Agas & Mara Chapter 5

Out of the classroom, Mara and Lili head to the cafeteria. Along the way, Lili continued to explore how Mara met with Agas. Mara was really lazy to tell the shitty meeting this morning, but Lili just kept coming after her.

“We eat first. It takes energy when it comes to telling that shitty guy.”  Mara is looking for a seat. She ordered one bowl of meatballs and one glass of sweetened iced tea, while Lili ordered one chicken noodle and one orange ice. 

“Ayo quickly tell me how the meeting was.” Lily was curious.

“He hit me earlier. Until I made my books fall.” Mara told with her frustration. “It looks like he was late to class, so he rushed.” 

“Ya .. Lord, you are so lucky. If only I had been hit.” Lili closed her eyes imagining that Agas had hit her. “After that he and I were close to each other.” His imagination revolves around imagining his next meeting as in the movies. 

“Mbak Lili trance?” ask the canteen guard's son who delivered Mara and Lili's food.

Mara laughed at the words of the canteen guard's son. “Iya, he's possessed,” he added. 

Lili who was engrossed in imagining a moment of collapse. Opening his eyes, he stared hard. “Enak only ..”

The fifteen-year-old boy immediately ran away. She was scared because Lili was staring intently at him. He hurriedly left Lili and Mara's table. 

Mara who was in front of Lili kept laughing. To make his voice heard around him. Some people noticed the beautiful looking Mara while laughing. The row of teeth neatly arranged, looks add to the beautiful laughter. 

“You are the same!” Lili grabbed the chopsticks and started eating them. 

Not wanting to upset her friend, Mara starts eating. They both savorfully enjoyed eating it while recounting some college assignments.

Two men came to the cafeteria. They looked around to find an empty chair. Lunch hours do make the canteen full, so it is difficult to find empty seats. When the eyes look in all directions. One place makes its own magnet to make footsteps attracted to it. 

“Hai, Ay,” greet Agas on Mara. Tara who followed Agas' steps found her friend approaching Mara and Lili. He can only shake. 

Mara. Actually from her call, Mara already knew who called her that way, but she wanted to make sure again, and her guess was correct, she was the annoying Agas-man she met this morning. 

“Mara alone is called?” tanya Lili pouted in annoyance.

Agas turned to see Lili. Not wanting to be seen greeting Mara alone, Agas finally greeted Lili. “Hai, Lili.” Agas's voice was so melodious, that it made Lili fascinated. “Can we join?”

“Boleh-can,” says Lili fast.

Mara stared lazily and ignored Agas just like that. Without waiting for approval, Agas pulled up the chair next to Mara and immediately sat down. 

Lili still continued to be fascinated by seeing the idol sitting in front of her. Tara who was sitting next to Lili patted Lili on the shoulder. “Eating right!” 

“No Mara and no Tara, they both just as much spoil the fun,” muttered Lili. He went back to eating his food.

“What'd you order, Gas?” ask Tara. He looked at Agas who was sitting in front of him.

“Bakso only,” Agas replied. Agas' hand grabbed Mara's glass and drank it. The sweet taste of Mara lipstick that sticks to the straw makes Agas feel a little sweet lips Mara. 

Mara's eyes are perfectly rounded. He was so upset to see his drink taken. Irritatedly, his hand grabbed Lili's glass. “Li, ask for a drink.”

Not until Mara's hand wants to reach for Lili's glass, Agas gives Mara's drink. “It's got you.”

“I don't want to!”

“Why?”

Agas gasped at Mara's words. This time, Agas was rejected. While all women race to kiss her and perhaps share a drink with her, the girl next to her is not interested at all. 

Tara who saw the scene before her held back a laugh. The reputation of an Agas is at stake. A playboy on his campus, blatantly rejected. 

“Then I'll order again.” Along with the waiter who gives food to Agas and Tara, Agas orders the sweet iced tea back for Mara. 

Mara doesn't care about Agas. He continued eating and when he finished he took Lili away. Don't want to linger with Agas.

“Ay, why go?” Agas' voice was heard calling out to Mara. 

Mara's steps stopped. He looked around and rightly guessed, it turned out that all eyes were on him. The name 'Ay' which Agas used to describe the word 'ayang' which means dear. So everyone would have thought Mara was Agas' lover.

“My name is Mara.” Mara turned around by explaining firmly. He doesn't want people around to misunderstand. 

“Yes, Ay-Aymara.”Agas recited the name of Mara by giving a pause, as if giving the affirmation of the name does not mean double as Mara thought.

Mara's cheeks warmed up, spitting out a red hue. His white face made the color visible. Shame to think Agas called her 'darling' to him. 

Not wanting to linger, he finally left Agas and Tara just like that. His hand pulled Lili who was still confused about where to be taken by Mara.

Mara's steps to the library. Places where Mara likes to visit. Lili who followed Mara was still so curious, why did Mara just leave. 

“Why did you leave when Agas came?” 

“Malas.” Mara answered while selecting a book. 

“Awas, lazy later you like!” seduhi smiled meaningfully.

Mara.  “Like that playboy guy you mean?” tanyanya as she raised her chin.

“Yes who else.” 

“He's a playboy and I don't want to get stuck with him.” There is no doubt a sense of admiration for the good looks of Agas in Mara's heart, but she does not want to be enamored with the famous playboy Agas. She is afraid that she will have to date a playboy who can break her heart at any time. 

“Take it easy, we are not his taste, because what Agas usually looks for is rich and beautiful women.” Lili already knows a lot about Agas. Of all the former Agas are the ranks of rich and beautiful women on campus. 

I can't be confident when I see her approaching me because I like her. It could have been just a coincidence. The cafeteria was also very full.

Mara thinks it's too early to think Agas likes her. Too confident if Agas likes it. But he will try to keep his heart from being trapped by the charm of an Agastya.

Agas who saw Mara leave, smiled. Mara's pretty face with a red hue so fascinated him, the more he was curious about the girl he met at the bookstore yesterday. 

“He has no car, he does not live in elite boarding house, and he is not from the official child.” Tara's voice filled the silence while eating. 

“It looks like you've been looking for complete information.”

“Which obviously he opens your taste.” Tara insinuates Agas who is already famous by choosing a girlfriend from the top. 

Agas smiled in response to Tara's words. Although Mara is not her type, but there is a special attraction that she feels. 

“We'll see later.” Agas resumed his meal and thought of a way to approach Mara.
