"On that promise, uncle lied right?"
Sean knitted his brows, "What lie?"
"I mean, any promise that comes out of my mouth to that girl, won't be a promise of death, as long as I don't mean to promise to die"
"You're married Aldrich. The system will be different"
"Not different, it's the same. I've seen that unlucky guy*n do a death promise to mama"
"Woah, you still call your father a shit man*n? His heart would definitely hurt hearing this. Well, let's just say it's not true because I want to scare you a little. But about you accidentally marrying that human girl, I'm not lying at all"
Aldrich suddenly woke up, "I'll make sure of it myself"
"Please"
Like that, Aldrich left the room and intended to leave the bar.
After making sure Maribel was completely unconscious, Griffin poked Maribel's hand against her neck, pressed against her back and swiftly lifted her up.
Griffin rushed Maribel out of the bar.
Aldrich just got out of the elevator. His somewhat lethargic gaze was accidentally met by a man carrying a girl in a short red dress. Making her slightly exposed white smooth calf, revealed. It immediately stole Aldrich's attention. Not because of how smooth the girl's skin was.
But...
It was because she recognized very clearly who that beauty was.
"Wait" Aldrich sprinted quickly and held the man's shoulder.
Griffin stopped his steps and turned to look at someone who had just stopped him, "Sorry, what's wrong?"
Griffin doesn't recognize Aldrich.
So did Aldrich who didn't recognize him.
"Where are you taking this girl?"
Griffin's eyes flickered in surprise, "I don't think it's any of your business"
Aldrich's cold lips curled sharply, "Why is that none of my business?"
Griffin smiled with eyes fed up with the stranger in front of him who came directly to interfere.
"He's my girlfriend. Just fell asleep, so I'm taking her home"
"..."
"So please you snitch, you can step aside" Griffin pulled his shoulder that Aldrich was holding and walked back forward.
But how annoying it is.
Once again Aldrich restrained his shoulders, holding him to a stop.
Griffin let out a coarse breath, "Haa, you—" He was just about to curse only his throat was immediately choked when he heard Aldrich speak.
"She's my wife, how can you be your girlfriend?"
The deg!
Aldrich's cold glittering black eyes stared straight at the bottom of Griffin's eyes, "You just lied. You must have bad intentions for my wife, right?"
"How can she be your wife? It was you who lied. This woman obviously came to my blind date because she was single"
"Ah, so a blind date. That means she's not your girlfriend yet. Isn't this your first time meeting hum?"
Griffin's out of words.
"Haa, you're obviously lying. But still dodging" Aldrich's cold lips curled up with a mocking smile.
Griffin's eyes grew in anger, "Then how is it different from yours? Coming to claim to be her husband?"
Aldrich doesn't know why. Her eyes were each time highlighting the arms of the man who was embracing the beauty in his carry. Aldrich felt his heart cool.
Aldrich did not answer. His hand quietly moved making a small puff of fire and threw it right at the man's leather shoes.
Smelling the smell of smoke, Griffin reflexively glanced down, "A-pi..?"
Griffin spontaneously shouted, tearing up trying to extinguish the small fire that came out of nowhere— just appeared in the sole of his shoes.
Taking advantage of the moment, Aldrich immediately seized the beauty into his arms.
The beauty that her uncle said she had accidentally married.
Before leaving, Aldrich patted Griffin on the shoulder and said, "Remember this, I'm his secret husband"
Aldrich blinked his eyes at Griffin and immediately went to bring Maribel.
"Damn!" Bait Griffin. After kicking his shoes against the wall, he finally found the fire on the sole of his shoe had been extinguished and saw his charred front half. He was thankful that his feet were not burning.
"What a weird thing, where did this fire come from?"
Suddenly a message appeared on his phone. That's none other than...
'How?'
'Did you succeed?'
Reading the message, Griffin let out a heavy sigh.
'A man took it'
'Say she is her husband'
'So, your niece is married?'
Breta, who was still on the sofa that night, read the message, immediately aghast from the position of her bed on the arm of the sofa.
Then another message appeared.
'Sorry, if it's true your niece is married'
'Then we don't have to deal anymore'
Breta immediately typed in a reply.
'The man was obviously a random person who was taking a chance'
'Why did you just take it off?'
'Remember, my nephew is single. She's not married yet'
Reading the reply, Griffin smiled in satisfaction.
'I know'
Breta immediately replied with a furious feeling.
'If you know why you let him?'
A reply from Griffin appeared.
'This guy's a little tough'
'Again, there's no need to rush'
'There is still tomorrow'
Breta throws her phone at the end of the sofa, feeling very upset, "Damn"
Again, the plan is in disarray.
