Agas & Mara Chapter 1

In a corner of the bookstore a woman was busy picking up her plastic-opened book. The stacked book is partly not coated with plastic press, so people are more free to read it. His hand pointed the book at his nose. “Emm ... stronger vanilla aroma.” Mara breathed deeper into the book she was carrying. Then he switched to another book. "The scent of almonds is stronger in this book." 

Calista Aymara, who is often called Mara, a 20-year-old woman who once inhaled the aroma of books. His hobby of reading made him memorize the aroma created from one book to another. Recognize books by the aroma they create 

“Ra, it turns out you are here.” The voice of the woman is heard.  Lili-taman studied Mara at one of the public universities in Malang. He approached Mara who was in the corner of the bookstore. 

“You should know where I am.” Mara again picked up the book and inhaled the smell of the book. Feel more in the aroma created.

Lili squinted her eyes at the action of Mara who inhaled the smell of books. “When did your bad habit stop?” ask her with a quip. 

Mara turned her head and looked lazily at Lili. “What bad habits? Inhaling the scent of books?” He clarified the question asked by his friend. 

“Iya, what else?” 

“Originally you know, sipping the book is a fun thing.” Mara proudly explained to Lili. This habit has been practiced since childhood. The grandmother who always bought him books, made him memorize his books just by smell alone.

“Which there you can intoxication.”

“No poisoning case found inhaling book aroma.” Mara still stands by her stance. Reading business, Mara jagonya. So he can make sure what he does is safe.

“Iya, but later there will be,” replied Lili lazily. 

“Who?” Mara glanced sharply at Lili who was standing beside her.

“You.” Lili laughed as she answered Mara's question. 

“Badness!” Mara hit Lili with the book she was carrying. 

“Again what makes you so fond of inhaling the aroma of books?” Lili did not end up thinking with her friend's favorite. 

Lili shook her head looking at her friend who likened the scent she inhaled. “Where can it be like that?” He still denounced Mara's words.

“Can, because the book contains bezaldehyde content that will emit a scent like almonds.” A male voice sounded amidst the debate between Mara and Lili. That voice also made them look. 

“The vanilla aroma produced comes from vanillin content, the sweet aroma coming out from ethyl benzene and toluene, and the floral aroma produced from ethyl hexanol content.” He continued his explanation of the scent of the book he knew. His steps approached Mara and Lili who were in the corner of the bookstore.

Seeing the stranger talking made Mara stare suspiciously. Not wanting to talk to a foreign man makes Mara pull Lili's hand. 

However, when pulling Lili's body, the body of her friend did not move at all. Mara watched carefully what she saw. It turned out that his friend was staring at the man before him. 

The man in front of him was handsome. White skin, sharp nose and oval face shape framed his face perfectly. With a height of about 180 cm make it look proportional . Black hair as well as its smoothness, adds to its good looks. So naturally his friend was fascinated. 

“Li, come on,” call Mara while pulling Lili's body. 

Lili only resigned as her body was pulled by Mara. However, his eyes continued to look at the man who had just brilliantly explained how the smell of books was created. 

“You always just like that, can't see a little handsome guy,” grumbled Mara annoyed. She continued to pull Lili's body away from the passageway where the man before her.

As the handsome man's gaze disappeared, Lili came to a realization. “Ra, you really ruin the fun!”

Mara took her hand off Lili's arm. “Do not talk to foreign men.” Warn Lili firmly.

“How can you be called a foreign man, Ra? This guy was our college idol.” Lili resentfully explained to Mara. He clearly knew who the man he had just seen was.

Mara knitted her eyebrows together, not understanding Lili's explanation. He just found out that there are idols on campus.

“Don't say you don't know?” Lili moved her face closer to Mara's face. His eyes widened accompanied by his raised eyebrows.
