Regan & Selly Chapter 5

“I don't know,” replied Selly. As he remembered earlier his parents only said if there would be a party celebrating the exhibition. There was no talk of a wedding with Regan.

Lana and Melisa approach Selly and Regan who are still glued, surprised. 

“Congratulations yes, Darling. Mama can't wait to welcome you as a daughter-in-law,” said Lana cheeked. I am glad he will finally get a daughter. 

“Thank you, Ma.” After his shock, now a happy hue was drawn on Selly's face. The thing he was waiting for, finally came. The dream of being Regan's wife will soon be realized. 

Melisa as mama is happy because her daughter is getting married. For years in a relationship, there was a race of misgivings when his son never married. However, now the feeling disappeared, after finding an announcement from her husband. 

Melisa and Lana also congratulate Regan. However, Regan was still riveted. His heart was worried, because it turned out that he was getting married. 

“So when will the wedding be held?” ask a relative. 

“We are planning an engagement next week,” Daniel said.

“Then continue the wedding next month,” added Andrew. 

Regan was getting dumbfounded. No one asked his opinion at all. It was as if it was a one-sided decision from his parents and Selly's parents. Feeling that this decision was very confusing to her, Regan pulled Selly's hand to hear an explanation. He's still suspicious of Selly. Feeling that Selly actually knows it. 

Selly resigned when pulled. He just received a congratulatory note. “Honey, why pull me like that?”

Regan took her to the side of the house. He asked her to speak four eyes. “Do you know if this event increases our wedding plans?” tanyanya made sure to come back. 

“I really don't know, they didn't say anything to me earlier.” 

Regan exhaled rough. They felt that everything was not in accordance with their plan. Her goal of becoming CEO has not been achieved, and now she has to get married. To be honest, Regan wasn't ready for that. 

“Are you not happy we got married?” ask Selly. 

“Not so.” Regan massaged her head feeling her confusion. Don't understand what he's got to say to Selly. 

“Then what?”

“You know, no, we just graduated college. I just worked too. You also know if I'd really like to be CEO. I want to lead the Maxton Company. If I get married, I'm afraid I can't watch you. You know for yourself, right now I'm hard to have time for you, so it will definitely be a problem for us someday.” 

Regan rarely spoke at length. However, this time he did because so that Selly understood if this marriage could not happen. 

“I know that's your goal, I will always support what you want to achieve. So do not make that excuse to refuse this marriage.” Her hand cupped Regan's face, reassuring the man before her. 

“It's not that easy.” Regan is still heavy. She was afraid that going forward would not be what Selly wanted her to be. Moreover, the target has not been reached. 

Selly caught Regan's upset face. A face with a lot of fear that imagines bad things in the future. 

That question always piqued Regan's mind. Until now he was the type of person who rarely said love. For him his attention already represented his feelings. Never did the word love come out of her mouth, although Selly often said it.

 “Can't you feel?” He asked back. 

“Then, why refuse?”

Regan exhaled. It's not that easy to combine all at once. Surely there will be many obstacles considering Selly who sometimes still likes to be angry. 

“I'll support you.” Selly is back to convincing what he will do in the future. 

It's hard for Regan to refuse the marriage, considering it's been a long time since she's been in a relationship with Selly.  Marriage is inevitable and inevitably, he has to live it. No longer can they refuse or avoid.

“Alright,” answers resigned.

“Thank you.” Selly landed a kiss on Regan's cheek. I was happy because Regan finally agreed. It doesn't matter if later Regan will be busy with her work, the most important thing now is Regan wants to get married first.

Got a kiss Regan's cheek blushed in embarrassment. If it usually happens to women, for this couple it is different. During this time Regan was more silent, did not do much to express her love, while Selly always expressed her without shame. 

“Em ...” Bryan's voice cleared his throat making Selly and Regan turn their heads. “You are waiting at the party just here making out,” he lamented. 

“Who's making out?” ask Selly who refused. Her cheeks blushed because it was discovered her sister landed a kiss on Regan's cheek. 

“I see you, so don't be plain pretentious,” sneer Bryan. 

“Already, let's meet papa and mama,” take Regan while pulling Selly's hand. Actually he was also very embarrassed to be discovered by his sister-in-law, but did not want to show. 

“Weird basis, obviously I saw it,” sneered Bryan as his brother left.

“See what?” ask Felix who suddenly came.

“No, not nothing.” Bryan turned to the party. 

“Do not dodge, you see what?” Felix goes after Bryan to find out what happened.

“I saw a ghost,” Bryan replied lazily. 

“Where?” Forehead Felix wrinkled. His eyes looked around. Make sure there are no ghosts around.

“After you.” Bryan spoke and then ran away. Make Felix stand alone running around chasing Bryan. 

The two men chased each other, leaving the guests and family confused. However, Bryan's laughter made them all realize that the two men who often make a melee were joking.
