The Antagonist: The World Ends Theory
Chapter 18 - Hortensia II Memory

Hendrick propped his chin to the table. He turned around the pen and looked like he had a lot of thoughts.

She was still confused by the fact that Clara Scoleths had come along with her father. In addition, either his father gets a mission where and why Clara can have hortensia flowers. That's a really hard question to answer if you don't ask the person directly.

Soon there will be a schedule for him to practice the sword. But it seems that he is still thinking about the causes and answers to all his questions.

Did I just ask Dad?

Hendrick shook his head.

That's the worst idea. Should I ask him directly?

...****...

"Clara Scoleths."

Clara looked at the voice as someone called out her name, it was Hendrick, Duke Wayne's eldest son.

"What's up, Young Duke?" Without getting close, Clara answered the call.

As Hendrick wanted to move closer to him, Clara seemed to be taking a step back. Hendrick asked at that distance.

"Where did you get that flower?"

Clara knitted her brows in wonder. "What flowers?"

"Hortentities. I thought you weren't from the West. Even though you have one thing in common with their main noble family."

"You don't need to know." Ketus Clara's. "Also Allen didn't have a problem where I could get it. Plus, please stay away from me. I need space to live."

With a quick step, Clara left Hendrick who had been waiting for her.

"Sigh. This matter is more troublesome than I thought. Actually you don't have to hide this. Why did we become victims of his lies?"

...****...

"So, from today on I'll help Miss do whatever Miss tells me to." A middle-aged woman looked down before Clara.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Avrim, Miss."

"Once, Avrim. So, just you?"

Avrim nodded faintly.

"Where are you from? I think I've seen you somewhere."

"I can't answer that Miss's question."

"You look suspicious like this. But, never mind, I don't want to magnify a small problem. Avrim, answer my question if you can't answer the previous one."

"Please, Miss."

"Why am I always in such a dark and luminous place? Is it true that my skin is sensitive to light and heat?"

"Yes Miss. Miss can not leave the room during the day because the light from the sun emits heat. Miss's skin from birth can't be exposed to anything hot."

"This skin has many complications. Oh yes, Avrim. My name is Clara Scoleths, so don't call me Miss Wayne like I called Allen. Because my real name is Scoleths."

"Scoleth? Is that Miss's surname? I just heard now the name of these Scoleths."

Clara nodded confidently. "The name Scoleths is unknown to many. I will continue to use it as my name. Please call me that, Avrim."

Avrim lowered her body slightly. "Of course, as your request, Miss Scoleths."

...****...

"That is the beginning of Avrim, the servant serves you. So Avrim has been with you since six years ago."

"So, I see, I get it now. It turned out that Avrim actually came to the Wayne residence a month after my arrival. So, he doesn't know exactly the beginning of how I came."

"so. And if you ask my sister then you will get a more accurate answer than my answer. Why can your relationship be strained 'clean?"

Clara ignored Hendrick's questions and continued to charge for the continuation of her story.

"It turns out you're more annoying than you were six years ago."

"In your dreams." Hendrick was upset.

"Come on, don't take too long. I have a brain with memories like the speed of light. Go ahead and finish quickly, please cherish my time."

"Aren't you the one who never appreciates my time?"

"Gee! Just continue!"

"Alright, alright. If you ask for more than this, I might not be able to. Where was it?"

"Avrim came out of nowhere and became my only personal servant."

"We jumped three years later."

"What?! Why?"

"Because the key is there. After all, your first three years here were nothing special but your friendship with Hellen, my sister."

"Belah..." Clara agreed with him.

...****...

Three years later.

TOK

"Rome! Rara!" Hellen yelled outside Clara's room.

This had been the umpteenth time since Clara first set foot in this residence. And her friendship bond with Hellen grew stronger.

TOK

When there was no word from the inside as usual, Hellen knocked on the door faster and tighter so that Clara could hear it.

Hellen was only afraid that Clara had forgotten how to breathe or forgotten how to walk. In essence, if there was still no response as well, Hellen would choose the option to break down the door.

"Why hasn't Rara woken up today? Is he in red time, huh?"

Hellen shook his head quickly.

"She just got through it and now it's only a week after her red period is over. So, what makes Rara lazy today?"

Before Hellen could knock again, Clara's bedroom door opened just like that. Showing a girl in her nightgown, her white mane fell lazily onto the girl's shoulders. Her sapphire eyes look pretty.

Hellen smiles happy to see Clara, lucky Hellen did not call Hendrick to break the door to Clara's room because it was not opened.

"Why?" Clara's voice was low and cold. Hellen was surprised, but he thought losing Clara would indeed behave like this after waking up.

"Rara, now we're going to the park."

"For what?"

"Did you forget? We promised to play in the park today. You're not so old you can't remember, are you?" This time Hellen's tone sounded doubtful. Something made his stance tremble.

"I don't remember, anyway..."

Clara's gaze was on Hellen.

"Who are you?"

"Huh?"

"Can you not be too familiar with me. We don't know each other."

BRACKET

The door closed again and left Hellen who was still silently sculpting. "Rara must be kidding, right?" Sluggishly.
