On a clear morning, Shafira again stepped foot into a class she had not attended for one week.
Long time not in school turned out to make Shafira quite missed the school atmosphere. Missing the atmosphere, the nagging of the teachers, the sound of music blending beautiful vocals in the training room and of course his friends.
Walk to the classroom with shady trees on the left and right side of Shafira jajaki. There are special lanes for pedestrians, there are also special lanes for bicycles.
The wind blew gently and the bright shining sunlight warmed his body. Shafira let out a deep sigh as she closed her eyes, feeling the morning air fill her left and right lungs and exhaled slowly with a line of smile on her lips.
Along the way Shafira seemed to smile until her steps stopped when she saw her three friends who were walking a few steps in front of her. They seemed to talk and occasionally laughed cheerfully.
“Yes, that guy in universal studio who I think is more cute. Uda lo bales DM her aja.” Fia's voice sounded loud once then nudged Nara's engrossed arm with a flat object in her hand.
“You mean ice cream, what the hell?” Nara in her style asked.
“Iyaaa, which is similar malvin.”
“Sstttt... Don't screw up fia, there will be something dread.” Nara lowered some of her voice.
Shafira was more curious, he got closer to his three best friends and set his steps so that he could still steal their chatter.
“Lo wa malvin again? How'd he respond to gag?” this time Ira spoke.
Nara shook her head with spoiled pursed lips. Slowly he showed his phone screen to his two best friends and compactly they screamed and laughed.
“Ciee,...” exciting Fia and Ira together. The one in the cie-in looked blushed in embarrassment and covered his face with both hands.
Shafira began to stop her steps. He tried to digest the chatter of his three friends. One thing that disturbs Shafira's mind right now, where are her three best friends this week?
Not once did they ask Shafira news or say hello to Shafira. Are they starting to forget that they have Shafira's friends?
And Malvin?
Why are they talking about Malvin?
Shafira pulled out her phone and connected it to the earphones. He also tuned the jamg jedug music with a hard volume and then clogged the earphones into both ear holes. No sound other than the sound of drums and electric guitar with a shrill vocal sound.
It's better, he thought.
He extended his steps, overtaking his three best friends and behaved as if he did not see his three best friends.
“That's fira huh?” fia's voice sounded.
Nara and Ira looked at each other with tense expressions. It was possible that Shafira heard their chat.
“Then gag nih?” ask Ira later.
“Ya already, you follow gih. Find out first, she's horrified what?” Nara pushed Fia forward first.
“Lah why not elo?!” Fia's pushing Ira.
“Ish really push each other anyway?!” nara protest.
He crossed his arms in front of his chest with an annoyed expression.
“Ya already, later also met in this class.” Ira shook Fia's hand which was still holding her arm.
“Ya already, but lo who nyapa him first.” Nara gave the order.
Ira just sniffed her shoulders and continued her steps that her two best friends followed.
Arriving at the class, Malvin was seen removing the writing on the blackboard. He only turned his head when he heard the sound of Shafira's footsteps and then became indifferent as usual.
Shafira immediately went to her chair, put the bag down and sat there. From his place he looked at Malvin's straight back. He was still thinking about what his three friends were talking about.
A pal?
I don't know, Shafira started to doubt.
Finished cleaning the board, Malvin walked to his desk, picked up the biology package book and walked over to Shafira.
Shafira was still in her place, with her mind inexplicable and gaze fixed on her blank slate.
Malvin knocks on Shafira's desk, somehow, until Shafira realizes his presence. When Shafira turned her head, Malvin gestured for Shafira to remove the earphones covering her ear hole.
“Why?” Shafira is cold, not as usual. He took off one of his earphones and his gaze turned to Malvin.
Malvin opened a page of the book that he marked with an ash-color paper barrier, typical of Malvin. “This is the job of the teacher. You can see the description, I wrote.” So said.
Shafira notices Malvin's neat writing about some of the tasks that must be done when Shafira is suspended.
“Hem,” is just the answer.
It seems Malvin was a little surprised to see Shafira's attitude. The girl who was usually timid with a reddened face upon meeting him, this time was extremely cold. What made Shafira change in the past few nights, but a few days ago when she met at the cafe, she seemed ordinary.
“Udah!” his eyes were glaring as if driving Malvin away.
“Okey.” Closed the book hard and went back to his desk. From his place Malvin still noticed the dreamy-looking Shafira.
"Lo why fir?" whispers in the heart. As if looking at Shafira who is different than usual. Or maybe something is missing.
Not long after, the bell went off. The students started to enter not least the three girls who were staring awkwardly at Shafira.
“Hay fir?” greet Fia who then sat on the bench behind Shafira.
Shafira only smiled faintly, too reluctant to mince words. In line with her, there was Nara who started to sit and followed Ira behind her. They just throw a smile at Shafira.
From the corner of his eyes, Shafira could see the three girls were busy with their phones and looked at each other like they were giving codes. Maybe they're texting, ah. Shafira wanted to take a break from thinking about her three friends.
A middle-aged woman knocks on the door of the classroom, “Morning class..” her greeting upon entering the classroom.
“Morning mam,” all exclaimed in reply to Miss Cindy, their English teacher.
“Okey class, first of all I want ask to all of you, do you know Romeo and Juliet?” showing the book with the cover in his hand.
“Huhuuyyy..” exclaim one of the students that other students cheered on.
“Well, I think you know it. We will learn about literature and romantic rhymes. Are you interested?” Write the subject title today.
"Juliet, could you be mine?" cetus was a student who stood in the style of a poet.
Back the students cheered as Miss Cindy turned around with a look that swept across the classroom with her wide smile.
"Grow up first kid, I'll be waiting for you." the ideal that makes the teenager's face reddened and cheered cheerfully.
The students laughed at the drama in their class this morning.
Miss Cindy's lessons are always fun, the material she teaches is not just about tenses and others. Many variations of learning that make students easily absorb what he conveys.
“OK, make a group consist of 4 people. And it’s your task.” His word then, pointing at the stacked paper on his desk and ready to be spread.
The students began to boisterously choose their group.
“Fir, come join.” Call Fia to the friend in front of her.
Shafira had already picked up the book and stationery, then moved from her seat. The three friends were waiting with smiles growing to welcome Shafira.
Darling, Shafira went further than her friends. He preferred to approach Diana who was sitting in the corner alone.
“Gue join yes.” Said Shafira while putting her book in front of Diana.
“Hah?” Diana simply gawked while confirming the position of her glasses.
Diana and Shafira did know each other because they were a choir group, but still did not expect that Shafira would come up to him and leave her friends who were staring cynically.
“Bo-leh.” Sahut later.
“Okey, you can do it anywhere. And collect the assignments at my desk before going home.”
“Yes mam.” Sahut the students.
Not long after the class leader began to share their duties. Each group is assigned a task for them to do.
“You two only?” malvin asked Diana and Shafira.
“Iya, you want to join?” Diana offers and Shafira is silent, as if unconcerned by Malvin's response.
Malvin did not respond, he again handed out tasks to another table and sat down and joined his male friends.
“Ke music room yuk in.” Take Shafira and move.
“Ngak in perpus aja fir?” protest but stay, that's Diana.
“Music equals rhyme and poetry coexists. Who knows, we could make a song.” Timpal Shafira.
“Iya also sih.” Diana immediately chased after Shafira and lined her steps.
While crossing his three friends, Shafira just glanced with the corner of his eyes, see, he started to get caught off guard.
