Chapters 18. Demon's influence

“Jack! What's wrong, huh?” Erick patted his friend's shoulder and made all the thoughts in Jack's mind collapse.

“What's up, Erick?” Jack was confused because he was behind the restaurant.

“You were here and dumb. What was? Fred and Danny went home a few dozen minutes ago, but you're not ready to go home yet, ” Erick explained, leaving Jack even more confused.

“Don't I talk to Fred? Why suddenly ...” Jack only understood that it was most likely Fred and made Jack become like a dazed person affected.

“Come on, we better get ready and go home soon because it's done working,” Erick said as he embraced his friend and invited to walk to the restaurant first and get ready to go home.

Jack this time went back to his boarding house thinking about Fred. After arriving at the boarding house, he tried to contact Fred, but there was no response.

“How can Igor affect Fred? What should I do?” Jack promised inwardly he would investigate it and make it all complete.

Day after day goes by and Jack investigates about the demon Igor and how it might affect Fred. Jack feels that this is not a coincidence and that there is a certain purpose for the devil to influence Fred.

The negative aura in Fred's body is getting bigger and thicker. Jack is worried that Fred will do bad things because he is influenced by the demon Igor.

“Jack, what are you thinking? Quickly deliver order!” exclaimed the chef who saw Jack's performance somewhat decreased like there was a heavy thing being thought about.

“Good, chef?” Jack soon returns to work because of himself as a waiters at the restaurant. He could not calm down from observing Fred's movements.

“Why? Are you starting to worry about this body? Then try to find out how I control it,” said Fred under the influence of Igor. Of course Fred doesn't know and doesn't remember saying those things to Jack.

“Good, I challenge you! Give me the information and I will find out how and exterminate you!” Jack tries to challenge the demon Igor to tell. It turns out that what he did worked.

“Good. The information I will give you is like a puzzle that you will not be able to find the answer to. I control this body through something. Just think about the rest because the time possessed by this body is not long. Just three more days, or he will die,” Fred said with a grin. Igor's demon isn't joking because he can control Fred's body through an object owned by Fred.

“Good, I will find and exterminate you!” Jack did not feel afraid at all and instead was happy to get a little clue to be able to exterminate the demon.

“I can't wait to wait for you and also can't wait to prey on this body.” Fred will be eaten by the demon Igor if three days Jack can't find the object that made the Devil Igor can affect Fred.

The demon Igor has his own plans that Jack doesn't know about. Of course the devil is cunning and full of deceit so it tries to manipulate the human mind. Moreover, Jack has become a Demon Hunter and is famous for eradicating demons and monsters blindly and has a mission to exterminate at least one monster a day. The news had already spread and the demons and monsters were avoiding the increasingly powerful Jack.

However, Devil Igor is different from the others because it does not dodge and instead approaches by controlling one of Jack's comrades. There's a plan Jack doesn't know about.

“What would that be? It must be at Fred's! Ah, I couldn't have gotten in there if Fred was there,” muttered Jack was looking for an idea.

“Ah! I got an idea!” Jack called Erick and Danny.

“Hallo, can you help me?” Jack asks Erick and Danny to take Fred away for about two hours. Of course, the two friends agreed, even though they did not know why.

“Oke, we help! Take it easy, Jack,” Erick and Danny replied simultaneously.

Jack was relieved that he could check inside Fred's room to see if there was any item that had a black and evil aura as an intermediary for Igor. Jack felt that his plan would work.

After finding out Erick and Danny managed to take Fred away, Jack immediately settles down to get into the house and sneak into Fred's room. Jack manages to break into his friend's room and finds out what kind of stuff Igor's demons are using to influence Fred.

“What stuff? What stuff, huh?” Jack is still trying to find and figure out what kind of item Igor used.

Jack thought Erick and Danny would be okay. But all of that didn't go well. Jack searched for the object for thirty minutes and had not found it. Suddenly his phone rang.

“What's up, Erick?” Jack asked because of the phone call from Erick's name.

“You think I'd be stupid to leave an important thing in my room while you're rummaging through my room looking for that thing? Who do you think you're dealing with?” The voice was Fred.

“Where are Erick and Danny?!” Jack was worried because it was a bad sign.

“Maybe they won't survive. Meet me, or they're both the scum of this society I'm gonna kill! Breaking their necks and preying round and round is easy for a demon like me!” Igor threatens Jack because he is upset to feel played and is being underestimated.

“Do not touch Erick and Danny! Tell me where are you?!” Jack feels guilty for ordering his two friends and is in danger.

“Find me near the big wall clock of the city center high tower,” Fred said, ending the phone call immediately.

“Erick! Danny's! Goddamnit! It turns out I can't fool the demon Igor! I'm sure, that item must be being carried at this time. I'm going there to save my friends,” said Jack immediately went from that place and rushed to where his friend was.

Along the way, Jack can only hope that his three friends survive the demon Igor. Erick and Danny had no idea Fred was under the devil's control. Jack hopes it's not too late to get there.

At that time, Erick had bruised and his temple was bleeding. While Danny was sprawled and his back was being stepped on by Fred whose eyes began to light up like a sea of fire that was not extinguished. Igor's demons unleashed his powers and scared Erick and Danny. Both of them had begged for mercy, but were simply ignored.
