Chapters 15. Fights

Dominic is one of the Demon Hunters who has the power of wind. He is a man who has ambitions to eradicate and exterminate demons and monsters that exist so as not to attack humans. He felt that Jack did not deserve to be a Demon Hunter at all and also obtained a legendary weapon in a short time. He tried to incite some other Demon Hunter.

“Know about Jack, right?” Dominic stands leaning against the wall of a deserted alley along with his two friends.

“Why else is he?” ask one of Dominic's friends who doesn't like Jack.

“He got the legendary gun from old man Jenox. I don't think this is fair. We were first Demon Hunter.” Dominic begins to stalk his two friends with inflammatory word-for-word in order to gain support for displacing Jack from the Demon Hunter. He really wanted to hurt Jack.

“Ha ha ha ... Actually it's easy, if we unite we can definitely get rid of the man,” said Dominic's friend who has light blue hair.

“Good idea. I'll come along,” said the brunette friend.

Dominic smiled at his two friends. The incitement he said turned out to be really powerful. The two friends also hate Jack and agree with Dominic's words to get rid of Jack from the Demon Hunter.

Hours later, while Jack was enjoying a loaf of bread, Dominic and his two friends showed up. Lilian and Jim were not with Jack at the time. It became an opportunity for Dominic to launch his action without any other Demon Hunter blocking.

“Hai, new boy!” dominic is closing in on Jack.

Jack looked to the right and left to make sure he was the one being spoken to. He pointed his index finger towards his own face.

“Yes, you are it!” The young blue-haired man was so upset that Jack was pretending to be a fool.

“What's up?” Jack asked because he didn't know the man and didn't know what they wanted to do. Although fellow Demon Hunter, not necessarily all of them know each other because they have different levels.

“Sial! You look like this because it's close to the seniors, right?” Dominic clutches Jack's collar tightly and wants to hit him in the face. However, it stopped because something happened.

At the same time, in the Dungeon there was light and black smoke at the same time. The devil is a mixture of animals with human-like bodies, fly heads, and spider-like legs that just appear. The thumping sound made Dominic, Jack, and the other two men stare at the direction of the voice. The demon that was like a mutated monster was looking for prey. The more humans are preyed upon, the stronger they become.

“Damn it! The devil ... Look at the number on his forehead,” said the brunette who was worried to see the number seven on the monster's forehead.

“Ckkk, we attack before we cause trouble. Oh yeah, relax, there's a super great Jack. Against him, I want to know how strong you are,” Dominic said he wanted to make a move on Jack.

“I don't know you guys but why are you guys acting this shitty? Huh! I was not told by you guys to fight that demon! Monsters that appeared in Dungeons as well as the human world had to be annihilated before preying on humans even more and more powerful!” Jack felt astonished by the three men who were Demon Hunters as well but seemed to hate himself so much when they did not know each other.

Jack immediately grabbed the axe he had placed on his back. He ran towards the monster. “But I first!”

His spider-like legs made the monster's movements extremely agile. Jack was surprised because the monster easily dodged his axe attack. Even now the monster was already behind him.

“So soon,” muttered Jack who was wide-eyed when the monster directly attacked him back.

Dominic and his two friends laughed. They thought that the demon would not attack the three of them, but the thought was broken just like that as the monster quickly walked towards the three of them and immediately attacked.

“You also want to be my meal, huh?” The monster grinned, revealing its pointed teeth, unlike the teeth of a fly.

Dominic immediately dodged, while his two friends were attacked. “Sial! I think he will fight Jack,”, said Dominic, who knows he is in danger.

“Aaaaarrrgggrhh! My leg!” screeched the brunettes man whose right leg was stepped on by a four-legged demon or eight feet because it was like a spider.

“Dominic! Please!” The light blue haired man asked Dominic for help which was stronger than the two of them.

Dominic is not helping his two friends are currently in trouble. While Jack immediately helped by slashing one of the legs of the monster who stepped on the foot of a brown-haired man. Jack's axe hit the monster's leg and quickly one of the monster's legs just broke off.

“Thank you, Jack,” said the brunette man who had trouble moving because of his leg injury.

Dominic feels Jack is just imaging. He didn't feel Jack was being helpful.

The monster was angry that it hurt one of his legs to break. He was also raging and attacking intensely. Dominic called the light blue-haired man to leave the place. “Go away! The devil is no match for us! If forced, we will die silly!”

“How is this? Helpme! I can't walk fast,” said the brunette who limped walking.

Jack also felt that the monsters he faced today were not ordinary monsters and his strength was much greater than the previous one. “Help me to bring your friend! We're getting out of here!” jack exclaimed asking Dominic and the light blue-haired man to help bring the brown-haired man whose leg was injured and bleeding to leave the place.

However, Dominic just ignored and invited his friend to leave the place. Jack tried to help the brunettes man, but the monster who was angry that his legs had broken one instantly grabbed the brunette man for prey.

“Tidaak!” The brown-haired man shouted as his body became the devil's meal.

“Running!” Dominic invites his remaining friends to run away from the place.

Jack was wide-eyed to see the incident and his body was also hit by blood spurting. He knew that standing there would only be a deposit of life, with a heavy heart Jack escaped leaving one of the Demon Hunters that were preyed upon by the mutated demon monster. Guilt makes Jack cry. He catches up with Dominic and expresses emotion. Jack considers the death of the brunette man because Dominic does not want to help save.
