58. Danny and Qiara's laughter

"Reno, there is no mother in the world who does not love her child. And whatever you do, it's all you do for Reno. Reno can go to school in a good place, with a new uniform every semester, it's because Reno's mom regularly sends money to Reno. Even though Reno's mother disappeared for years, but I always wanted to know Reno's situation." Said Ira's mother with tenderness to Reno who was still in shock at the incident.

After Mr. Rendra brought Reno back, Ira's mother who had looked the toughest and calm immediately shed her tears. He hugged Reno, and repeatedly expressed his gratitude that Reno could return to them without being hurt.

Qiara and Danny who had been watching Ira and Reno from the front of Reno's room were both moved to hear Ira's mother's sincere words to Reno. Qiara even let out tears as she was so touched.

A little while later, Qiara and Danny both turned their heads when Dean and Windy suddenly came while carrying Reno's mother who looked very worried and panicked after hearing the news about her son. Regardless of anything, Reno's mother immediately went inside to see the condition of her son. It was seen that he immediately cried and hugged his son while repeatedly apologizing for making Reno misunderstand him.

"Danny, are you okay? Which part hurts? Try making your hand!" Dean asked as he approached Danny.

After hearing the news about his sister's heroic actions earlier, Dean immediately felt anxious. The injury that once experienced by Danny to cause him to be in a coma for one month to make Dean traumatized. Just like Qiara, Dean was afraid that something bad might happen to Danny again.

"Ck, I'm fine, brother. No need to be lebay!" Danny replied as he clucked and brushed his brother's hand off his two shoulders.

"Then you come with me to the hospital, you have to be on the CT Scan!" Dean replied as if he did not care about Danny's disturbed feelings for his attention and anxiety.

Meanwhile, Qiara and Windy are both trying to hold back the laughter of seeing Danny being treated like a child by Dean.

Dean went inside, following Reno's mother.

"What are you two?!" Danny sizzled while staring intently at Qiara and Windy who were clearly laughing at him right now.

Dean had just come out after talking to Ira's mother when he saw Danny, Qiara, and Windy who were laughing together after hearing Windy say something. For some reason, Dean felt his heart warm once he saw Danny and Qiara who had been even hard to laugh, finally laughing so loosely when they met again.

Although heavy, but Dean must still admit that how relieved he can see two loved ones who for three years always live in darkness, now find the light on each side.

But more than anything else, Dean did not want to give up on fighting for Qiara. Dean wants to keep fighting as hard as he can until finally fate is the end for him.

Dean then commented on one smile on his face, then approached the three people by trying to be normal.

"Danny, let's siep-siep! We have to go to the hospital."

Danny sighed softly, his laughter that had broken out was instantly silent. In one hit, Dean managed to mess with his mood.

"Gue told you, I'm okay, brother! I can even fight boxing with this bruised shoulder!" Danny said curiously.

Dean didn't answer Danny this time. He turned his attention to Qiara and said, "then, Qi, let's get Dean to Radio. You're gonna have to broadcast soon, right?"

"And Danny, Anter Windy came home with my car. After that, go straight home. Not going anywhere!"

"Stop treating me like a kid, brother!" Pinta Danny with a puff. The feeling of anger and jealousy seemed to burn it from within.

And as soon as Dean and Qiara walked past them, Danny and Windy just suddenly felt so miserable.

"K–why is Brother Dean here?" Qiara asked stammeredly without daring to look at Dean.

At that moment, Qiara invited Dean to speak in front of her apartment building.

"From the beginning I already knew you were here, Qi. But I intentionally didn't do anything, because I thought, you still need time to yourself." Dean answered honestly.

Qiara slowly raised her face then looked back at Dean with both eyes shaking violently. Now, Qiara felt a lot of self-loathing as she felt as bitterly disappointed as she knew that that was coming instead of Danny, but Dean.

Dean who understood what Qiara was thinking right now said to her, "are you disappointed that the one who came looking for you was Dean's sister, not Danny?"

Qiara was silent for quite a while. Is he so easy to read? Does it seem obvious on his face that he was really expecting Danny's presence?

"That's because you asked Danny. That's why–"

"Sister Dean!" Sela Qiara before Dean finished his words, "Qia should enter now. There are campus assignments that Qia must complete. Brother Dean better go. Sorry Qia."

"It's been two years, Qi. You can't keep hiding like this. You should go back." Dean said as Qiara had just shuffled from her chair.

"Sister Dean, please take care of me in a minute." Qiara begged.

Seeing Qiara who was about to cry, Dean immediately pulled the woman into his arms. For the first time Dean had the courage to go beyond the limits that Qiara had been building between them.

"Please pass that short time the same as me, huh, Qi? I promise, I won't force you to make love with me, but please allow me to be next to you. Finish your lecture here, and go home with me, Qiara."

"Sister Dean, please. Brother Dean deserves better than me. How could I agree with Brother Dean's request, while in the past, I've–" Qiara could not continue his words. There's an unbreathed tingle in there. His tears were dripping more and more, representing all his destruction.

"St! Don't you continue again. Hm?"

Dean released his embrace of Qiara for a moment with both hands still wrapped around her waist. Dean looked into his eyes fixedly, trying to convey solemnity and sincerity from the bottom of his heart. Dean gently wiped his tears. Then, as he sensed Qiara beginning to calmly accept his presence, Dean landed a kiss on the frail woman's forehead, hoping that by doing so, Qiara could realize, that no matter what, she was, she'll always be a valuable woman to Dean.

"Eight years ago, you saved me from death. And now, please to at least let me return the favor for it. I won't ask for more than you. I just want you to be by my side, through this hard time with me."
