16. Dumb and Dumber

Dean halted the swing of his impetuous footsteps as he clearly saw Danny pull the curtain around the hospital bed to cover himself and Qiara. After that, Dean clearly listened as if there was a crack deep inside his chest. And Dean was slowly pushed back when he saw two pairs of legs from behind the curtain that seemed to deliberately want to hide from him.

'Dann, what's up?'

Faint Dean listened to Qiara's voice in front of him.

This time it was Danny's. Dean then lowered his face for some time, before finally turning away and leaving the place with a fractured heart.

"Qiara same Danny's home. You better go home, too." Dean told a lie.

In Dean's heart he immediately cursed himself. Since when did he become a liar like this to protect Danny who was 'hiding' in there?

And Prissy's not that stupid, she knows that Dean's not being honest with her right now. But Prissy doesn't care, she'll still barge in and look for Danny's whereabouts inside.

But before Prissy fulfills her plan, shakes her phone and stops her. He had just received one incoming call from someone he would never be able to reject.

Qiara crouched down with an irregular sigh as she was just halfway through. He really felt unable to anymore.

That Sunday morning, Qiara, Danny, Arga, and Celine agreed to a morning run together. But because Qiara was very slow and rested too much, he and Danny were so far behind Arga and Celine. And it made Danny a little upset to keep scolding Qiara all the way.

Danny, who had run far enough away from her, stopped immediately when he realized that the chatty girl was again far from him. Danny turned around and found Qiara already sitting in the middle of the road. Danny clucked and returned to approach Qiara.

Anyway, why is Danny a hobby so grumpy? The tempramenya is really bad. Just yesterday he was being sweet after their quite serious quarrel, now his annoying attitude was even relapsing again.

Danny looked at Qiara with a faint smile on his handsome face. Not long after he turned around then crouched down in front of Qiara,

"Let's ride!" his voice suddenly softened.

"What the hell?"

"Lo ride willingly or am I forced?" This time it sounded threatening.

Qiara, who had no other choice, climbed onto Danny's back and wrapped his hands around the young man's neck. Danny got up while carrying Qiara on his back.

Qiara's heartbeats, which had been abnormal since then, were now increasingly unstable. He was suddenly nervous and felt very sad. The atmosphere became awkward and it made them feel uncomfortable with each other. Especially when the memory of their cuddle scene at the campus clinic the other day hit their memories simultaneously. It made Qiara feel embarrassed until a red tinge appeared coloring both cheeks.

Danny smiled as he realized how awkward they were now.

"Gue makes you nervous, huh?" Danny asked in a seductive tone that actually just wanted to prank Qiara.

Qiara suddenly misbehaved, not knowing what to do. He felt more embarrassed. The ignorant question that Danny just threw even more makes his feelings uncertain. His mind is dead-end.

Danny laughed and resumed his steps with millions of unexplained feelings.

"Thank you, Qi?" Said Danny suddenly.

"Make?"

Nah, right! His attitude turned soft again. Does Danny have a double personality?

"Sister Dean's attitude is now beginning to change. He's not as cold as he used to be, and I know, it's all gonna come from you, right?"

"That's the will of Dean's own brother, Dann. His attitude did not immediately change, it took him two years to be able to make peace with the past."

That morning, Ray looked very handsome even though his eyes looked tired after working on the thesis all night long. After Danny and Qiara returned, they all including Ray gathered in the backyard and discussed many things.

They looked familiar while occasionally laughing.

Danny and Qiara did not escape being their material. Arga even told me that he was trying to match Qiara with someone, but it seemed like it would fail because Qiara was difficult to work with.

Without feeling it, Danny's tears just fell as he saw the graceful-looking Qiara walking towards the altar in her extremely beautiful wedding dress. A happy smile was imprinted on her face with a pair of sparkling eyes, as if conveying to the universe that she was the happiest woman in the world.

His steps were so certain, like he had been looking forward to this day his entire life.
