6. The Dumbest Girl on Earth

"Christa, you can stop, right?" Said the thin-legged girl after feeling quite tired of seeing Christa who kept pacing before her while rummaging indistinctly, mentioning the name of a Man.

"Gue can't be fooled, Cha. I've only been with Arga for a month, but he suddenly says, and then suddenly also says that he already has a girl. My heartache, Cha." Christa complained at length, which made Alisha's head dizzy until it almost exploded because of it.

Christa then sat down next to Alisha–, her best friend who was laying her body on the bed.

"If it's like that, it means that Arga is an asshole. You don't have to suffer this way just because of that guy."

Not accepting the words of her best friend who said that Arga is a dick, Christa immediately looked at Alisha while holding her shoulders quite hard. Christa's eyes are already watery now.

"Cha, you're my best friend. You always understand me, but why now you even talk to me, Ichaaa? I love Arga, I don't want to lose Arga. Can't I be heartbroken?" Christa's tears slowly came down and made Alisha's feeling practically uneasy.

"Ta, Ta, you don't cry dong. I just don't want to squirm you keep getting sick like this just because of that guy."

Christa then covered her face with both hands and cried in a loud enough voice. The loud noise was heard to make Alisha her own family.

"Tooh Christa, why are you crying so fast, anyway?"

Alisha hugs Christa and tries to calm her down as much as possible. In Alisha's determined heart, if she meets the man named Arga, she promises to break his bones, mercilessly, without mercy.

"Van, sorry I'm late. There was a sudden business." Said Qiara with a breath of breath. He then took a position in front of Vanno who was waiting for him at a cafe.

Vanno did not answer. He just stared at Qiara with an illegible look.

"This is for me?" Qiara asked after seeing a glass of Kiwi Sparkling Soda on the table that Vanno had ordered for her.

Vanno simply nodded in response. Qiara then smiled and immediately drank the Kiwi Sparkling Soda up to half the toilet. He was completely thirsty after running from the third floor to the second floor, where Vanno was waiting for him.

"The sudden rush of Danny's nemenin abis, huh?" Vanno finally made a sound. But his tone sounded unhappy.

"Yes, here. That's a really ngerepotin' boy." Qiara replied casually. He is still not aware of the situation.

Qiara then opened her phone and checked the schedule of the film that will be aired that day. Need For Speed was on one of the lists, but Qiara chose to skip it knowing Danny would be watching as well. He doesn't want to be Danny's mockery later if they cross paths while watching.

"What are we watching today?" Qiara asked while still scrolling the screen of her smart phone.

"Qi, I'm breaking up!"

Qiara's finger that had been actively wiping her phone instantly froze. All the feelings were gathered together in his chest now, but heartbreak was not one of them. Since the beginning of dating Vanno, Qiara had never harbored any feelings for this man. He just lives his relationship without expecting anything. Qiara also did not bother to make efforts for the relationship to survive.

"Okay, if that's what you want."

Vanno smiled faintly, as if not accepting with Qiara's reply. His conjecture had been answered already, Qiara had indeed never liked him since the beginning. What is happening now, is not just about today. All of this was an accumulated form of the feelings of disappointment that Vanno had felt over the past six months.

Six months they are dating, but can be calculated on the finger the intensity of their very rare encounters. Qiara was always busy with everything, except Vanno.

"Cih, is it that easy to break up with someone? Or has this become a habit?" Hiss Vanno sharp.

Qiara, who had only appeared flat on her face, now started to show a reaction. The two eyebrows met after listening to Vanno's words. However, Qiara who did not want her anger to be provoked, chose to rise from her seat.

"The one who got dumped is me now. Why are you even acting like a cast elo?"

"Because elo makes it look like that. You are unconscious? Elo who made me feel dumped now!"

Qiara nodded her head. Then turn away.

"Qiara wait!" Intercept Vanno from where he is sitting now.

Qiara turned around and threw a questioning gaze at her former lover.

"The package you're wearing now is from me, right? Balikin!" Vanno said timidly after previously he cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck which was not itchy at all.

Qiara hissed cynically while rolling her two eyeballs. Then without taking a word, Qiara opened the jacket given by Vanno and threw it at Vanno.

"Take nih. I don't need it."

The laughter of Danny, Celine, and Arga instantly broke out shortly after Qiara finished her story of how her relationship with Vanno ended. There is nothing more ridiculous for them. Arga even faithfully ordained Qiara as; 'The Dumbest Girl on Earth.'

Qiara could only give up on seeing her friends who were so satisfied with her.

