Dream Smile

Dream Smile
Episode 20's

Rain was falling when the event took place. My heart is chanting prayers, hopefully when the event is over the rain has subsided.

This time the event is the inauguration of a new company, which is present are some local officials as well of course employees of the company itself. Although I only serve the invitees present it does not dampen my intention to listen and learn knowledge from those who are experts also of course are successful people. Well, the next time I can be contagious like those who are successful, my mind.

I've been so memorized by the way I work as a waitress and don't need to be asked by my superiors, once the meal has started I now immediately do serving menu because this time is no longer a buffet but each menu must be delivered one by one to invited guests.

Tiring enough but all seemed lost because the hospitality of the smiling invited guests also said thanks when I drove and put their food menu on the table, it means they really appreciate my hard work.

Almost ten o'clock in the evening my work and events were over, but the rain was still pouring down on this place. It was his intention to go home I wanted to order ojek online but with a situation like this it seems impossible to get the transportation.

I sighed as I pulled my phone out of the bag. Sandy, that name is now on my phone screen as soon as my phone is on. There were some Wa messages from him asking if I had gone home or not, got out of the hotel at what time and was going home to ride what transportation?

My fingers were now typing a reply to him, I told him that I was caught in the rain and was still in the hotel area.

Shortly after the message was sent I now get a reply that Sandy just call me.

"Assalamualaikum yes Sandy?"

"Wa'alaikum salam. Come on you don't go anywhere first, let me come get you."

Instantly without waiting for my answer Sandy turned off the phone and now my phone appears a notification message.

from Sandy

I'm picking you up.

I started thinking considering the situation, the possibility of getting an online motorcycle taxi is impossible whereas Sandy's residence is not far from here, so I now choose to agree to his offer because if you think about it again the day is getting night.

Soon I walked out, not wanting Sandy to wait for me too long. As soon as I passed the hotel lobby the sound of someone shouting from behind now calling me, I suddenly startled now stop my steps and turn to the source of the sound.

"Pak Akram," I said.

He walked quickly until he finally arrived and stood in front of me.

"Why Sir?" manya panic.

"Let's go home with me, you definitely haven't been able to transport to go home right?" said it.

I'm shaking.

"Yes already then wait especially, the rain hunt is getting heavier," said Mr. Akram walking ahead.

"But Sir?"

"But what, there is no need to hesitate we are in the same direction," he said for a moment looking at me, looking at me, because I did not follow him now Mr. Akram walked back towards me while pulling my wrist to follow his steps towards the parking lot.

As soon as he arrived at the parking lot Mr. Akram immediately reached out his helmet to me and said, "I only have one coat, we wear both of them."

There is a bad feeling that surrounds my heart that is telling Mr. Akram honestly that there is Sandy who came to pick me up or said nothing, remained silent until Mr. Akram drove me home.

"Well let's go up," said Mr. Akram who turned out to have climbed on his motorcycle.

I'm nagging, I'm nodding, with a doubtful step I began to climb up the motorcycle seat Mr. Akram and of course with a heavy heart now I ignore Sandy who smiled knotty looking at me until I did not see him again when it began to infiltrate in the back of the coat pak Akram's.

Mr. Akram without saying anything now began to drive his motorbike out of the hotel area. The motor drove even at a slow speed because the rain is now increasingly pouring on us. My back is also wet, fortunately I put my shoes in a plastic bag.

"The faster, the more willing to take shelter first?" asked Mr. Akram whose voice sounded faint because I was in his coat and again could not see the situation on the streets.

"As for you," I said.

The motor now starts to pull over and stop at a shophouse. I also immediately came down from the top of the motorbike followed by Mr. Akram. The weather is really not friendly, in addition to heavy rain now also the wind blows strong.

"You go ahead but I'm afraid to harm you" said Mr. Akram, who now rubbed his face wet with rainwater.

"Father, sir, the wind is also very cool," I said with restraint my body that was shivering with cold.

Mr. Akram was surprised to see me so, his hands stretched out rubbing my cheeks. "You're cold as a gini?" he said he sounded worried.

Immediately Mr. Akram opened the coat he was still wearing, then took off his jacket and gave it to me to wear.

"No need," my sergeant but Mr. Akram still forced.

"I don't want to be blamed later for bringing people's children to death cold," he said pulling a jacket zipper up to the chest.

Mr. Akram's eyes then circulate, around here it is quite quiet maybe because the rain and the clock is almost late so not many people come out of the house. Now Mr. Akram's eyes are fixed on the shoulder side of the road precisely is a tent stall and immediately he said while pointing at the place. "We're looking for something to eat there first."

"But I'm not hungry sir" I said.

Mr. Akram looked at me. "While waiting a bit subsided we look for warmth first there," he said then climbed up on the seat of his motorcycle, of course after he wore his coat.

My mouth was slightly open, surprised. Find warmth, what does it mean? my question is in my heart.

"Come on!" Invite Mr. Akram who has turned on his motorbike. With doubt and wonder, I followed his orders.

The motor drove in a rotating direction at the turn and now stopped at the tent stall. Mr. Akram walked in the lead and I followed him from behind. I noticed in this tent stall there are some people who are enjoying some types of food presented on the table.

After Mr. Akram told me to sit down, he now told the shop owner. "Make two glasses of warm ginger milk."

Suddenly I patted my forehead and just did not the warmth in question is the menu presented from the owner of the tent stall, the, what is none other than and not is two glasses of warm ginger milk that has now been presented on the table.
