Double D Chapter 6

A man came out of the airport after picking up his suitcase. His steps were swung out to find his family who he said would pick him up. Unfortunately, it did not seem at all that his family was there. The man confirmed the glasses perched on his nose. Make sure his views are not wrong.

“It looks like, Mama really didn't pick me up.” Dean looked around and found that his family was not there. His smile rose at the corner of his lips. She thought her mother would not take her words seriously yesterday, but it turned out that she was wrong. My mom took her words seriously. Until finally not picking him up. Because he felt that no family came, Dean chose to go home by taxi only. 

Dean pulled the suitcase. Looking for a taxi in front of the airport. In front of the airport, he waited for a moment for a passing taxi.  Just as he was waiting, a car stopped right in front of Dean. Dean knows exactly whose car it is. 

The windshield of the car makes Dean see someone in there. It's right to guess if it's Al-His cousin. The man of course picked her up. 

“Sedang need a ride?” tanya Al teases. 

“Of course. Chance to go home picked up by young entrepreneurs, why not.” Dean smiles. 

Al returned that smile as well. Then press the button so that the cousin can put the suitcase in the trunk. Dean immediately put the suitcase in the trunk. When the suitcase came in, he immediately closed the trunk. With a casual step, he got into the car. Sitting on the steering wheel next to Al. 

Al who saw his cousin was already beside him immediately drove his car. Bringing the cousin home. 

“Mama told Kak Al to pick up?” Dean looked at Al.

“Yes, Mama Lyra there is a patient who will give birth. So finally he couldn't come to pick up.” Al explained to his sister. His eyes stay straight ahead.

Dean smiles. He's used to it like this. His parents were doctors, so sometimes there were patients who suddenly came and messed up all the plans they had made. However, it's not a big deal. Because the job as a doctor is like that. 

Car arrives home. Dean and Al get out of the car. The house looks so quiet. Understandably because the house is only inhabited by two people. Papa, mama, and now Dean. 

With his suitcase, Dean walked into the house. Just as he opened the door a party popper sounded. Little papers were falling right on Dean's head. 

“Surprise.” The cheerful voice of the people inside the house sounded. 

Dean, who had closed his eyes in surprise with the party popper, immediately opened his eyes. He wanted to see who gave the surprise. There's her Papa, Mommy Shea, Mommy Selly, Mama Chika, Daddy Bryan, Daddy Regan, Papa Felix, Shera, Freya, El, and her niece the Kean-Lean twins, as well as Anka-Rigel. 

Dean thought since there were so many families living in London, there would be no surprises like this. But it turns out he was wrong. His family still gave a surprise. 

“Welcome, De.” Papa Erix was the first to greet Dean. He stretched out his arms and hugged Dean. 

Dean really misses papa. The cool guy who was always his role model. “Thank you, Pa.” 

“Dean.” Mommy Selly who is her aunt immediately took turns hugging. “Happy finally you came home too.” He really felt so happy when his beloved niece came. 

“Yes, Mom, I'm going home because I want to work soon.” Dean who has finished his studies intends to work soon. 

“Mommy can't wait to see this young doctor in action.” Mommy Selly let go of her embrace. Then gently caress Dean's cheek. 

Dean just smiled. 

After Mommy Selly, there's Mommy Shea hugging Dean. “Happy to see you back.”

“Thank you, Mom.” 

“You should also drag Bian to go home.” Mommy Shea is a little upset that her son is not coming home. When everyone came home, he was still in London. 

“It looks like Mommy should be disappointed. Because he'll settle there.” Dean was so happy to tease Mommy Shea. 

“How can he stay there?” Mommy Shea knitted her eyebrows together. Feeling unaccepted with all of their words. 

“Mommy won't let.” Mommy Shea stared lazily at Dean.

“You love to tease Mommy.” Daddy Bryan, who saw his wife upset by Dean's words, stopped the conversation. 

Dean just laughed. He misses joking with his family. 

“How are you, De?” Daddy Bryan hugged Dean. Daddy Bryan is the younger brother of Mommy Selly who is the daughter-in-law of the Maxton family. It was from that relationship that they were all finally close. Although the family is far away, but they are so familiar. Since childhood Dean was also close to Daddy Bryan's children, such as El, Ghea, and Dean. 

“Good, Dad.”

The whole family welcomed Dean. Susana was so crowded when the little children greeted their beloved handsome uncle. Dean played right away. Not giving up the chance to enjoy this meeting.

Dr. Lyra who came out of the delivery room immediately prepared to go home soon. Because there was a patient, he was forced to not be able to welcome his son home. His duties as a doctor sometimes make him number the family. Patient safety is the main thing. 

Dr. Lyra swung her steps in a hurry. His rapid pace made him subconsciously bump into someone. Until it makes someone fall. 

“You all right?” Dr. Lyra immediately reached out to the person. When the man looked over, he found out that it was the girl who had helped him yesterday. “You turned out.” Dr. Lyra smile. 

Dearra who was passing did not expect to be hit suddenly by dr. Lyras. He who seemed to be in a hurry made him hit his body to make him fall. “No, Doc.” Dearra received a helping hand from dr. Lyras. Then get up off the floor. “It looks like the Doctor is in a hurry.” I guess what happened to Dr. Lyras. 

“Yes, I have to go home soon because I'm meeting my son who just came home.” Dr. Lyra told him this happily. “Then I'll excuse you.” Dr. Lyra patted Dea's arm and immediately left the hospital. 

Dear only smiles when he sees how enthusiastic a mother wants to meet her child. I want to feel Dearra too. Unfortunately, he would never feel that way because his parents were already dead. 

“Olin.” Merry who from a distance saw Dearra immediately approaching.

“Iya.” He cleaned the dust that was stuck in his uniform. Even though the floor is not dirty, it still reflexively does. 

“You know dr. Lyra?” Merry was so curious. From a distance, he saw Dea chatting with the dr. Lyras. 

“Em .. so his name is dr. Lyra.” Dearra just found out her name. Yesterday after helping out he did not know the name of the middle-aged woman. 

“You don't know the name of the person you were chatting with?” Merry was surprised when Dea looked familiar when chatting earlier. 

“No.” Dearra said what it is.

“Don't tell me if you don't know if dr. Lyra is the wife of dr. Erix Maxton.” Merry made sure to come back.

Dearra rounded her eyes. He was really surprised by what he had just heard. “So if dr. Lyra is the wife of dr. Erix Maxton means she's the wife of the owner of this hospital?” Dearra tried to make sure. 

“Of course.” Merry also confirmed Dearra's words. “Already come quickly, we have to finish our work.” Merry immediately continued his steps.

Dearra remained silent where she stood. Think of something very important. “So he said if he came home because he wanted to see his son. The son of the owner of this hospital is Dean's brother. Does that mean that Brother Dean has come back here?” Dearra's eyes sparkled. He who deduced what he had just known felt so happy. The thought of Dean coming home makes him impatient to meet the man he likes. 

“Olin, fast.” Merry who saw Dearra was silent and did not immediately follow-call her. 

Merry's shrill voice teased the beautiful shadow that had just flashed through Deara's mind. “Iya.” Dearra who was so happy immediately swung her pace following Merry. Resuming his work. Of course, while imagining beautiful things if tomorrow he will meet the man of his heart.
