Part 10's. The Accident 2
"You need help?" Gilbert asked. I touched for a moment. I have to go to the police station. I have to call Uncle David, give me search support. The police may be able to access any camera in the city.
"I don't have a car at all."
"I have a car." L saw. He's the leader of the delegation. "Come, I'll accompany you. Stay dinner, my delegation stay rest after this. Tomorrow we'll be back."
"Well, may I ask you to drive?"
"Yes of course, we're walking to the parking lot."
I called Uncle David. I hope he's not in an important meeting, it's dinner time.
The assistant raised.
"Sir Miller, I have to talk to Sir David, this is Elizabeth Dugard, my sister's missing in Ottawa with her bodyguards as well." I'm straight to the talking point.
"At the moment Miss Dugard. I give it to Mister."
"Eliza, why is Monica missing." Uncle David asked. I told him the whole series of short events.
"I'll call the police chief, someone will come with you. Go straight to Ottawa's central police station if it's not wrong on Daly Avenue. I'll call you again.
"Understand Uncle." I hung up. "You know Daly Avenue, Waller Street, we're there."
"I know." He was driving, I had to call Charles, if he could track where the last GPS could be found.
"Charles, do you know where the last car GPS was?"
"I just received it Miss, its location outside of Ottawa city. But it was quiet maybe two hours ago." Then whatever happens, it happens shortly after my last call.
"Out of town, send it to me. I'll catch up with him, wherever it is. And I'll send it to the police."
But I have to find the location of our car first now. I'll let the phone determine the direction that Charles sent our head of security right away.
"You know what kind of problem this is?"
"I don't know, for God's sake I don't know. Why Monica got kidnapped, she's a good kid and nothing involved. During the pandemic we tried to help everyone. Employees, our affected communities, refugees, safe cities. Albert was very trying, even Monica was helping. Why could he be kidnapped, who would want to find trouble with him. I really don't know."
All I can do is wait for the results of the GPS tracking and follow them there.
"We found the car first, there must be something we can find up ahead. There can't be none. But what I hope isn't about finding something, but Monica's safe. Mother will be devastated if she finds her beloved daughter wretched.
I hope so too. Before long the tracking result was sent we followed its direction quickly.
"Is this out of town?"
"This map shows that this is next to the Gatineau River." This is a riverfront area that rarely houses residents. I saw the conditions after we drove about 30 minutes quickly.
"They left the car there. The bad news is they turned off the car's GPS without making the tamper alert turn on, should your security know." Now Gilbert's got a preliminary analysis of all these cases.
"Yes, that's what I was thinking about, too." I agree with his words. "Tampered alerts don't turn on, how do they turn off without making the signal send."
** Tampered alert is when you suddenly disconnect the GPS, then there is a danger sign sent to the registered phone.
"If that's the case, do they leave the GPS jammer. If so, this is something that professionals do. They want to buy time. If they wanted to buy time, at least your sister would still be alive." Gilbert made her guess this made me all worried.
"You think so." I'm not calm, I'm worried. Why would any organized crime want to attack Monica.
