The Antagonist: The World Ends Theory

The Antagonist: The World Ends Theory
Chapter 105 - Students and Teachers

At the Wayne residence, the soldiers were busy going back and forth. The servants were the same, as if they were looking for something that if lost would be dangerous. And that is not entirely wrong, for what is missing is their young master.

"Ack! Shit, they're where - where."

A 9-year-old boy was hiding behind a bush. Since then he had intended to steal the opportunity to escape, but the longer the soldiers and servants who were looking for him in his place of sword training the more.

"Young Master Frederick?"

The sounds of the calls continued to fill the air. The boy, Frederick was grateful that he was not talkative. Or he will be caught immediately if he answers the call of the servants.

Is there no other way?!

Frederick stared at the high wall that was the boundary of the Wayne residence with the outer region. If he could get out of there and not be guarded from the outside, Frederick could easily infiltrate Wayne's residence.

"Well, that's the only way..."

Frederick settles - the precipitate approaches the boundary wall of the region. He had time to notice whether the servants or soldiers were aware of his whereabouts. When it was safe, Frederick began to climb the wall.

Because this wall is covered by tall trees, making it not too visible even though it is at the top of the wall. Frederick looked down, there was really no guard.

Frederick smiled cheerfully.

"It's my lucky day!"

"Hee~ What would Young Master Wayne do up there? Trying to avoid something, right?"

As Frederick wanted to jump down, he was shocked by the presence of someone. His voice reached Frederick's hearing, he almost slipped.

Frederick glared, he stared at a man in his thick black robe. From his height and posture, Frederick believed that the man was a man even though his voice was quite soft.

Frederick could see half of his face, and he had something special. Something he had never seen, perhaps this was the first time Frederick had seen such a special eye color. A rare color, ruby.

Not even nobles have it...

Looking at the dumbstruck Frederick, the man in the black robe only chuckled as he covered his mouth. The man opened his hood, revealing all aspects of his face that were worthy of admiration. He did it on purpose so Frederick would know.

"How can you...!"

Of course Frederick was shocked. The man in terms of looks was invincible, even as far as he could remember, his handsome friend Lraight would lose far when competing with this man.

Its snow-white surface and both ruby irises are shiny. His skin was white, his shoulders were firm, and he had everything men dreamed of. It is physically perfect. It's just that Frederick stays alert because he's a stranger.

"What's Young Master Frederick?" Asked the man, his face did not escape the wide smile full of hospitality. "Surprised by my looks?"

"Yeah, because I never knew anyone had a physique that was so flashy. I understand a little why you're wearing a cape." Said Frederick, slowly - the ground he set his feet to go down because he just failed to jump.

Hearing Frederick's remark, the man's expression became a little complicated. "REally...?" Mumbled.

Frederick set his foot on the ground after he made it down. Now it's time for him to escape. No matter where, the important thing is that he can be far away from that torment-filled house.

"Why did you run away from your residence?" Ask the man.

"I'm a free man, and that house is hell for freedom-lovers like me." Answer Frederick.

Although not entirely wrong, the reason for his escape was his father. He had to be disciplined, practice swords with a renowned teacher and even he was barely engaged to someone he didn't know, his father was very fond of if it strengthened his family connections. Though the Wayne family was one of the influential in this Ranunculus Kingdom. He is basically a greedy man.

Frederick was not an ambitious heir. He does something out of his will and leaves something behind if he is reluctant. Frederick is also not the two-faced type who is in front of the sweet even though behind it is a greedy person. He just likes to talk as it is, although sometimes he says it indirectly aka insinuating.

Frederick's rebellion was slightly overcome after he met a swordsman who was the future King Ranunculus. The man was ten years older than him, but he could always talk to the unruly Frederick. Only Lraight could understand him, that was Frederick's thought.

"Ah, are you in time?" The man guessed.

Frederick was annoyed, but tried not to pester him because running away was the main thing. It did not matter if when he came home he was scolded by his father, the important thing is that Frederick had passed his good times by the road to the city.

"Why follow?!"

Frederick turned to the young man with a million smiles. Since the wall, Frederick felt that the man was following him. He becomes suspicious that the man is his soldier or someone who will take him back to Wayne's residence before he has a chance to have fun.

"I'm not gonna do that, anyway." The man said casually, shrugging both his shoulders indifferently.

