43. Regrets

"Danny, you better get home rested. For now, I no longer need you." Qiara said coldly. And the words were successful in reducing the wound in Danny's heart.

"We will only hurt each other if we keep pushing to be together now. So, please...." Qiara looked at Danny with a pleading gaze, again her tears flowed, ". stay with me." Qiara continued while throwing back her gaze from Danny.

"Qiaa..." Danny nodded with a pleading tone.

Before the situation became tense again, Windy came forward and held Danny's arm with both hands. Windy is actually just like the others, he also harbors anger at Danny. But for now, Danny needs at least one of them to calm him down. Regarding this miscarriage, of course not only Qiara felt devastated, but Danny must also be as devastated as Qiara now, as Ray said earlier. That's why, Windy volunteered to 'give himself up' to Danny.

"Tell Qia, you better go home rest. I'll anterin lo, Dann. I'm gonna drive you."

"I'm home." Danny gave a small kiss at the temple of Qiara. Qiara did not show any reaction and just stared blankly at the white wall in front of him.

But he also could not deny, after Danny rewarded him with a kiss, he had faltered. The feeling of not being willing to let Danny go home suddenly burst into his chest. And as soon as he saw Danny's back moving out of the room, it felt like Qiara was holding back and hugging him as hard as she could.

A moment after Danny and Windy disappeared behind the door, Qiara directed her eyes reddened and glazed at the tall figure of Arga standing not far from her. Arga looked back at him.

"Ga, please don't hit Danny anymore." Qiara pleaded while sobbing.

"But, Qi—"

"Lo can be angry with Danny, can hate Danny, but please don't hit Danny. My heart hurts so bad Danny got hurt. I beg..." Qiara's voice trembled before her cries finally broke.

Arga rubbed his face in frustration, as Celine stepped towards Qiara then hugged her to calm her down.
