The Return of the World's Destructive Hero

The Return of the World's Destructive Hero
Chapter 28: What's Wrong?

In the morning near the gate, Satoru felt a gaze of hatred that was so strong from the blond knight before. Trying to ignore the right, he helped lift the merchandise into the car.

"Is everything uncle?" Ask Satoru to the merchants.

"Yes, thank you son" said the traders.

They began to set off towards the dungeon city, Satoru was on the backmost train alone, while the women in for the two became the front and center guards.

"Huft, I seem to be hated for no reason here..." Satoru complains on the train.

"Hahah, just relax, son! women like that are everywhere. They have high self-esteem, making it difficult to accept others" said the horseman who heard Satoru's complaint.

"Well I know, but it still feels pretty weird..."

Besides, I've never been hated by a woman for no reason like this...

They passed through the forest and rested near the river because it was getting dark. During the trip there was no incident and it was quite calming.

"I hope that throughout the journey nothing bad happens" murmured Satoru staring at the night sky as he slept on the roof of the train.

Although he does like to fight, but if it comes to the safety of others, Satoru prefers safe travel, because he does not want to involve someone in danger.

"Son! come down, we'll have dinner" said the horse-driver who was beside Satoru on the way.

"Yes!"

Satoru ate with the merchants with a big smile on his face, that night they told each other with happy faces. But when a sword tells about the devil, the atmosphere turns silent.

"Is that true?" Pedangan 1.

"Well, but there are already heroes who will overcome it" said the storyteller.

Satoru just shut up and listen to the story of the merchant while being alert to the surrounding. Unable to sense and use detection magic, Satoru could only rely on his sense of hearing. The day was getting late and the merchants returned to their tents to rest.

"I will be on guard tonight, you rest" Satoru told the female knights.

"uh? do you think I'll entrust tonight's guard to you alone? besides I don't feel any magic energy from you either" the blonde girl said cynically.

"It's okay, even though I'm strong enough. That's why, you guys just rest and let me stand guard" Satoru said gently.

The girl did not listen to Satoru's words "Alright, I will be on guard tonight, you all rest. I can't entrust his guard to a man without magic like you" said the female knight.

The other knights entered their tents and rested. While Satoru and the blond girl are the ones who keep watch the night.

Holding a small twig, Satoru shoved charcoal on the campfire to stabilize the fire. "Hey, what's your name?" Satoru gently asked the girl.

The girl did not answer Satoru's question and remained silent. Every now and then the girl looked towards the forest quite vigilantly, she also occasionally glanced at the man who stood guard with her more vigilantly.

"Are you still not full? you better not eat too much so as not to get sleepy" The girl looked at Satoru cynically as she watched the man cook so much food.

"Yes, yeah. Then do you want to accompany me to eat? you haven't eaten at all, have you?" Said Satoru smilingly giving a grilled fish.

"Hmph! I don't need that" The girl refused Satoru's hand.

Growl~ growl~

There was the sound of a stomach rumbling in that silent atmosphere. The girl's face looked red and turned her face away. "Ja~ don't get me wrong! a~ I'm not hungry at all"

"Ahaha.well, if you want to take it. The fish is cooked and the yam too" said Satoru chuckling at the girl's behavior.

"I want to patrol for a while" Satoru got up and walked away leaving the girl with some fish and grilled yams.

In front of the bonfire, the girl gulped her saliva and seemed to notice the fish and yams that were in front of her eyes. His rumbling stomach began to sound again, his hands trembling slowly moving to take the grilled fish.

"T~ does not...where may I eat, the food given by a man like him!" His other hand stopped the hand that was about to take the fish.

But still, because he had not eaten he could not resist the fragrant smell that was right in front of him. The girl also ate the fish and yam that had been cooked by Satoru greedily.

Upon returning from the patrol, Satoru saw the girl asleep in a sitting position. "Hmm, in the end he ate her too. Huft, you can catch a cold if you just sleep" Satoru enveloped the girl.

He sat down next to the girl while keeping the bonfire burning. Just then something warm fell on Satoru's right shoulder. As he looked, the girl's face was so close to him.

*A~...

Te~ calm down Satoru, you can't wake him*!

Satoru regulated his breathing and calmed himself so as not to wake the girl. Throughout the night, Satoru stood guard alone and became the back of the girl sleeping beside him.

In the morning the girl's eyes slowly opened, when she realized that she was sleeping on a man's shoulder, she quickly slapped Satoru's face hard. "No!!!! a~ what are you doing to me!?" The girl shouted in panic.

"Ad~ ouh duh.... What are you doing!?" Satoru looked annoyed at being slapped all of a sudden.

"A~ what do I do while I sleep!!?"

Satoru looked confused "Huh? I didn't do anything, but you're the one leaning on my shoulder!" Satoru said while holding his cheek that was hit by a slap.

Hearing that the girl's face looked flushed red "Ma~ where might I do that!! a~ ahah be~ is right too, you must have put the medicine in the food..." The girl seemed to be pulling her sword out but was stopped by her friends.

"Carlotte-sama is calm" The other female knight tried to calm the blonde girl down and take her to the front carriage.

"I'm sorry for the attitude of our leader, even though he's actually a good person" said one of the female knights apologizing to Satoru.
