Chapter 26: The Examination
In the morning, Satoru was visited by several knights. "What do you want?" Satoru asked in a displeased tone when he saw the palace knights in front of his house.
"You are called to face the king" said the knight.
Satoru just remembered that the princess told him to go to the palace. He followed the knights to the palace with a heavy heart. When he arrived at the palace everyone stared at him cynically for not having any magic energy at all.
What did the princess think?
In the throne room Satoru faced the king and knelt down. He said nothing or greeted the king. Satoru did not really like people who have a high status. The reason was not because of hate or anything, it was because Satoru did not really like it because of the behavior of those who like to step on who are below them.
"Hey! how respectful are you to His Majesty!" One of the knights shouted loudly to see Satoru who was just silent.
Satoru got up and stood up, "Why should I greet him? I didn't come here because I wanted to, so what do you want with me who doesn't have this magic?" Satoru looked seriously into the king's eyes.
"For someone who has no magic energy at all like you, dare to act disrespectfully in the presence of His Majesty!" A knight drew his sword and pointed it at Satoru.
Just then Serge came and stopped the knight because he saw Satoru's left arm start moving and was about to release the katana key. "Stop! what the hell are you doing? he's a guest here!"
"But, Serge-sama?" The knight did not accept.
"If you fight him, I will surely die in a matter of seconds" Serge said with a serious look.
Hearing that, the king looked surprised to see the strongest knight in the kingdom so respectful to the person before him. "Have you ever fought against this young man, Serge?" Ask the king.
"Yes, Your Majesty! at that time I became his examiner in the academy entrance examination. The ability he has is very powerful even though he does not have magic" Serge replied without the slightest hint of degrading Satoru.
The king looked amazed when he saw a royal strongest knight praising a young man who was before him. "Hey, why do you hate nobles so much? is there something going on between you and the nobles?" Ask the king.
"Not really..." Satoru replied as if he did not care "If no one wants to talk about it anymore, I will leave now, I still have more important business" Satoru said turning his body around.
"Like taking care of an understanding of your abilities?" Said the king.
Hearing that, Satoru paused for a moment "Hmm? what are you talking about? I don't have any skills or magic you know. All I have is pure sword skills, if you can't believe just ask the adventurer guild" Satoru said, leaving the room.
"The boy is really similar to them" the king murmured as he watched Satoru walk out of the room.
"Him? who are you talking about?" Ask the princess curiously.
"Someone who saved this kingdom" answered the king, remembering that.

In the middle of the city, Satoru sat down with a long sigh. "Haaa. I don't know why I don't really like people who have high status" he muttered in the chair near the fountain.
If I remember I never spoke well when I was with people like them. What exactly did I feel at that time?

"Alright" Satoru replied seriously and left the room.
At that time the principal's secretary asked him something, "Head of school, what do you say about testing magic? he doesn't have any magic energy at all, does he?"
"That's true, but he can create a magic through his sword" said the headmaster with a small smile on his face.
"Through sword? you mean like a magic sword?"
"Well, that's kind of it. Otherwise, how could he possibly defeat the demons by himself?"
"Eh? aren't the heroes who defeated the demons?" Secretary says.
Hearing that the headmaster looked quite upset "Haaa?! you think those rookies can defeat a demon? want as good as any skill possessed by them or have a holy weapon though, if their ability is low, they will definitely die when faced with a demon" said the headmaster.
