Chapter 27: Getting Started

In the exam room all the students were conducting a writing exam, while Satoru was given a stack of papers on his desk. All of these papers are written exam questions that will be done in another day. Everyone looked surprised when they saw that, moreover, the speed of Satoru filling all the matter without hesitation.

"Mom, I'm done!" Satoru raised his hand and advanced forward giving all of his test sheets.

"Alright, it's all done. You can go directly to the field for the practice exam, the principal is already waiting there" said the exam supervisor.

All the students looked, shocked when they heard that it was the headmaster who would be the examiner of Satoru personally.

On the practice exam field the headmaster was standing in the middle of the field waiting for Satoru's arrival. "Hurry up you come, too"

"Well, since all the exam questions are so easy, I can solve everything in a short time" Satoru replied walking up the field.

"Then show me your magic power!" The headmaster revealed a large magic circle in front of him.

Satoru immediately moved to the side because he knew that the circle was an intermediate-grade fire magic that shot out quite quickly.

"Hahah, great boy. I can't believe a man without magic like you would understand more about magic circles than any other student" the headmaster praised excitedly.

"Aren't you going to pull that sword around your waist?" Asked the headmaster glanced at Satoru's waist.

"You said you wanted to see my abilities, didn't you? then comes Aerial Spada!" Satoru raised his wind sword and directly used the wind incision.

The headmaster directly used protective magic and managed to resist all the wind slashes that shot out extremely fast. "That's it, so you have a magic sword well" said the headmaster with a small smile on his lips.

Satoru immediately ran over and attacked the protective magic with the penetration ability of Aerial Spada. "Sadly, it is indeed difficult to destroy magic with abilities that are more inclined to physical penetration" muttered Satoru as he pitted his sword with protective magic.

"What are you muttering!?" The headmaster directly attacked using fire magic again making Satoru jump away.

"School head! are you sure you used such a powerful magic attack!" Shouted the examination supervisor from the sidelines.

Not listening to that, the headmaster continued to cast high-level magic towards Satoru. "The Metsuma No Tsurugi!!" Satoru instantly brought out his magic neutralizing sword and eliminated that magic attack when slashing at him.

"Oi! do you really want to kill me!!" Shouted Satoru after successfully resisting the attack.

The supervisor and the headmaster looked shocked to see the high-level magic attacks disappear instantly. "A~ what happened? b~ how can the headmaster's magic disappear?" The supervisor muttered with confusion.

Satoru immediately ran up to the headmaster, a layer of protective magic created by him but could be penetrated by Satoru easily. "Just for free! I can vanish all your magic easily!" Said Satoru who was getting closer to the headmaster.

The atmosphere became silent, in the field the headmaster was silent with a sword in front of his neck. "It's my victory, isn't it?" Said Satoru who was beginning to run out of breath.

"Yes, you won the boy. You can take a vacation first" said the headmaster with a smiling face satisfied with the fight.

I told them for a week, but I don't think it'll be enough for a few days in the dungeon. That's why I want to finish all those exams as soon as possible.

After packing his things, Satoru immediately went to the Star Santuary company to say goodbye to Airi and ask her to take care of the rabbits.

"Airi-san" Sapa Satoru upon entering the building.

"Eh? aren't you still testing Satoru-san?" Airi was astonished to see Satoru in his place even though the test was still going on.

"I've already finished my exam, so I'm off now. I'm sorry but can I ask you to look after the rabbits while I'm gone? it may be 2 weeks at the most" Satoru told Airi.

Seeing Satoru pleading with him "No need to beg like that Satoru-san, you are my life savior. About the rabbits I will take good care of them, so hurry back" There was a sweet smile on Airi's face.

"Thank you Airi-san, then I leave first" Waving her hand Satoru walked away heading outside the gate.

"See you later, be careful Satoru-san..." Airi muttered that waving from a distance with enough worry.

After two days passed Satoru arrived at a city called Sofya. It was a fairly large trading city in the territory of the Earshied kingdom. The atmosphere of the city was very different from the capital, there were a lot of traders and markets located on every street.

"This city is completely different from the capital" Satoru muttered as he looked in all directions. He came to the adventurer guild that was there and wanted to find an escort quest that was in line with his goal, the dungeon city.

In front of the notice board Satoru heard people talking about the dungeon city.

"Hey, did you hear that a new dungeon has appeared in the city?"

"Yes, he said the treasure there is also very much"

After handing over the sheet, Satoru was told that there was another squad who would come along and was asked to gather at the city gate early tomorrow morning.

The next morning Satoru went straight to the gate and saw many chariots with merchants and wares. On the other hand there were some female knights who looked like disciples of an academy.

"Hello, my name is Satoru. I will take part in this escort mission" Satoru said, introducing himself to the female knights.

"Tch, a weak man like you is coming? don't stop us!" Not a good greeting, Satoru was treated like a bully by one of the blond female knights with sky blue eyes.
