"Why did Laura's father say you didn't care about her in Montreal?" He complained to his father! And Dad asked me. He thought this matter didn't turn around for him?
"I did have my own show, I told him."
"Didn't you ever walk with her? You're not interested in Uncle Robert's beautiful daughter."
"I'm not interested."
