Chapter 6: The Capital

In the afternoon Satoru finally reached the capital. Upon entering the city he was amazed by what lay before him, the medieval fantasy-themed buildings and people of all races lived there.

"H-that! Animal-eared girl!"

While Satoru was preoccupied with himself, the merchant girl hit him on the back.

"Hey, come!"

"Ah, yes~ sorry I'm just impressed to see this city"

Hearing that, the merchant girl was quite astonished.

"Have you never been in town this whole time?"

Satoru nodded his head while scratching the back of his head and laughed.

"Haha, that's. All this time I was always in the depths of the forest and practicing"

"Heee~ so what do you want to do in the capital?"

Satoru told me about his business coming to the capital. If he was going to enter the academy that was here to learn about the world. Hearing that the merchant girl gave spirit to Satoru.

After a long walk they arrive at a large building that reads "Star Santuary Company" while in front of the building, Satoru was confused when he saw the girl being greeted with such respect by the workers who were there.

In front of the building door the girl turned and smiled.

"I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself, my name is Airi, I'm the daughter of a santuary star company owner!"

At that time Satoru was silent because he was shocked if the girl he saved was the daughter of the boss of a large company. Airi pulled Satoru's hand and brought him inside the building. They went to a room at the door that read "The Company Owner's Room".

Satoru who is still shocked can only follow the plot of Airi which leads him to meet the boss of a large company.

In the room she sits alone on a sofa, while Airi goes out to call her father. Looking around him filled with luxury goods makes Satoru feel a little uncomfortable, because he is indeed a person who does not really like luxury.

After quite a long wait appeared a man who opened the door in followed by Airi.

"Sorry to make you wait for Satoru-san"

"Eh, ah it's okay"

As they sat the atmosphere became awkward, Satoru was not used to talking to people of high status. While on earth he often met with people who contain the title of acting and so forth because he is a kendo athlete.

Looking at Satoru who looked uneasy, Airi asked him.

"What's wrong? is there anything that makes you uncomfortable?"

Hearing that, Satoru immediately denied it and explained to them.

"Ah, no! actually I'm just not used to luxury, so this makes me a little nervous"

At that time there was a waiter carrying a tray, on the tray there was a box and a bag containing money. The waiter put the tray on the table and went out of the room.

Seeing so much money at the table, Satoru felt bad accepting it.

After wandering around looking for Satoru found an inn recommended by Airi.

Satoru went to the reception desk of the inn to reserve a room, fortunately there was still one room that was empty. But suddenly there was a bright brown haired girl who booked a room right after Satoru paid for the room.

"Ano~ are there any rooms left?!"

"Ah, just got the last room in the message by the young man next to you"

The girl looked gloomy because of that, moreover it was already dark. Seeing this, Satoru felt pity and gave him the key to his room.

"You just use the room, I'll find another inn"

Satoru passed the key to his room into the little hands of the girl and immediately left the inn. When the girl wanted to call him, Satoru was gone, not knowing where.

"Alright, looks like I'm going to sleep outside tonight. Well it's not as bad as I think it is to make a girl sleep outside"

Satoru climbed onto a tree branch in a park in the city. While enjoying the night wind, he looked at the stars in the sky. The quiet atmosphere made him feel drowsiness until he finally fell asleep on the branch of the tree.

The night ended and the sunlight began to shine back on the world. Satoru woke up from his sleep and jumped down from the tree branch. He immediately went for a walk to find a stall that sold food for breakfast.

After buying some food, he immediately walked towards the academy by following the few people who walked there. There were countless people who came to the academy, both from the nobility and the common people.

While in front of the gate, Satoru was silent for a moment because he was amazed by the shape of the academy he was about to enter.
