Qiara immediately woke up from her sleep with a feeling of shame mixed with annoyance. It's been days since he confessed to Danny, but every word he said to the young man still haunts his mind day and night. His own words, had even haunted him all the way to dreamland.

Unfortunately again, when Qiara just went down the stairs, he had to face the figure of Danny who he always avoided it. Because in the middle room there, it looks like Danny is playing chess with his Papa. Qiara patted her forehead with her eyes closed. And just as he was about to return to his room to escape, his mother suddenly came from the kitchen.

"Are you awake, Qi? Mopping face wash. We're having breakfast together."

Qiara grimacing. Her mother really did not understand the situation.

Slowly, Qiara turned around, and the look in her eyes immediately whistled with Danny's two eyes that were looking at her with a sweet smile on her face. Danny even waved his hand with a single grin as if to say, 'lo stamps!'

"Qi —Qia not breakfast. Just go on to sleep." Qiara answered without taking her eyes off Danny.

Suddenly shameless, the memory of when he kissed Danny on the beach at that time shimmered in his head when he accidentally saw right on Danny's lips. After that, he ran up the stairs.

It felt, Qiara really wanted to obliterate herself from the universe this second as well.

While Danny who saw Qiara was acting strangely, he suddenly felt wrong. He smiled while lowering his face. Just like an ABG in love.

"Who? Aye? How did he escape?" Said Papa Qiara who was astonished by the behavior of her daughter.

"Let Danny catch up!" Dashing Danny with still showing a sneaky grin on his face.

Danny was ready to make Qiara his moons.

"Qi's? I can go in, huh?" Said Danny from the front door while knocking on Qiara's room door.

Actually Danny could have just barged in as usual. But he was trying to understand Qiara's current state who was still embarrassed by the events the other day.

Danny still didn't get a response from the Room Owner.

"Om rarely, you know, go home. Do you want to eat breakfast? If you don't want to go out because of me, I'll go home."

That was the last gun Danny ever launched. Danny was sure, Qiara would definitely melt this time.

Papa Qiara worked as a branch leader at one of the leading banks outside the city. That is what makes him rarely go home. Over the course of a year, the intensity of his encounters with his Papa could be calculated with fingers. Not to mention, Ray who had to study abroad made their family never fully assembled since four years ago.

That was the reason why Danny insisted on persuading Qiara to go out and have breakfast with his parents. Danny knew for sure, that Qiara really craved the moment of gathering with his family like this.

Danny did not make a sound for a few seconds to lure Qiara out. And sure enough, not for ten seconds, Qiara opened the door of her room and then frowned looking for Danny's whereabouts. Not long after, Danny pokes out of hiding and shocks Qiara.

"PET!" Danny Screeches.

Qiara, who had thought that Danny had left, was completely shocked. His face suddenly met red, as all the memories of the incident on the beach suddenly struck his head. Then just as Qiara was about to close the door back, Danny immediately held her back.

"It's enough to play with her cats, Qiara." Danny's tone sounded quite serious, complete with his gaze shrinking Qiara's guts in the blink of an eye.

"If you're not comfortable with my presence here, I go home. But you have to get down now."

As Danny turns away, Qiara can feel himself holding Danny's wrist while continuing to lower his face. Although without saying a word, Danny actually understood the intention of Qiara who asked him not to go and stay with him.

Danny nodded later. Without wasting any more time, Danny hugged the girl to get rid of all her uncomfortable feelings.

Then as if commanded, Qiara slowly returned Danny's embrace. "Sorry, huh? It makes you awkward." Lirih Danny was full of seriousness while gently stroking Qiara's long hair that was still tight.

Qiara's heart was indeed that weak. Hearing Danny mention the word "you" alone, was enough to make his bones turn into jelly.

"Don't avoid it anymore. I'll miss you later." Danny then shuddered. Suddenly he felt amused by his words.

Qiara also reflexively pinched Danny's waist which was immediately greeted by a ringing from Danny, "can you not talk like that? I'm ticklish!" He then let go of Danny's embrace, and went down first while commenting on a smile on his face.

Damn, Danny's speech was successful in making his heart beat in the pace more than normal.

"Here's the girl who a few days ago talked love to me? Really bad!" Danny snorted, then walked in pursuit of Qiara's steps away from him.

After that, Qiara went back downstairs and enjoyed her breakfast with both her parents and Danny. While Ray, he has returned to Brisbane to continue working on his script after confirming that the research is complete.

His farewell to Celine that day was quite dramatic. Celine cried all day for fear that Ray would ignore her again like he used to. However, Celine's fear was instantly countered by Ray. Because as soon as he arrived in Brisbane, and for the days ahead, he was never absent to give news to Celine.

Ray even promised, that he would try hard to be able to finish the script as soon as possible, so that he could go back to see Celine again soon.

And Danny, always there, filled up one empty place that Ray had so that the Qiara family would not feel lacking.
