Just this time I reviewed a smile on that invisible creature. I would usually scream in fear. Although I got a reply to a creepy grin, it was not the most important thing that Wulan could recover. Whatever way I have to go.
"Han, why look outside with a smile? We're leaving now yes" Ridwan asked.
"Oh yeah, hurry up, Wan. I'm afraid Wulan's why."
"Wulan identity have you brought?" I nodded while Ridwan immediately gas-fired the crowd on the way to the hospital.
My eyes were wet when I saw Wulan's unconscious and scarred condition. Why should he have to experience something as bad as this had not dried up his heart wound was now coupled with the physical injuries he had to bear.
"Lan, wakeup!" I whispered slowly to the woman whose head I was holding on to. "You must endure for your children. They are still very small, who will take care of them later? You wake up, Lan."
Looking at her claw-filled face made me grieve on my own. Somehow the wound hurt. My tears continued to flow even had time to drip on Wulan's face.
"Take this and I beg you not to cry again. I don't like my women crying like this." Ridwan thrust a tissue box at me. His right hand is holding the steering wheel. I better accept it, I don't want to endanger us later because Ridwan is not focused on driving.
"Thank you," I replied quietly, Ridwan seemed to smile as I wiped away the tears.
"Well, that's pretty. Smile dong, beautiful. Brother misses your sweet smile." The man threw a smile at me through the deep rearview mirror. In a crucial moment like this Ridwan can still make my heart tremble.
"What the hell, Wan. Look at the road. Be careful if you drive!"
The man just smiled then regained his concentration of splitting the crowded street in order to quickly get to the hospital. Right in front of the IGD room, Ridwan called for the help of the security guard.
"Sir, please, there's an unconscious patient in the passenger seat. Looks like we need a gurney!"
"Good, Sir!"
Quickly the security guards carried Wulan's limp body while the others took the gurney. Wulan's limp body was immediately brought inside. A medic there asked me and Ridwan to go to the administration room to register immediately.
"But, Ma'am. Wulan can be dealt with right?"
"Mom, just calm down. There's already a team that's directly checking the patient's condition." Actually I really want to wait for Wulan at this time. I want to know what those medics are doing.
"You wanna wait here? Then let me go to the administration room."
Ridwan seemed to know what I was thinking. I nodded weakly because it was hard to leave Wulan in this state even though she was currently in the health care check.
"Sus, can the patient be waited for?"
"Can, Sir. But the waiter has to be outside first yeah, until the doctor's team lets it." Ridwan looked at me as if asking for an answer from me.
"How long's the handling, Sus?"
"Depending on the condition of the patient, if my advice is better, the mother and father go to the administration room first after that just wait for the patient. Fear when the mother waited alone there patients came in unusual circumstances. I'm surprised."
"Unusual?"
"Yes, we must be prepared to accept whatever the circumstances of the patient. It's afraid the unusual mother sees it, shocked and something bad happens!"
It is better that I and Ridwan go to the joint administration room, and Wulan's personal data is in my bag. With a heart that keeps praying I keep asking for healing for my best friend. Hopefully, the headless ghost managed to bring back the soul of Wulan that may have been brought by the creature that possessed it earlier.
"Have it, don't panic and tense up. Wulan is a great woman, surely she can get through all this." His heavy hand held my hand tightly. The comfort of coming into contact with this tall man made my heart a little calmer.
Ridwan and I headed to the quiet administrative room, there was only one officer there because it was already night so very rarely there were patients who came, it was usually emergency room patients.
"Can you help me, Mom and Dad?" Although uncomfortable because from earlier called by the name of mother, I still force myself to smile. "Please sit down" said the bespectacled officer.
"Anu, Sir. I want to register my friend. He's in the IGD room now."
"Oh, okay. Can I borrow a patient's ID?" I immediately reached into the bag and took Wulan's wallet. There are a lot of cards in it. I don't know anything. In search of his identity card, I took out all the contents of his wallet.
"Awhile, sir. I'm looking first." I sorted through the tens of cards.
"Mom, if there are any patient insurance cards. Let us process it" said the guard man. With Ridwan's help I finally found the two cards the officer requested. The bespectacled man immediately typed Wulan's data.
"Mom, here's the identity card and insurance. This sheet will be handed over to the IGD officer please, ma'am. The cost of handling all depends on the officer and the doctor as well. Can be covered by insurance or have to pay like a common patient." I just nodded slowly and immediately left the room and headed for the IGD room.
