Dream Smile

Dream Smile
Episode 9

'Newly I know his name is Akram, ' my inner self.

After he passed and talked to his friend. I now choose to continue my duties, suppress my embarrassment and act as usual, more precisely nothing happened. Then I re-arranged some of the ditroley items, even though the item was actually arranged neatly.

My head was shaking hoping for the heat on my face to dissipate for a moment.

"Well, what's wrong with you?" said Mr. Roni reprimanded while patting my shoulder, but I felt he surprised me because now I was surprised to drop an item on the floor.

"Sir, sir" I said quickly as a stiff grimace stared at him.

"I think I'm gonna have a convict?" chirps.

"What Sir!" pekikku did not accept. It's good to say sawan, whether I'm stuck in the genie, my mind is upset.

Mr. Roni giggled because it managed to piss me off.

"What kind of entertainment is Bang Roni?"

That sound? my inner.

His steps were getting closer, and now right standing behind me suddenly made my hair stand up. Ah, sure enough, this is behind me. The expression of my face is now like a person who wants to ble, aka want meweek.

"Jeeze, even cry!" said Mr. Roni jerking me.

And from the back suddenly appeared the head of Mr. Akram who looked at me.

"Astagfirefull!" my words shortened back in shock to rub my chest.

"Mr, ngagetin!" my lamented and avenged by it. While Mr. Roni is now head bobbing.

"Mas Akram shif this morning?" ask Mr. Roni who is now starting to talk with Mr. Akram.

"Yes Bang, this week I'm in the morning shift."

I sniffed and re-occupied myself with fiddling with the cleaning tools that were in the Troley. Trying to find busyness to avoid the incident of the wrong greeting that had taken place, this shame in fact still dominates me.

Mr. Roni is now gone, had time to go to the laundry place. But now I glance, it turns out Mr. Akram is standing in place while playing his phone. I who was caught glancing at him now he looks back at me. Damn it, my mind.

"At home here? How was the internship day?" ask her while tucking the phone into her pocket.

"Fun," I replied with a look back staring at the troley.

"Well, then when is your schedule at the front office?"

I tried to remember, then turned to her to answer, "Tomorrow."

A slanted smile was imprinted on his lips. "Good, get ready to meet me there tomorrow" he said.

I was a little astonished to digest he said, and just nggeh, he said this week morning shift . That means he'll be my senior in the next two weeks. And as I was about to speak, I realized that his steps were getting further and further away.

And today came, I was prepared with a neat appearance and I prepared myself as best I could. As the name implies, the Front office is at the forefront of directly meeting with hotel customers, both for newly arrived and guests who complete the procedure to book a room until out of the room, or better known as check-in or check-out.

I arrived early, fifteen minutes before work. I stood at the reservation table occasionally observing and reading the hotel guest data form sheet, while the receptionist who had not changed shifts gave me some input and a little explanation.

Until the time of the shift change has arrived, a figure I know lately appeared. The approaching footsteps seem charismatic, neat appearance and supported by his attitude, his appearance that impressed supple. Evidently every time he passed people, he would start greeting and of course accompanied by a smile.

"Well, please this is moved there," said Ms. Bella who unfolded my focus.

I immediately obeyed Mbak Bella's words to take some form and put it on a special rack.

When I turned towards her looking perfectly decorated smile on her lips, it felt like the aura of morning spirit radiated to her to make the atmosphere of this morning bright cheerful.

"In the morning" said we were all so visible, I just moved my lips without a sound, even so the happy aura was also transmitted to me.

Morning operational hours began, now the officers who are here are busy with their respective tasks. Similarly, I was copying the guest book, not realizing that Mr. Akram had been observing me.

"What's up, sir?" I said look at him. Up close I glanced at the name tag saying Akram Zaidan.

"This time you come with me to bring guests," he said.

And I see it's true that at the reception desk there are guests doing the check-in procedure. I also nodded towards Mr. Akram.

It was nothing, Mr. Akram ordered me to come with him because I was given the task of carrying some of the guest luggage to the room to be occupied. Pretty boring this time, but the name of the exercise works, I keep trying not to complain. By climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor, I was assigned to carry a suitcase that was 24 inch in size. Understandably, because the hotel where I interned is not available elevator. The third floor is dedicated to standard rooms.

Mr. Akram has walked ahead, while carrying the luggage of guests he also showed the location of the room. While I walked behind following them while lifting heavy weights.

"Not help?" whispered Sarah's on the 2nd floor.

She wanted to, but wanted to be professional, so I shook my head and said, "thank you."

I continued my steps up the stairs, even though sweat poured down my thinning I should be able to. Although the legs feel weak not powered. "Prophe Ayu, stay a little while longer," I murmured with encouragement.

And yabs, I have now reached the end of the stairs. A sense of relief instantly burst within. Pause for a moment, I now set my breath that felt stingy.

"Wow, morning exercise" said Sandy who appeared from the direction of the guest room while carrying a mop.

I shake my head. "Lumayan is tired," I complained as I wiped the sweat. "Eh, where was Mr Amkran guest?" I said clingak - clinguk.

"I look that way" said Sandy, pointing at the clue.

"Thank you, I'm there" I said, dragging the suitcase into the room used by guests.

Upon arrival in the room, I entered and I saw Mr. Akram explaining some of the room facilities as well as the facilities available at the Kartika hotel. After explaining I heard Mr. Akram start saying goodbye and said, "Have a nice day."

We walked back to the reception. When he was held by Mr. Akram stopped his steps, so I also followed his steps.

"Why stop sir?" many wonder. "Is there anything left."

"There is this" he said after reaching into his pants pocket and showing me the folds of blue money.

My eyes blinked a few times, not understanding what it meant. But he smiled at me who increasingly did not understand what he meant. He pulled my hand and placed the fold of money on my open palm, and said, "This is called a tip."

"Accept," he continued as he walked ahead.

I looked up, and stared at the money in my grasp. This much, I murmured.

It's really surprising, because I'm just a schoolboy who rarely holds large amounts of money. I also followed Mr. Akram walking in line, "Bapak.gak kidding, this is for me. From the guest you brought?" many streak.

He chuckles. "Yes to you, you said interview time wanted tips. Well now in addition to FB in FO can also be dapetin right?" he said while raising eyebrows.