Frederick was surprised, "Can you read my mind?"

"It's all written on your face. Anyway you don't worry. I am just a traveler who travels around the world without a clear purpose. People like me have no connection to your world of nobles."

Frederick just ber'oh ria. He walked back towards the center of the city, he already did not care about the man who was following him. Maybe he was going downtown.

"The sword..."

"Hm?"

"What's that made of?" Ask Frederick.

"Make of what? Uhm... thorny plants?"

"What the fuck is that? Ask back." Said Frederick with a stark face. "Anyway there is a sword made of thorny plants."

The man laughed again. This sword does not really exist. This sword only appeared when someone left thousands of blue and black roses and placed them on him.

"But it's black." Cursed Frederick, he stepped his legs wider intending to leave the man behind him.

"Black..."

The man stared at Frederick's small back which started to drift away. His legs were heavy to continue his steps. His expression darkened, his chest felt tight. The man had already lost a lot of things during this damned journey.

"Lyez..."

...❀...

"Eh? Why am I walking to a place like this?"

When busy kicking pebbles while walking. Frederick realized that he was in the middle of the forest. Since it was still early in the morning, so he could still find the morning light piercing through the darkness of this forest.

"Hopefully there are no bandits or other bad guys." Frederick grumbled in annoyance.

He took a step back, as he had taken when he was coming here. It was frustrating for him to get lost and not know if there was anyone he could ask for help or at least a clue to get out of the forest.

CRESTING

Ugh... don't - don't there be anyone but me here? If he's good I'm grateful, if he's bad...

Frederick stared cynically at the group of people in their black clothes. Frederick gripped his sword. Prepare to do self-defense. Because from the outside only people - people dressed in black that looks very annoying and terrible. The point is, they want something from Frederick.

Frederick increasingly cursed in his heart because the clothes he was wearing were still like a noble, let alone a symbol on his chest. Goody! This way people will be more and more eyeing him.

Ah. This is why I hate nobles. They have a myriad of conflicts arising either from their attitude or status. Damn it, where I'm always lazy - lazy at sword practice. What a shame my fate.

The thick-bodied people in black clothes began to form a formation, they surrounded Frederick so that he could not escape easily.

It's a 1-on-6 fight and they still show that proud face? The coward! How dare to play a joke, same little boy again. Criminals like this are definitely at the lowest level.

"Well! Look what's in here. 1 against 6? So cheated. That solo kid again."

This sound?!

Frederick and the black-clothed men looked up to find the source of the voice. They found a man in a black robe who was perched on a tree branch while smiling cynically. I don't know, Frederick would probably thank him if he was saved this time. To hell with a man's self-esteem, all he wants is to live.

'Save me from this dog*n'

Frederick opened his mouth and said something without a sound. The man could instantly catch what he wanted to say. He widened his smile even more as those black-clothed people were already holding various kinds of weapons in their hands.

"10 seconds." Said the man arrogantly. "Give me ten seconds to beat you guys."

Furthermore, Frederick could not see what - what because of the thick smoke that billowed as a result of the fight. After ten seconds later, just like the man said he managed to defeat all of them. The smoke had already started to thin as the fight had finished. Frederick had a chance to squeal because he saw six people who tried to harm him had been suffocated on the ground.

The man looked fine and unharmed. His sword looked untouched, it seemed like the man was having a physical fight with them while they were using weapons. Plus those 10 seconds, wasn't this guy a monster?

Regardless of whether or not people fight. But the weapons they carried were all sharp and it was difficult to dodge sharp object attacks while delivering punches or kicks to them.

"I didn't kill them, they just fainted. Wake up soon."

The man's voice again greeted Frederick's hearing. His face that was not dull due to the dust-filled fight made Frederick feel envious. This guy has everything and he's almost perfect. Frederick was sure that this man would grab the attention of many girls with all his merits.

"Can you teach me swordplay and physical combat? Your ability amazes me." Frederick said in a whisper, he was actually lazy to praise the man. But on the other hand Frederick needed that man-like ability.

"Can."

Frederick smiled happily as the man nodded his head. "Thank you so much for accepting me as a student..."

"My name is Zavius."

"All right, Master Zavius." Frederick smiled faintly.

Strange yes, who read a lot but who like a little. Even the comments are almost non-existent, hadeuh...