"Sir, this is a document from the administration room" I said, handing over a large map to the officer sitting behind the desk.
"Oh, this is in the name of Wulan who's there, right?" he asked, pointing behind the closed curtains. "Whose hands are scarred and his face is full of scratches?"
"I-yes, Ma'am, that's my friend. How's he doing, Ma'am?"
The nurse seemed to be writing something on the paper without answering my question.
"Father and Mother, can you please explain the chronology of the story the patient can be like this?"
Stuttering I told him everything, including the cause of Wulan like this because it was under the influence of an evil spirit who possessed it. It sounds absurd but how else, that's the reality.
"That's right, the patient hurt himself? Not a victim of the KDRT or any other crime?" Suddenly I shook my head. The nurse seemed to be frowning her brows and frowning her forehead.
"Sir, ma'am, it's possible that patients can't be covered using insurance. For more details let the doctor keep explaining it," he said flat and then resigned to submit documents to the doctor who was handling Wulan.
Ridwan asked me to sit in the waiting chair. "Wan, why was the nurse saying that Wulan treatment can not use a health insurance card. Though its function is to help finance for moments of illness like this. My mother used to be sick and had to have surgery, everything was covered, but why Wulan's turn was not."
"There may be special considerations, but not necessarily that. Who knows, what is important now is that we continue to pray that Wulan is always in the protection of the Almighty."
I just nodded, it is true what Ridwan said, I should focus on Wulan's health first.
Not long after I saw a car stop at IGD's doorstep. Wait, it looks like I've seen that car but somewhere, I forgot.
A man I knew got out of the car in a hurry. Dia—
"Please!" his yell. Ridwan was about to stand up to help the man who was confused because in front of it was quiet, maybe the security officers were resting.
Ridwan stood up probably intending to help, I immediately put up with pulling his hand and asked him to sit back down. "Honey, help the man, it looks like he needs help or maybe he's bringing in an emergency patient."
"Let. Just call the nurse to help her." My very flat speech and the dislike gaze I directed at the man seemed to be legible by Ridwan.
"All right, I get it. I called the nurse first yes, to help the man."
I looked at the back of the man wearing the white bone t-shirt. He walked towards the room where Wulan was being acted on. Several sisters came out of there in a hurry, two of them moved out while pulling the gurney while the others waited inside.
I know for sure that who is in pain from the car chose to duck and stick to my phone, even though in my heart I was also afraid of anything happening to him.
As the gurney was pushed past me, I purposely covered my face with hair. However, from the top of the gurney dangled a moss-green scarf. That shawl, isn't it very similar to the dancer's half-faced exfoliated.
I raised my face, right the dancer was occupying Intan's body while her shawl covered the mouth of the girl whose face and hands blistered. I ran closer to Intan. The girl looked terrible her eyes were glaring at the dancer, her mouth wide open as if she was about to scream but could not because it was smothered by the dancer's shawl.
"Wait!" My screams stopped the nurses from moving. Adnan was surprised that I was in the room.
"Hanna, what are you doing here? You want to prevent Intan's healing? Did you hurt Intan less?"
I want to feel like I've torn the mouth of this man who is legally still Wulan's husband. Fortunately, in the hospital, I was able to hold back.
"Can you be disrespectful to women? You should be thanking Hanna because she told me to call sister!" I was surprised because apparently Ridwan was already in front of me, making my body covered by him.
"It's over!" I had to stop the two men from arguing before we were all kicked out by the security guards for making a scene in the hospital. "You shut up first, I want to talk to him."
I don't care about the confused gazes of the two men and the sisters. I walked over at the end of the gurney, right above Intan's head. Now I'm face to face with the dancer, the owner of the powder box.
I took a deep breath so that my fear would subside. No, I must not be afraid to face the monstrous creature that still occupied the bowels of the Diamond while its blistered hands seemed to dance with its eyes closed.
"I know you're listening to me. Please, let my friends out of your trap. Free them!"
The dancer's eyes, which had been closed, were now open. His eyes were bright red staring at me. The drops of blood coming out from the end of his eyes slowly soaked the floor. He grinned widely and laughed loudly, anyone who heard him would definitely be frightened. I tried to hold my heart together and keep from being outdone by fear. The woman's jaw was about to fall apart because her mouth was so wide open.
"I'll let them go, as long as you're in exchange. Come into my world and be my slave!"
