29. Important Meeting

Once again Danny breathed. He grabbed the ring box in a quick motion, closed it, then put it in a drawer.

Right now, there's a much more important thing that Danny has to solve first.

"What'sthis? Why are you two reacting like that?" Danny asks after realizing that Arga and Celine have shown absolutely no interest in the happy news he has just delivered with his 'prospective wife'.

"Have guessed the ending would be like this." Said Arga indifferently.

"We're not surprised!" Silence Celine –still with her flat face.

Danny and Qiara both snorted cynically. You unfaithful friend!

But even though they did not show the same enthusiasm as Alisha, they did, Arga and Celine were relieved that Danny finally let go of his worries and steadied his heart to take Qiara even further to a more serious level. Arga and Celine also both realize that there is fear in them right now. Fear that these two might hurt each other again. That's why, they can only show a flat reaction and even not interested.

And Danny can read everything clearly. Fear also doubts Arga and Celine on her. But in his heart Danny promised and made sure, that their fear would never happen.

"Did you talk to your parents?" Ask Danny about Arga.

After a get-together, Arga decides to come home with Danny to his apartment. Arga felt the need to speak four eyes with this friend of his.

"Semalem, before I went to Qia, I found Papa and Mama to ask for their blessing. And they gave me their blessing. Stay to my parents. Maybe I'll tell them tonight. And tomorrow, I'll prepare for a two-family meeting."

Danny never expected that convincing Arga was much harder than convincing Qiara's parents.
