Hc .. tok ....
The sound of the door being knocked incessantly rang out. Agas who had just enjoyed his sleep time felt very disturbed. Because the sound of knocking on the door did not stop, Agas finally got up and opened the door.
“Antar Mama to home Nora.”
When the door opened, Aina's request was heard. Make Agas turn around immediately.
“Gas,” call Aina while pulling Agas' hand and making him turn back.
“I'm sleepy. Mama, just go by yourself.”
“Mama don't know her home address.”
“I'll give you.” Gnash into the room, then out with a piece of paper. “This.”
“Ma—”
Not done yet Aina spoke Agas had closed the door. He resigned when Agas could not drive him. After all if Agas escorted her, her son would know the plan.
With a piece of paper, Aina went to Nora's house.
Armed with the address given by Agas, Aina was finally able to find Nora's home. Aina politely knocked on the door, waiting for someone behind the door to open it.
A grandmother who might be about sixty years old opened the door. Aina had already guessed if it must be Grandma Nora who had been told.
“Good morning, Bu.”
Rahmi watches a middle-aged woman who may be the age of her late daughter-in-law. “Pagi. Find who?” ask because I don't know.
“I Aina-mama Agas.” Aina extended her hand.
Got Agas' name called, Rahmi just found out. He had heard the name Agas too often from Nora's lips, so he had already memorized who the man was.
“Rahmi,” he said while receiving Aina's hand. “Come, please come in.”
Aina went into the house. The house is quite comfortable even though the size is not as big as the house. The old-fashioned chair is a beautiful sight in the living room. Some tepo displays used to decorate the house. Looks classic.
Rahmi passed to the kitchen. Prepare drinks for guests. A moment later, he returned with a tray containing two cups of tea.
“Please drink,” he said as he placed the cup on the table.
“Thank you.” Aina smiled.
“Sorry Nora is going to the supermarket to buy some needs.” Rahmi guesses that Aina's arrival is to meet her granddaughter.
“It just so happens that I don't just want to meet Nora. I also want to get acquainted with Mother.”
Rahmi laughs. “It's a pleasure to meet the mother of the man who always told Nora.”
They're talking to each other. Aina asked about Nora to her grandmother. Sometimes I praise that beautiful girl. The conversation was not separated from Agas. Rahmi who found the story about Agas also felt sad. Feeling what Aina felt as an old man.
As the engrossed chatter Nora came. He was shocked by Aina's arrival to his house.
“What Aunt has been a long time?” ask Nora.
“It's been about thirty minutes. Because it's fun to chat with your grandmother so it doesn't feel.”
“Thank God,” said Nora staring at Aina and her grandmother. “What did Aunt Aina come here for? If necessary with Nora, can ask Nora just come to the cake shop.”
“It just so happens not only need with you, Ra, but with your grandmother as well.”
“Grandmother?” Nora was surprised by the reason for Aina's arrival.
The confused Nora looked at Aina and her grandmother in turn.
“Bu Aina proposed to you for Agas, Ra.” Rahmi who saw the confusion in her grandson immediately explained the intention of Aina's arrival.
Nora was shocked by her grandmother's words. Her net looked at Aina in confusion. It was as if from the highlight of his brown bead implied various questions.
“Iya, I came here to apply for you.”
“Tante just know me a few days, but want to propose, is Auntie not afraid I have any evil intentions?” Calmly Nora asked. Aina should be worried when she will marry her son to someone she just met. However, Aina faithfully proposes to Nora.
“If you are a bad person surely you will not bother making Agas out of the house.” Aina smiled.
Nora remained silent. Feel the feeling of love that is in the corner of his heart. Actually Nora liked Agas since she first met Agas at the hospital. However, since he had never spoken at all with Agas, that feeling simply vanished.
Eventually the feeling resurfaced when Agas was in rehab.
Starting with compassion, the feeling changes.
Unfortunately that feeling came when Nora's life was already filled with other men. Indirectly Nora was doubling in her heart.
But it is as if God said something else. After years of love. Exactly a month ago her love relationship ran aground. Nora who wants to stay away from her lover decided to apply for a move to Solo. In addition to that reason, one main reason was because of the sense of unreliability to see Agas who had just come out of rehab. He wants to help Agas out of the past.
“People say if someone gets married his life will change. Because of that, I'm sure Agas will rise up and forget his past.”
A past? The question bothered Nora. Agas will not be easy to forget the past that has been patched. Moreover, putting himself in the corner of his heart.
Nora thought back to her intention of coming to Solo. He went all the way to the batik city to help Agas. Monitoring Agas up close. And now, as the distance grew closer, it felt like there was fear in Nora's heart.
“What Agas agree?” The question was thrown as if hinting if Nora was willing.
“He will agree.”
Nora nodded. “Alright, I want.”
Aina smiled. Feeling relieved his steps went smoothly. Just tell her son about all this.
“We will come to apply specifically, Mom,” Aina told Rahmi.
“Please, just let us know to get everything ready. Nora no longer has parents, so her uncles will be her guardians.”
“Alright, then we go first.” Aina stood up and said goodbye.
After Aina left, Nora cleaned the remaining drinking cup. Take her to the kitchen to wash.
“Are you sure you accept it?” Rahmi who was sitting on the dining table chair asked. Looking at the back of his granddaughter who was washing glasses.
“I intend to help him out of the past that has bound him, Grandma. I think this is the right choice.”
“But he doesn't love you. Are you going to marry someone who doesn't love you?”
Nora stopped her hand movements. A faint smile was drawn at the corner of his lips. I don't know what a marriage would be like without love. More precisely without love Agas. He had not come that far to imagine.
“If she is hurt by love, I will treat her with love. Slowly expel the girl's name in her heart and replace it with my name.”
“What will not hurt you?” As a parent, Rahmi thought realistically. This is what happens when a relationship is only one heart.
“It will hurt, and I will
heal his own pain later.”
Rahmi could not say anything. His grandson's intentions seemed to have been rounded. Respecting and supporting her was the only thing she could do.
