Mystery of Room 13

Mystery of Room 13
Section 86: Calling As a Witness

After the death of the two police officers, my eyes were rounded while staring at the call letter that I was holding tightly. Wulan seemed to bite her lips slowly.

"Han, how is this? All those years ago I got a call like that. A-are we going to jail huh, because it's considered to be an offense Intan?"

"No, no, no, Lan. We're not wrong." My lips did say as if they were going to be fine but my heart was filled with fear. All the inhabitants of this index also know that I was chasing Intan, although in fact I followed where the ghost that always carrying his head went.

Me and Wulan might be considered troubled people and last saw the girl whose body was full of ulcers. It could be that all the bad guesses about the tragedy of Intan's disappearance are now pointing to me and Wulan.

"Han, we will be asked what? This is the first leg, I have to deal with the police."

"I don't know how it will be either. It was also the first and hopefully the last to deal with the police force."

"Amen. We get yu ready, Han. Rather than later we are forcibly picked up using a bulletproof car and escorted by a tank car and accompanied by a fully armed officer."

I laughed at his words that were too far away and too excessive. "Lan, we are only witnesses and not******* that should be arrested in such a horrible way."

"Who knows, Han. I'm horrified to see the arrests on television and there's even a gunfight."

I want to feel like I hit the woman with a pillow because her thoughts have been widened everywhere. "Never throw a grenade or an atomic bomb at each other that just destroyed this place, Lan. People are dumbfounded."

Wulan only grimaced while scratching her head. I immediately asked the woman to shower immediately and prepare in advance. Then I took a shower and got ready.

"Han, I deg-degan. What if we were thrown in jail?"

"No, no. Already, bismillah. We're facing it together."

By riding a Wulan motorcycle, we departed even though it felt uncomfortable also not calm because we had to deal with legal cases. Upon arrival there, Wulan and I walked into a different room.

Now I have to deal with two officers whose age may not be too far away. They asked me many things, one of which was my last meeting with Intan. I told him all the possible details, all the events of the last time Intan met me in a tense situation.

"Why didn't you report this incident to the police?"

"Sa-I don't think that far. To me being safe and being able to get together with other friends is more important."

"According to some people, when sister Intan comes out of your room then you run after her. Really true?"

I let out a rough sigh, before continuing my explanation that would probably sound strange and unreasonable.

"Actually I went out it was not to follow Intan but a headless ghostly figure who led me and led me into the magical village. Maybe this sounds weird but believe it or not, that's what I'm going through."

Although I was very scared and nervous but I tried hard and stayed calm. The man looked to be frowning his forehead. Then read my files.

"Sir, he lives in the bloody indecos?"

As I nodded my head, the man seemed to fan his body with his hands. "Huft, why would this case have to happen there again anyway, it would be hard to express." The man complained in a soft voice but still my ears could still hear him clearly.

"What's up, sir?" manya curious. The man moved his face towards me.

"Every time there is a criminal case, especially the case of the discovery of a corpse and the disappearance of a person, we never find the meeting point. Let's not say the victim was occupant of room number thirteen, just as he already was."

I shook my head quickly while the officer extended a smile. "Good, that means there's a possibility this case could be exposed" he hissed slowly.

The man patted his forehead. "Already, Brin. You can definitely break up the case. I must succeed, so as not to be like a father who failed in exposing evil."

"Sorry, Sir. What the hell does this mean? Is there any connection to finding a corpse in my room in such a terrible condition as having its head cut off."

Apparently the police who found the body was the father of the police who was asking for my information. While in the case of the disappearance of Gayatri handled by his eldest brother. Both are deadlocked, finding no way out of this problem.

"Why is it a coincidence, sir? I would like to discuss this issue sometime because since I have lived in the bloody senses, I have often been terrorized by the invisible." The policeman named Ari gave me a paper containing his mobile number.

"Call me if you find anything that could be used as a clue about the incident. I wish he could work together to break the mystery of your room."

"Sir, may I know why a terrible case like the discovery of a corpse in my room was finally frozen?"

"Lack of information we received from this case. The identity of the victim is unknown. The absence of witnesses also complicates the officers. The owner of the index was waiting for his son who was critical while the guard of the index was also on guard at the patrol post never found anything strange. It even seemed like the woman was suddenly there. The room was empty for a long time. The door to the room was broken, too."

After nearly three hours of questioning, I was finally allowed to go home. Not long after waiting, Wulan came out of her room examined.

"Lan, I'm so relieved. Everything finally got through well."

Without saying much more I immediately invited Wulan to go home because this was approaching lunchtime while in panic, we both had only had time to pluck a small piece of torn bread. Wulan and I decided to eat at a tofu peel shop located not far from the factory where Wulan works.

"Hopefully yes, Han, just get here our business with Intan and also the police station. Serem knew the officer. Where is judes."

"Lan, you know what? The one who takes care of the case for the discovery of the corpse continues the disappearance of Gayatri and the one who takes care of Intan's case is one family. Father and his two children who both work as police."

Wulan also gaped when she heard my words. He was just as surprised as me.

"How come?"

"We exchange numbers so we can contact each other when we have the latest information. Even if the worst happens. We will be notified in advance if we are designated as suspects or if our names are proven to have nothing to do with the disappearance of Intan. We were even before the official letter from the police to our house."

Wulan and I immediately went back to Indekos because we also had to work. Entering the index gate my legs started to tremble even my hands started to give off cold sweat. I was terrified because I suddenly thought about last night.

"Han, what's wrong with you? Why is your face suddenly pale?"

"I'll tell you but not now and not in that place. The wall has ears. A-ayo, we're going into the room."

My legs felt heavy as I climbed the stairs to the second floor, where Bu Wati lived. Sweat as big as corn kernels kept melting soaked my body. I squeezed Wulan's arm tightly as my leg reached the last rung of the stairs. Just then, the door of Bu Wati's room opened. I stopped and somehow couldn't move like a statue.

"Mak Wulan, Sister Hanna, where are you going? How pretty and neat?"

I'm sick of seeing her sweet-ass face when her real face is so cruel. You old whore, just look at me again, all your behavior I'm going to report to the authorities. With one tap I will call Mr. Ari, the police officer earlier.

Without answering her question, I pulled Wulan to ride. I don't know where my body was from when my body couldn't move.