"Well, I'm amazed by Vanno. He even asked you to pay for your own drink, hahaha," Celine said without being able to control her laughter.

"Everything, I should have seen it so I'm sure it didn't happen." Added Danny.

Just as Qiara was about to reply to that annoying Danny remark, Danny suddenly felt his phone shake. He took his phone in his jacket pocket and immediately answered a phone call that turned out to be from Prissy.

"Hallo, Paris?" Say hello to Danny as he passes and away from the position of his friends now.

Qiara just kept following Danny's every move with a feeling of nelangsa. And without her noticing, Celine also continued to watch herself in silence. Celine's face that had been bright since then was now slowly tangled. Among the others, Celine is the only one who knows that Qiara is actually still harboring feelings for Danny. Qiara has never really been able to let go of Danny despite the efforts he has made over the past two years.

Celine knew right, that everything Qiara was doing now to hold her back, was an effort she made to protect her friendship with Danny.

More than anything, Danny and Qiara both do not want to lose each other.

After gathering at Arga's house, which is still a complex with their house, Danny and Qiara return home on foot. During the trip, Qiara continued to relentlessly tell Danny a lot of things, while Danny just listened while continuing to look at the girl's face from the side. But Qiara was not at all bothered by it despite noticing it. Because Danny always looks at his interlocutors the same way.

"Qia, wait!"

Danny suddenly intercepted Qiara's arm, and Qiara automatically stopped her long rant once she felt Danny intercept her arm.

"Why?"

Without answering Qiara's question, Danny squatted down in front of her and tied up Qiara's loose shoelaces. Danny smiled thinly. After finishing his work, he looked up at Qiara, "what would you do without me? Why are you always this stupid?"

Qiara's tongue suddenly shriveled. And in an instant, he had already turned into a statue. Whether because the air was indeed a bit cold tonight, and Qiara only used a thin t-shirt because her jacket had been taken back by Vanno, she immediately felt her entire body cool down. But unlike what his body felt, his face was hot after receiving sweet treatment from Danny.

Danny then got up. He quickly took off the jacket he was wearing and put it on Qiara's body. Qiara gasped, trying to shake off all the disturbing feelings now.

"Next time, don't date that weird guy. Not a manly act makes a girl cold like this."

"Dann, no need. I'm okay." Elak Qiara tried to shake Danny's hand. His face was getting hot. Hopefully not flushed. Hopefully.

"Ck, this is not a good time to argue. Understood?" Danny Omel.

He then pulled the collar of the jacket that he had fitted on Qiara's body. The thing that Danny did was finally inevitably to make the distance of their faces become rather close.

Qiara. Breath choked.

However, in moments that are quite stressful and make the heart of Qiara jump in there, Danny just looks ordinary and looks calm. Danny then chuckled and rubbed Qiara's forehead as he cursed, "foolish basics!"

January, 2013...

"Why do you keep avoiding me, Qi?" Danny asked Qiara with stifled emotions in every word.

Ever since they broke up two months ago, Qiara had been avoiding him. Danny's brain actually understood why Qiara had to do that to him, but his heart seemed to reject hard. Whatever the circumstances, he did not think it would be possible when the situation between them would continue like this.

"After what happened to us, can't I avoid you? We broke up two months ago, but you keep treating me like I'm still your girl. Is that normal for you?"

"We're in office, Qia." Danny warned me.

"Then treat me like a friend. Don't make things complicated."

"Elo's the one who's making things complicated right now." Danny's cold sizzle blamed Qiara.

Qiara. He was suddenly out of words.

Everyone knows, that their situation is quite complicated right now. Nothing is easy if two people who are used to friendship suddenly fall in love, then dating and then breaking up. The situation, even complicated to explain.

"Well, because I'm the only one who's making things complicated here, so please let me go." Qiara's tone sounded slow, yet so piercing. He did not even look at his interlocutor.

"Why should I let go of you? Long before we broke up, you were my best friend. Nothing has changed. It's all just back to the way it was." Danny was stubborn.

THE PLAQUE!

A slap landed smoothly on Danny's face shortly after he finished his words. His words just now, actually managed to hit the heart of Qiara which he had indeed destroyed before. Qiara laughed sneered with her breath rising and falling as if she had just completed a marathon run. His emotions had already completely peaked, he could not control it anymore even though as hard as he tried. Danny's statement to him just made his whole head boil.

While Danny who seemed to be starting to realize that his words had already exceeded the limit, could only stare at Qiara blankly.

"Of course you'll keep acting like this until the end. No one is more a jerk than you... Danny Juan Adhitama."
