The Return of the World's Destructive Hero

The Return of the World's Destructive Hero
Chapter 8: First Day of School

One day after finishing the exam, Satoru went to the academy and looked at the notice board. He was looking for his name and the class he was going to occupy.

"Oh there! let's see I'm in class 1-E"

After knowing his class, Satoru immediately went to his classroom. While in class, he was greeted by all the students in the class strangely.

Eh? did I do anything weird?

Just ignore it. My goal here is just to increase my knowledge of this world.

All the students in the class were whispering to each other and no one came close to Satoru.

"Hey, why is that person in this class?"

"Truly, isn't he the one who fought with commander Serge-sama?"

"What did the school really think?"

When no one approached Satoru, there was a man who came and sat next to him.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Eh? Ah, naw... I'm just nervous"

"really? Ah, I'm sorry I missed you, introduce my name Taiju"

"Shin Satoru, greetings too"

"Eh? You're a noble!? I-I'm sorry for my disrespect!"

"No, I'm just a regular guy. In my place everyone has a surname"

"Be-so yeah..."

The lessons begin when the teacher enters the classroom. On the first day they just do introductions and go around the school area. Look around at the learning clubs in the school and various other things.

"Hey, Satoru-san why are you in E-class without a sign? Wasn't your ability so great in the battle exam yesterday?"

Satoru who knew nothing about it showed a look of astonishment and confusion.

"Eh? is there something wrong with E-class?"

"Huh? don't you know about the unmarked class differences and there?"

"What?"

In this school there are two categories that distinguish students, namely having a sign and not. The sign is on the right sleeve of the school emblem. The people who have marks are the ones who have good magic abilities. While those who are not are people whose magic abilities are not good.

Because it sometimes happens a discrimination from the party who has a symbol.

Listening to Taiju's explanation, Satoru could only nod his head and appeared to be indifferent to it.

"That's so. Forget it, I don't care about that anyway"

"Eh? So what brought you to this school?"

"Learning about world knowledge. I don't care about magic and stuff"

Taiju could only be amazed by the determination of Satoru who did not care about the difference. They arrived at a training building, below precisely on the training field there was a big brother who was doing battle training.

"Their movements are slow..."

At the sight of the fight Satoru muttered and inadvertently his murmur was heard by someone on the field.

"Hoo~ hey you're there, you said that the movement is slow, right?"

Hearing that, Satoru innocently answered the words of his upperclassman.

"Yes, if you fight a D rank monster like a green wolf, I think they'll die within 3 minutes"

When Satoru said that, the upperclassman who spoke to him laughed loosely.

"Haha! You are so attractive! Do you want to practice sparring?"

"Maybe"

"My name is Rey von Leonheart"

"Shin Satoru, please guide him"

Both of them were holding wooden swords. When the cue began to be shouted Satoru quickly moved in front of Rey and pointed the tip of his sword at the neck of his opponent.

"I think the fight is over"

Rey sat down and said nothing in shock. The people from Rey's class wonder who the new student really is.

"Who is he really?"

"No, more importantly look! He has no sign!"

Satoru reached out his hand and helped Rey stand up.

"Hey, which class are you in Satoru-san?"

"I'm in class 1-E"

"That's it, next time please teach me to practice!"

At that moment everyone was shocked to see Rey bowing her head to Satoru who was a new disciple even more so without a mark. Even so, they also could not comment after seeing Satoru's great ability.

"Ah~ alright, please don't lower your head. I'm uncomfortable with it"

"I'm sorry, then can you come to my house after school?"

At that time Satoru only realized that the person in front of him was a noble.

"No, sorry but I have to turn it down"

"Be-so yeah, but if it's at school do you want to train me?"

"Well, if it's okay at school"

They also split up because Satoru had to continue the show around his school.

Rey's classmates immediately arrived and asked about the incident just now.

"Hey Rey, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but he's so great! why is he in class without a sign?"

At that time the teacher who taught their class interrupted the conversation.

"That's because he has no magic energy at all. So the principal put him in the class without a mark"

Everyone was shocked when they heard that.

"No magic!?"

"So how could he move so fast?"

"Did he use a skill?"

Rey who fought with Satoru denied that Satoru used a skill.

"No, he didn't use any skills at all. At that moment I could only see him moving slowly walking closer towards me and pointing his sword at my neck"

"Why then can't you avoid it?"

"Do you think that just by being able to see the movements of a person with magic eyes, your body can respond so much that it can move and avoid moving so quickly?"

On his first day of school, Satoru finds a friend and upperclassman who respects him. He continued to walk around the school to various places.

Clubs that perform alchemy and make various kinds of potions, clubs that learn about attack magic, clubs that practice strengthening magic and much more.

But there was one thing Satoru had to do, which was to find an inn. There's no way he's got to sleep outside every day.

When returning from school Satoru immediately went to the company where Airi. He asked to find a house that he could rent, about the money he would pay him considering he still had quite a lot of money from the gift of Airi's father and the sale of monster materials.

The material from the Black Viper is very expensive and it keeps Satoru's finances safe for now. Airi was willing to help her to find a house that could be rented and it was good that the house was close to the academy.
