Chapters 16. Blamed

Jack follows Dominic who runs off with his light blue haired friend. “Stop you guys! How cruel you guys are already killing your own friends!” snappy Jack blames Dominic.

If Dominic wanted to help, it wouldn't be like this. That's what Jack thinks because he can't help a brunette and fight demons alone. After all, they knew each other, why leave just like that?

“Hah? What do you mean by killing your own friends? It seems like this is all your fault! You can help him, but you can't. That's what got him dead, right?” Dominic manipulates his friend's mind into siding with him and blaming Jack.

“Enak only! Basic!” Jack who was covered in anger immediately attacked Dominic.

Dominic does that too. Fights could not be avoided just like that and made the two of them attack each other. Having great strength, it does not necessarily bring happiness. Jack is currently trapped by Dominic who is jealous of the power and also the legendary weapons that Jack has.

The light blue haired man immediately went to summon the other Demon Hunters. He has agreed with Dominic to expel Jack by making Jack blamed for the death of one of the Demon Hunters. The two of them also agree that when Jack attacks Dominic, the young blue-haired man must report this incident to the other Demon Hunter to be able to get help and prove Jack is guilty.

“Please! Please!” exclaims from the light blue haired man who ran to the swarming Demon Hunters.

“What's up? What's up?” The Demon Hunter directly asked worriedly with that.

“Please! The new guy is attacking Dominic,” said the young blue-haired man while gasping for breath.

“Hah? New guy? You mean it's Jack?” Jim asked and immediately guessed that the new person referred to by the young blue-haired Demon Hunter was Jack.

“Yes, he is Jack. Right now, he's about to kill Dominic to dispel evidence and witnesses that he left one of us to be devoured by the devil. Please!” The young blue-haired man spoke with a reassuring tone and the worried look of his face supported his acting well.

The Demon Hunters believed the man's words and together headed to the place where Dominic and Jack were fighting. Abraham, Lilian, Jim, and the others did not think that Jack did such a bad thing. However, if the word proof of transaction means more than one word is true.

Dominic sees from a distance some Demon Hunter heading towards him who is fighting with Jack. The right moment because Dominic chose to pretend to lose so that Jack looks more fierce in front of the other Demon Hunters.

“I kill you! People like you don't deserve to be Demon Hunter!” snapping Jack while swinging his axe towards Dominic who pretended to fall.

“No!” Dominic deliberately screams as if asking for help and shows who is evil.

Jack was surprised as around there was a Demon Hunter. Even Lilian just shot her axe down. “Good you guys are coming! This guy's already-“ unfinished Jack spoke, Dominic directly ran towards Abraham.

“Please me, guys. Abraham, he's made one of us die in the demon-possessed mutated monster. I want to be killed because I want to report to all of you,” Dominic said with his clothes torn because of the fight.

“What?! A lie! He was the one who left his comrade who was the Demon Hunter in the Dungeon. His friend is a brunette. They were together, including the young blue-haired man!” Jack had obviously defended himself immediately because he was innocent of the death of one of the Demon Hunters.

“Friends, he's the one who lied. You all saw it for yourself, right? He wants to kill Dominic!” The light blue-haired man supported the falsehood Dominic had created.

Clearly the Demon Hunters believed more in what the eyes saw than what Jack said. Dominic and the light blue-haired man had already incited the Demon Hunters with their drama so that everyone believed more about the story of the brown-haired man who was sacrificed by Jack and eventually died. Moreover, Jack was a coward and a coward when he had not officially joined the Demon Hunter.

“Jack, shouldn't you do this after what we did to fight for your life,” said Abraham looking so disappointed with what happened.

“You guys really don't trust me?” Jack asks and wonders why everyone trusts Dominic more than he does.

The gazes of the Demon Hunters seemed to deduce the answer to the question posed by Jack if they did not trust Jack. Of course Jack felt sad and disappointed because the other Demon Hunters actually believed the words of Dominic who made up rather than what he explained. Even though he did not know the Demon Hunter that died earlier was preyed upon by demons and how could he sacrifice others to save himself? It doesn't make any sense.

“Alright then. Indeed from the beginning you were forced to accept me and from the beginning also I have no one here,” said Jack felt so disappointed with the Demon Hunters including Lilian, Jim, and Abraham.

Jack left the place with a lethargic step and a sad heart. Maybe he is too hopeful to have a friend who will defend and trust him no matter what. In reality, at this time he saw himself, there was not a single person from the Demon Hunter who heard his words or believed what was really happening to him.

Dominic is clearly hiding a smile of pleasure behind this incident. He managed to kick and get rid of Jack at this time. At least the Demon Hunters believed Dominic's words and began to stay away from Jack.

“Do I not deserve to have a friend? Even today I am becoming a much stronger man than my previous life and having a legendary weapon does not make me have people who trust and support my life. Am I not worthy of having friends?” jack murmured along the way away from the crowd and aloof. He realized, no one really cared about him. Even when sad like this, no one is chasing or stopping his steps.

“Jim, is it true Jack did just that?” Lilian asked as she was still hesitant to believe what Dominic and the light blue-haired man had said.

“You can see for yourself, there's no way he's lying. Someone must be lying. Just leave Jack. After all, he is indeed a burden for us,” stressed Jim did not want to make Lilian worried with his own thoughts. The two just saw Jack pass away.
