Not Salihah's Wife

Not Salihah's Wife
Another In The Mouth Another In The Heart

“You have arrived,” welcome Imelda to her son and daughter-in-law.

After a few days Randy and Imelda stay at the hotel, though nothing happens to the couple after the wedding and after Randy learns of Hana's condition.

Hana smiled and greeted and kissed her mother-in-law's hand.

“Amara where is Mih? We went to the apartment he was not there, I also called hard,” complained Randy.

Imelda clucked at her son's question and took Hana in. Randy comes in with Hana's suitcase.

“I'm going to Mother's place, maybe Amara is there. Hana, you're here,” said Randy who was answered with a nod of his head by Hana.

“Randy, as you leave your wife alone.”

“There's Mami here,” says Randy.

“Have you taken care of Hana, Amara let her do what she wants,” Imelda said.

“Mih, Please. Since I and Hana ijab qabul and arrived in Jakarta, she has not contacted me much less answered my call. I have to meet him.”

Randy leaves Hana and Imelda for Amara's mother's house. Actually Randy wanted to go to the boutique to see his mother-in-law, maybe Amara was there but she was hesitant. She needs to meet with Amara before admitting her guilt is remarried even though it may have been known by her mother-in-law.

The car driven by Randy finally enters Mirna's residential area. Looks lonely, surely her mother-in-law does not exist.

“Bik, Amara is inside?” randy asked the housekeeper who happened to be on the porch.

“Neng Amara is in her room.”

“He didn't lecture?” ask Randy again.

“No Den, Neng Amara was sick was down just for breakfast and then delivered again to the top by Ibu.”

Amara is sick, Randy's inner being rushes inside the house and towards the second floor where Amara's room is located.

"Rome," call Randy when he opens the door.  The atmosphere of the room was a bit dim due to the lights being extinguished but the curtains seemed to be deliberately not opened wide.

The man sat on the edge of the bed looking at his wife's pale face. Her hands extended out to touch that face and both of Amara's eyes slowly opened. They stared at each other until Amara finally made a sound.

"Did I miss you so much that even in a dream your face was visible."

Amara closed her eyes again.

"You don't dream" said Randy, rubbing his wife's face.

The eyes with the plump feathers opened again, "Sir Randy."

Randy also ventured face to face with Amara, even embracing his wife's tiny body into the deck. It felt the woman's body tremble and sobbing.

"I'm sorry, Amara. I didn't know it was going to end up like this,"

Amara did not say anything, her cries could already express how she felt.

...***...

Amara leaned back on the headboard of her bed and shook her head as Randy fed the food back to the front of her mouth.

"A little more, you just ate six spoons."

"No, I'm claustrophobic when I eat a lot" said Amara.

Randy sighed, his emotions were really tested. She was so worried about the woman that the housekeeper told her that Amara was sick but she was silent when asked about her complaints and pain.

Amara said there was nothing serious about her complaint, only asthma. For a few days, he was treated in hospital.

"Have you come?" The couple turned towards the voice, it turned out that Amara's mother was coming. "Follow Mother!" tell Mirna to Randy when the man has not had time to answer.

"Didn't Mother tell you not to hurt Amara, than you wish her better you divorce." Mirna immediately spoke when she was in the living room sitting opposite her daughter-in-law.

"Mother, I didn't know it would be like this. It's an unexpected situation I don't intend to marry Hana either."

Mirna wanted to slap her daughter-in-law in the face, especially considering Imelda who said not to contact Randy when Amara was in the hospital.

"Sorry Bun, can't. Amara will stay with me, I'll take responsibility for her life."

"To be tormented by living with her honey, you mean that?"

"Bun, believe. Only Amara will be my wife and play a full role as a wife" explained Randy.

"Mara is young, you should have let her go. Widow status is no problem than having to share a husband."

Long enough Randy talked to his mother-in-law when he returned to the room there was no Amara but sounding gurgling water from the toilet.

Randy's phone rings, apparently a call from Hana.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Mas," Hana said on the other end of the phone.

"Getishalight."

"Mas Randy is still with Amara?" ask Hana.

"Yes, he is not well and I will accompany him. You live with Mami first" Randy said.

"Ehm, I understand Mas but Mami asked you to keep coming home or not."

"Hana, you tell me what I said earlier. I'm trying to be fair, Amara needs me."

Without Randy realizing it, Amara had already gotten out of the toilet and listened to what her husband had to say. The woman took a breath, trying to hold back the jealousy because from Randy's words it was heard that the man refused to go home.

Randy ended the phone call and turned his head and looked at Amara who was still standing glued only to wear a bathrobe.

“Amara, why not get dressed?” randy asked his wife.

Actually Amara's appearance is quite tempting for Randy, some days he is far from Amara and can not finish something that has become opium when with Amara. With Hana he only promises to cover up the woman's shortcomings including not touching her, until he finally decides whether to split up or accept Hana.

“Wait here, I'll get you clothes,” Randy said as he directed Amara to sit on the edge of the bed.

Randy picked up satin pajamas including da_lam for his wife. When she wanted to help, Amara refused.

“I can do it myself.”

“You are sick, let me help you,” suggested Randy.

“Pak Randy ..” Amara screeches when her bathrobes are pulled up to display her plain body.

Randy just smiles but the interaction of the two is stopped when Amara and Randy's cell phone rings. Amara immediately put on her clothes and headed to the nightstand and looked at her phone screen.

“Tante Imelda,” muttered Amara then turned to Randy who had answered the phone call.

“Can't, Mami's business let me take care of.” Randy said hello ending his conversation with Hana.

“Halo,” says Amara.

“Amara, ask Randy to come home soon. You allowed him to remarry yourself so don't have Randy for yourself,” Imelda said on the other end of the phone.

“I didn't hold it, Mr. Randy himself came.”

“You must have pretended to be sick ‘kan?”

Amara massaged her forehead which felt dizzy hearing the babble from her mother-in-law. Randy realizes that Amara has received a call from her mother to snatch Amara's phone.

“Mih, don't let me be rude with Mami. Amara needs me now and Hana is fine or Mami wants me to divorce Hana now?”

Amara recaptured her cell phone and ended the call from Imelda. He is in a bad position, because Imelda will be more pressing because Randy defends him.

“It's better for Mr. Randy to come home, I'm fine.”

“Amara, don't do this. Our relationship will not be good if you ..”

Amara approached her husband wiping the chest of her husband's field which was still wrapped in a shirt and patted him slowly.

“I'm fine, Aunt Imelda just don't want Mr. Randy's wife over there lonely. You guys just got married.”

Amara tried to smile even though her heart was crying.
