained that the owner of the house is not an arbitrary person.

Randy is greeted by a waiter and asked to wait.

“Maybe.”

The owner finally met Randy. Introduce each other and Randy re-introduces the purpose of his arrival.

“Please. For education and self-development, this village always provides opportunities. However, it should always be remembered not to do things that violate the norm or invite and exert a bad influence on the community here.”

“I'll make sure that doesn't happen, sir. I will be accompanied until the next two days and will come back again when the activity will end,” said Randy.

“Nak Randy, can stay here. There are guest rooms to use. For his group has prepared a house next to the village office. Can go directly there and just set the use.”

The middle-aged man called out to the servant who had been accompanying him ever since.

“Begging the waiter to take Nak Randy to the guest room for a break. These students take them to the house they will occupy. If you have, find Darmi and my granddaughter. I went to the river, I was worried. Being pregnant even play to the river, the base of the city.”

The house pendopo was again deserted, but the owner's old man was still standing while occasionally walking back and forth like waiting for someone. Until finally what was expected came.

“Basic naughty grandson, you are happy to make Eyang hangers huh?”

“Eyang lebay, I just take a short walk kayak who participated in the war aja.”

“How to go to the river, if you slip or fall where? Your mother will definitely blaspheme Eyang for keeping you alone can not, but the waiters here are many. You are pregnant old, don't be weird,” Wilaga told his granddaughter.

“I see there are some people, it doesn't seem like residents here? Who are they?”

“Students who KKN, just arrived earlier. Her mentor lecturer, Eyang asked to stay here. was resting in the guest room. Already there, you also break.”

Just as the grandson stepped away, Wilaga called back to him.

“Amara, have your mother contact Eyang.”

“Siap, Eyang. Don't be emotional and angry constantly, later high blood and stroke.”

“Basic naughty grandson.”

Amara chuckled to hear Wilaga who was still babbling because of her actions and then hissed slowly while holding her stomach.

“Mbak Amara, why mbak?” ask Mbok Darmi.

“Nothing, just regular cramping. It's gone again,” replied Amara. “Mbok, lunch I will take you to the room only yes.”

Mbok Darmi, the waiter who was in charge of accompanying Amara, nodded and rushed to the kitchen to prepare his master's lunch.

When going into her room, Amara stared at the guest room facing her room. The door opened with a pair of shoes on a shelf under the window.

“KKN supervising lecturer, which campus is it?” amara then went into her room.

While the occupants of the guest room stared at the back of the woman who had just closed the door.

“It looks like the woman is the grandson of Mr. Wilaga who is pregnant,” muttered Randy.
