Not Salihah's Wife

Not Salihah's Wife
Marriage Permission Again

I couldn't have married Hana either, even though I did love her and we already had dreams and household plans. Polygamy is not the solution to this problem, inner Randy.

If Randy is disappointed because Kyai Amir offers a polygamy solution, different again with Hana who is disappointed because her future husband is married to another woman. Although they will eventually marry, just like Hana is no longer the only woman in Randy's heart and life.

“How's Randy Boy?” ask kyai Amir.

“Sorry, Mr. Kyai. Does it have to be like this?” Pram finally spoke up, as a man it felt that if Randy had to marry Hana, it would only hurt the two women.

“Pak Pram, I also have to protect my daughter's rights and good name. Hannah accepts whatever my decision is. As long as Randy's son is able to provide and able to be fair and there is permission from the first wife, there is nothing to worry about.”

For a moment the room was silent, until finally Kyai Amir asked Randy to call his wife.

“You can ask directly and we witness the answer from him,” suggested the man.

Randy moved with a heavy heart, seeing that Imelda was holding her son.

“Let Mami who calls Amara.”

Pram is actually worried about his wife's proposal to call Amara, considering that the wife does not like Amara and her mother too much. The man even prejudiced that Imelda would do anything to get Randy married to Hana.

“Amara,” call Imelda.

Amara who was standing watching the santri on the move and back and forth, turned to hear her mother-in-law calling.

“Iya, Auntie,” replied Amara who walked over.

“Cute me.”

“Sorry, but where?”

“Ck, don't get rich with important people until you reject our invitation. My besan candidate wants to meet you.” Imelda drew Amara's hand closer. “Listen, whatever Randy's future-in-law asks you should answer without complicating your husband. Especially if you refuse, I will withdraw the capital in your mother's boutique and fall poor you guys,” threatened Imelda in a whisper.

Amara endured the growl by clenching both her hands while smashing the dress she was wearing, but she could do nothing but just stand still.

“But, Aunt ...”

“Do not argue and remember my message earlier. Ah, neither will my threat be known to Randy and my husband or mother who will feel the consequences.” Imelda again threatened Amara.

“No need to cry and do not put on a warm face let alone depressed, come,” invite the middle-aged woman while hugging Amara's arms as if they are in a good relationship.

“Sit down,” Imelda's word to Amara gently and smiling face.

Amara, who was in the middle of the two families, lowered her face and sat right next to Imelda. Randy who sits on a different sofa can only stare and know that Amara is currently worried and scared. If he was beside Amara, it felt like giving a hug so that his wife could be calmer.

Hana looked at the face of the wife of her future husband, I don't know what was on her mind because the gaze was long enough for both eyes to dew.

She was so young and so beautiful, it was only natural that Mas Randy was reluctant to divorce the woman. Maybe he's already in love with his wife, Inner Hana.

“What's your name Nak?” ask Maya's mother.

Mother Maya smiled, “Not to be afraid, we will just ask. I'm Umi Maya the mother of Hana and this is Kyai Amir Hana's father,” said the woman introduced herself also the husband.

Amara nodded slowly and looked at Mother Maya

“Nak Amara, we've heard about your marriage to Randy.”

Amara swallowed her saliva, she turned to Hana who was sitting right next to Maya's mother. Their gazes met, although not angry and jealous but sad and sad look be it Amara or Hana.

“We have decided that the wedding plans of Randy and our daughter are not kidding and canceling them will only make us ashamed. In religion we are allowed a man to have more than one wife.”

Amara suddenly felt claustrophobic hearing the explanation, able to guess the direction of this conversation. Maya's mother hasn't explained it until it's over but she can already guess the estuary from the discussion that's going on.

“As long as Nak Randy is able to provide and be fair, it doesn't matter if he also marries Hana. Hana herself left all the decisions to us and we need your answers. Please son Randy, ask permission from your wife,” Mother Maya told Randy and Amara.

Randy looked down he did not dare to look at his wife's face let alone make a sound. Pram can't resist the decision that's in Randy's and Amara's hands. However, if Amara is right it will be combined somehow a reaction from Mirna.

Amara did not believe what she had heard that her husband would ask her permission to marry his future wife.

“Pak Randy,” call Amara who has turned her head and looked at her husband.

Randy raised his face, looking at the face of the woman he was about to hurt. He should have complied with Amara's request by divorcing her rather than at the moment they are already attached and have feelings but someone has to be hurt.

“Amara .. I ...” The man could not continue his sentence, while Amara was still staring and waiting for what her husband would say.

“Randy,” reprimand Imelda.

Randy reopens his voice and asks Amara's willingness to allow him to marry Hana.

Tears finally dripped and soaked Amara's cheeks, the woman crying silently still looking at the husband. If he could express his heart, he couldn't watch Randy marry another woman, he couldn't open his mouth to allow the man to become a double. It is better that she receive the pledge of talaq from her husband than to hear the iqrab ijab qabul which is again spoken by Randy for other women.

“Amara,” scolds Imelda while rubbing her daughter-in-law's head.

Amara remembered the threat of her mother-in-law, so as not to refuse and make it difficult for her husband. She wanted to be selfish and attach importance to her happiness but the face of the Mother crossed her mind. Mother's smiling face that has been worrying about her lately.

Mother, forgive me. Maybe it's for the best, I'd like Mr. Randy to get married again. I hope you understand this situation, Inner Amara.

“Amara, we are waiting for your answer,” said Ibu Maya awakened Amara daydreams.

“A-aku .. allowed Mr. Randy to remarry and absolutely no objection,” said Amara then lowered his head and rubbed his wet cheeks.

Randy does not believe Amara will say that, the woman he knows recklessly and a little bar bar instead allows him to remarry. The man suggested Amara would vehemently reject his request.

Not only Amara who felt pain, Maya's mother as a woman understood very well what Amara felt.

“Because Randy has obtained permission from his wife, you should get married now so that there is no doubt or anything else that can overturn this decision,” said Kyai Amir and of course surprised everyone present.
