Agas & Mara Chapter 8

Class ends. All students prepare to go home. Mara and Lili put the book in the bag, doing the same with the others. 

 “Ra, it looks like you have to go home by yourself because Delia asked me to deliver to Station.”

Mara had heard that Delia's father was sick, so her friend had to go back to Solo. “Iya, it's okay, I'll take public transport only.”

Mara and Lili quit the class and split up on the front page. Lili turned to the motor parking lot, while Mara exited the campus area, waiting for transportation in front of the campus. Since getting acquainted with Lili, he rarely takes a ride. Lili was already like a brother to him, so they did many things together. For food, gasoline and other purposes, sometimes they share. 

While waiting for the transport, Mara plays her phone. Just as he was engrossed in playing mobile, the motor sport stopped in front of him with a man riding on it. Mara's gaze turned to her right and left, looking for who the man had picked up. However, there was no one next to him. As for people, it was quite a distance away with him. 

Why would he stop here? 

The man who was riding the motorcycle turned off the engine and opened the glass full face helmet he was wearing. “Hai, Ay,” reply. 

Although he did not see the man's face clearly, but from the call that was pinned for him, he knew who the man was. Who else if not Agas-the guy who last night contacted him. Mara's eyes immediately looked around, making sure not many people were looking. 

“Come, I'll take you home.” Agas gave Mara a helmet. 

Mara gasps. For a moment he felt a sense of surprise. However, it came to a realization when Agas called him back. “No, will take freight only,” elak Mara. The choice to refuse is the right choice, considering that there will be many eyes that look at him if he goes home with Agas. 

“Come, Ay.”

Agas's resolute voice hypnotized Mara and made her reconsider Agas' offer. Looking around that looked lonely, Mara finally received the helmet and put it on. 

The high motor sport makes it difficult for Mara to ride. Inevitably, Mara clung to Agas' shoulder in order to get up. When the position is ready, Agas propel the bike. 

“Where is Lili?” ask Agas.

The bag that Mara placed in the middle between her body and Agas, made the sound of Agas difficult to hear. “What?” ask Mara for not hearing the question. 

“Lili to where?” Agas repeated his question. The sound of Agas being swept by the wind still made Mara not hear Agas' voice. 

Not hearing, Mara finally bent her body, brought her body closer and placed her head beside Agas' head. “What?” tanyakanya.

For the third time, Agas repeated his question. “Lili went where, why did you go home by yourself?” The sentence of the question deliberately extended Agas, so that Mara would be closer to him longer. 

“Lili drove our friend to Station,” replied Mara. Then he re-enforced his body. 

“Where to?” Agas, who does not know where Mara costs, is confused as to where the road should go. 

God, I didn't hear what he was talking about? 

Mara bent her body again, reaching out to Agas to hear. Agas who knew that if Mara did not hear, repeated her question again. Then, Mara tells where the cost is and the direction of the road. 

Motor arrives at Mara's boarding. Get off the bike, Mara holds on to Agas' shoulder so as not to fall. “Thank you,” he said while removing the helmet and giving it to Agas a moment later. 

Gias opens the helmet worn. “Sama-sama.” His hand received the helmet given by Mara. 

“Why not contact me if go home alone?” 

“What did I contact you for?”

“I can drive you home if you contact me.” Agas who had just walked out of the campus saw Mara standing on the side of the road. Not wanting the girl he liked to go home alone, Agas immediately approached her. 

“I used to go home alone if there was no Lili.”

“Throw away that habit of yours, because now there's me! So if you need help, just say.”

Mara does not want a big head to get attention from Agas, considering that maybe it is often done by Agas on the girls. To relieve Agas, Mara nodded. Then he said goodbye to go into his room, followed by Agas who drove his motorbike leaving Mara's boarding house. 

For whatever sake, Mara tried her hardest to hold back her nervousness throughout the trip with Agas. He was literally pounding close to Agas. Breaking down his body, he held onto his chest. As a normal woman, she admits that Agas is indeed handsome. However, considering that Agas is a rich and beautiful woman, Mara believes that she is not Agas' taste.

The sound of knocking on the door made Mara switch to look at the door. "Lake in!" yells. 

The door opened and there was Lili there. Lili immediately poured down her body beside Mara. "The road was jammed," he lamented. A moment later, however, he remembered something. "Why have you arrived? Doesn't it get stuck?"

“Macet, but earlier we tucked between parked cars,” Mara smiled.

Hearing the words ‘kami’ Lili tilted her body. "Who are you going home with?" 

Mara smiled and Lili immediately guessed. “Back with Agas?” ask her and get a nod.

"How can he take you?"

Mara explains how she met Agas. Lili was so happy when her friend could get close to Agas. As a friend she is happy when her friend is close to the handsome man of the college idol. 

"Surely he likes you." 

“You said I wasn't his taste. So I'm sure she doesn't like me, just by chance,” Mara said with her disappointed face. 

“Do not get discouraged first. Pray, if his taste is high hopefully he will lower his taste and finally choose you,” said Lili. 

Lili's words made Mara round her eyes. Then he throws Lili with a pillow as it is upset by indirectly addressing her ugly. Their laughter filled the silence of the boarding room.
