Looking at the hurried Maribel, Callie simply nodded in response, "Good ma'am"
In the castle, Egbert had already been waiting for Maribel's nose stem for almost half a day. But the girl was completely invisible. It was late in the afternoon, Aldrich really didn't know where the waiter was going. Though this was his first day of work, Aldrich already felt very disappointed.
In the living room, Aldrich sat on the sofa with his cell phone in his hand. Time and again he contacts Sean with the intention of complaining about his servant girl who was clearly chosen specifically by Sean for him. But the call is not connected at all. It is always confirmed by being busy.
Maribel just arrived in front of the castle fence with a taxi. He couldn't have gone there in his expensive red car, because that would only have arisen Aldrich's suspicions.
He stepped down and the driver picked up his large suitcase in the back trunk.
The driver handed Maribel the light brown suitcase.
"Thank you sir" said Maribel. Then he took out some money to pay for it.
Afterwards he pulled out a suitcase and rushed into the castle.
Upon arrival in the living room, Maribel was immediately greeted by the handsome face of Aldrich who looked so sour. The man sat on the sofa, his hands folded in front of his chest and his gloomy-looking black eyes looked at him coldly, "Where have you been?"
Maribel looked nervous in her standing position. A small smile with a guilty feeling she replied, "That's.I just got back from packing things"
Aldrich's sharp cold gaze did not change. He immediately glanced at the suitcase that Maribel was carrying.
"No notice at all?" His pair of eyebrows clutched, his eyes pucker deeply.
Instead of being afraid, Maribel's heart actually jumped up and down feeling that Aldrich who behaved like that increasingly looks charming in his eyes.
'Ah, how cold, why does he look so handsome?' Maribel screamed hysterically in her heart, making her eyes sparkle in a smile of amazement.
Aldrich frowned in surprise, he had not expected to see such an expression on the girl who instead of being afraid of facing her cold anger, was smiling alone like she was enjoying something.
Aldrich let out a cold snort, "I'm angry right now, but you can still smile?"
Maribel pressed her lips together not to laugh. After all, Aldrich's irritated expression looked adorable in his eyes, "Sorry sir, I didn't mean to"
Looking at him who was still smiling, Aldrich scowled his temple while taking a depressed breath. It seems like his face is a problem.
'If you know this, Uncle Sean should have found me a middle-aged female servant instead of a young girl like her' Inner Aldrich, looking at Maribel who was still smiling looking at her.
Aldrich let out a heavy sigh, waving his hand saying, "Ah come on, forget it. This time I forgive. Next time remember to ask my permission first if you want to go, you understand?"
"Understand master" Maribel smiled sweetly.
Aldrich got up from the couch, "Follow me. Will show you where your room is"
Maribel nodded and followed Aldrich who was walking in front of him. All the way behind the man, his brown eyes did not stop shining with a smile looking at his handsome sturdy back.
"The castle has many rooms. Five guest rooms, five for the waiter and one for the master room on the second floor" Aldrich explained, "That's my room"
Maribel was not so surprised to learn that this old castle had many rooms. From how wide and large he looked, he had already expected it.
Aldrich stopped and pointed to one of the doors at the end of the hallway, "It was a workspace that once belonged to my father"
Maribel glanced at the spot Aldrich was pointing at.
"It used to belong to my father's castle, but now it's entirely mine"
"Ah, so this place formerly belonged to your father"
"Your family must be very rich. Are all vampires rich like you?" Ask Maribel. He remembers taking S2 abroad once when some of his friends took him to the cinema to watch a fantasy romance film about vampires.
In the film there is a race of vampires with several family groups and almost all of them are very rich.
"Not really" Aldrich replied, shaking his head, "Just like you humans, some of us are also middle class and even down economy" he continued.
"Ah, so so. How do you live among humans? Did you guys secretly buy some bags of human blood as an intake?"
It is common knowledge that vampire food is blood. Only Maribel was a little curious how they got it.
"Ah, would you kidnap them and bite them like they do in the movies?" Somehow Maribel's imagination went wild.
Aldrich spun back, grabbed the girl's skinny body and cabed her to the wall.
Maribel gasped in shock to find that her back had hit the wall and Aldrich's two sturdy arms were locking her up, leaving no room for her to leave.
"T-Mister Aldrich this..." Maribel was nervous. Their faces met so close. He could even stare at the purplish green veins lining the handsome face of the man that instantly made him swallow the saliva, feeling like extending his finger and down the beauty.
Aldrich looked at the girl deeply, sharply and coldly, "What do you think?"
Maribel's brown eyeballs, which had been focused on looking at Aldrich's good looks, immediately turned to look at the man's black eyes, "How is it?"
Aldrich's hand traced Maribel's slender neckline, "What if it's true?"
"..." - ".Maribel blinked her eyes plainly.
"The fact that we're abducting people and sucking their blood?" For a moment Aldrich's black eyes flashed red. His fingers were still dancing on the girl's neck.
Maribel's brown eyeballs clenched and his breath slightly restrained feeling every touch of Aldrich's cold finger along his neck.
"So you did it?"
Aldrich grinned coldly, "Do you think?"
Maribel's lashes out, "I think you're lying" Her smile looked distressed.
Aldrich laughed coldly. His blunt canine teeth instantly turned sharp and he tilted his head. Her wide-open mouth drew closer to the girl's slender neck.
The scene made Maribel clench her hands. His heart rate became tight to irregular.
"Do you think I'm still lying?"
When the man spoke. Maribel could feel her warm breath blowing against her neck.
Clenching her mouth, Maribel did not answer. He just tightened his jaw, like he was holding something.
Aldrich lifted his head and stared right at that pretty face, "Why silence? Are you scared?"
Maribel.
"That's. Can you not get too close?"
Aldrich frowned, "..."
Maribel bit her lower lip saying, "That's.if you get too close like this.it's really not good for my heart" she said, sounding a bit frustrating.
