The Antagonist: The World Ends Theory

The Antagonist: The World Ends Theory
Chapter 131 - A Light in Despair

Still in a fierce fight between Meiger and Hendrick. Ignoring the dark, gripping blanket. No sounds of insects were heard. There are only swords clashing against each other.

Hendrick repeatedly cursed in his heart. Felt that his sword skills were too lame to match Meiger's. The proof, when he had received many incision wounds, his attack had not touched Meiger one.

The golden sword that Meiger had been holding for a long time changed its color to silver. Perhaps if the more black magic he absorbed, the color would completely turn black.

Meiger suddenly groaned as if in pain. Seeing the opportunity, Hendrick kicked his stomach hard until Meiger bounced far enough away.

Hendrick rubbed the corner of his lip that had a bruise. While Meiger at the end there was even bowed in. Clutching his chest while continuing to moan in pain. His golden sword began to darken.

Meiger's movements are pretty weird. Now he was holding his head in frustration. A second after he closed his eyes, strangely the iris of his eyes gave rise to a pattern. Half his hair is now golden as he acted as Crater de'Lavoisier.

"I don't want this..." Sluggishly.

Hendrick's increasingly convinced that there's something wrong with Meiger's ringing now. He looked chaotic with an easily unsteady mentality. Did something control his head? The answer is only one, black magic.

"He really had swallowed a black magic grudge. Like the King of Freesia who lost control of him."

Hendrick frowned. There are some things he needs to do. Now he's lost a lot of things, including his father and maybe Clara is on the verge of death. And the cause is the main mastermind spreading black magic in the past.

"Kill me..."

Hendrick was stunned to see the increasingly chaotic Meiger. His expression showed unbearable profound pain, plus his completely changed physical appearance.

"Why should I? You're an Emperor." Hendrick.

"Despite that, I don't want to be swallowed by black magic and end up darkening the world! And so, quickly kill me!"

Meiger bit her lower lip until it bled. It was very difficult to control a large amount of black magic even though he was not even the owner. Only Ivory can do that. Even his reincarnation was not necessarily capable.

Hendrick clasped his sword firmly, but it was undeniable that his hand trembled violently. Beheading an emperor, he had never done so even once. It's a record for himself.

Hendrick's move was stung - seok due to getting many injuries Meiger attack. His movements became obstructed, coupled with the sword he carried quite heavy.

"Hurry up, I'm reaching my limit..."

There was another groan from Meiger, but Hendrick really could not speed up again. His leg was also still sore from kicking Meiger with all his might.

Hid. At a time like this why am I even disabled?

"Haha!"

Meiger bowed again, suddenly he laughed loosely like a person whose head had been hit by a rock hard. Although the situation deteriorated and the black magic that existed increasingly covered the Meiger. Hendrick did not reduce the speed of his steps to approach Meiger, he had to kill him.

Hendrick was stunned to see Meiger who had held his sword so tightly again. His laughter remained thunderous in the air, he was already insane right.

Meiger stood upright, pointing his sword at the spot where Hendrick was standing. An evil grin appeared on his lips, slowly he stepped closer to Hendrick as he continued to stick out his sword.

Goddamnit!

Getting closer to Hendrick's position, Hendrick unknowingly stopped his steps and also raised his sword parallel to his body. Prepare to fend off Meiger's rapid attack.

However, within a second he caught the silhouette of a woman who ran forward of him as a shield.

STAB CRUSH'S!

Blood splattered across Hendrick's face, neither from him nor Meiger. But the girl who became his shield. His silk-like white mane had been exposed to such a dense color of blood.

Once again, Meiger's golden sword pierced through Clara's body making the previous wound widen. Hendrick was silent, his hands were squeezed and he dropped his sword just like that.

TRANGS!

"I will take you home, Crater de'Lavoisier..." Whisper Clara.

"Huh?"

Meiger. His body seemed to freeze and more and more black magic surrounded him and Clara. Just the two of them, while Hendrick squinted his eyes because of black magic as if exploding in front of his eyes.

In an instant, black magic seemed to vanish from his sight along with the figures of Clara and Meiger. Hendrick kept trying to find his second figure, he swept a glance around. But nil, there is only himself and a collection of corpses scattered here.

"Claras...?"

Hendrick narrowed his eyes as a bright light arrived - suddenly breaking through this dark sky. A speck of bright light then widened in all directions. The color of the sky that looks will be eternal darkness, began to disappear replaced by orange light.

Time has passed so fast. The war that began after the sun sank ended at the end of the day. The whole dark scene has changed.

The surrounding greenish plants are also soft clouds that accompany the twilight sky. Hendrick looked back around him, now his eyes could see more clearly everything.

"The sky I miss."

BRACKET

Hendrick's body drifted down hard. Everything that happened all day made him very tired. All he wanted to do now was rest.

When Hendrick closed his eyes. He hears Rovers and Vester calling his name.

Huft.

...****...

"James!"

Valentina quickly hugged James who was still standing pensively staring at the horizon. The sky that had regained its color was the most beautiful, making many people who had lost this sky for quite some time. Now he looked at her full of admiration and gratitude.

"Valentina?"

James hugged his cousin. Behind Valentina was Edmond who walked slowly. His clothes were already filled with blood like James. Valentina's hair is chaotic because she hasn't washed her hair all day.

Next to James was also Vester who was staring at his palm. The blood that soiled his hand belonged to the girl. This was a bit disturbing, because he had not been healed yet but Clara instead ran towards the place of the fight Meiger and Hendrick.

Count Cheltics and King Ranunculus stood not far from them all. Both of them looked at the night sky that had ended. And now, that beautiful night full of stars will return to the Herbras Continent.

...****...

"Look, the sky is light again. I just realized that we're having a full-day war."

The roar looked at the twilight sky again. King Agapanthus who had been awakened could only look at him in silence, without being able to comment on the beauty of God's creation.

George, who was sitting next to the roar, leaned against the trunk of the tree. This beauty seemed to turn off the terrible scenery in front of them which was only filled by the bubbling corpses and bloodstains.

Looking up is the only way to get rid of a bad view as far as the eye can see. The trees were uprooted or still standing upright, the ground was split so deep and also many ruins that had appeared very clear by now.

"I wonder how Clara is doing now." George Mumbled.

George's murmur was heard by the Role. But the man took long enough to respond. His eyes had been blinded by the charm of the vast orange sky.

Before long, the angel pulled the corner of his lips.

"Well, I can't expect too much now on her..."

George glanced at the Raven.

Then he raised his palm. The hand he used to hug Clara while they were in Freesia. George wouldn't have reached this stage if Clara had never barged into his life.

"Why is my mind the same as yours, well...?" George chuckled, implied a bit of heartache in his laughter.

...****...

Deep in the Agapanthus region, Hellen was also staring at the twilight sky. He was outside the palace because there was an earthquake that almost destroyed the palace building. Nimbly Hellen came out from there with the remaining servants and soldiers.

"It's all over, isn't it? Thank goodness."

Hellen's expression seemed to soften. His two hands faithfully cupped Clara's sapphire gem necklace.

...****...

Grein looked at his face on the surface of the tea water. Just a little, his face displayed a grinning smile. This was the best end that could be done by him and Clara. This was the end he had wanted for a long time with Meiger before the repetition of time.

"Stupid."

Her memories were thrown back at the time when Clara was still in the dream world with her. The strong words of Clara made her unable to dwell and all of Clara's wishes have now been achieved.

"Now it's just a matter of sending Mirye a message."
