Not Just a Dream

Not Just a Dream
Disconnecting

The news of the decline of Bagas company has spread throughout the entire country. One of the very large companies is now left in ruins, even Bagas is only able to retain a few employees, even with the sincerity of their hearts who are ready to receive a smaller fee.

A full day Bagas shut himself in the room. He kept staring at the window and massaging his temple, his mind was deadlocked to make him not want to meet anyone.

Several times the knock on the door echoed, making Bagas forced to open it.

Bagas stood right in front of his mother, his face gloomy, not even a hint of passion to do something.

"Mama already knows everything" said the mother gave a warm hug to her son.

"I'm sorry, Ma. I should have been more thorough, I was useless, I was unreliable." Bagas felt guilty for disappointing his mother.

Shhsttt

Mama stroked Bagas' wide back gently, calming Bagas who was very messed up.

"Rezeki is set, you do not have to blame yourself, maybe this time it is not your sustenance, all there is time, keep the spirit of sure you can get through all this."

Mama dribbled Bagas towards the dining table, almost all day Bagas stomach was empty, no food could enter his mouth considering the problem faced was very heavy.

"Where about Jerry?" ask Mom on the sidelines to eat.

Bagas put down his spoon after swallowing his food and then sipped some drinking water.

"Yesterday I told him to leave, but he didn't want to, he said he wanted to keep working with me."

Mama smiled and then fed Bagas.

"So uncle called, today he wants to come here," said Mama.

Smile expands from the corner of Bagas' lips. Didn't expect there to be a surprise behind him that was currently slumped.

Bagas continued to eat it and began to remove what had settled in his brain.

Uncle could help me.

Just finishing eating, the main door was wide open, the person who had just been in the chatter had already arrived there.

"Uncle," cried Bagas as he ran to his uncle and aunt and cousin.

Bagas hugged his uncle, then turned to his aunt.

"Chika how are you?" asked Bagas, extending his hand.

"Well, what's your sister?" The nineteen-year-old girl smiled and hugged Bagas tightly.

"Sister is also good, but today was not too good" he continued in an increasingly quiet voice.

Mama also welcomed her brother, almost two years they did not meet, and now is the time to let go of longing.

"How are you, Ti?" ask your aunt Bagas, who has the name Tanti.

"If I'm good, Ma'am, but Bagas __"

"Why?" sergeant uncle patted Bagas on the shoulder.

"Yesterday there was a problem in the office, he said there were some clients who canceled cooperation with his company, so he suffered a big loss, and now forced to remove some employees."

"That's a small matter, uncle can help," the white-haired man replied lightly."

While chatting about the problem, Bagas' phone rang, Melinda's name flashed on the screen.

"From who?"

"Melinda, uncle, I'll go there first."

Bagas left the family room to the front porch of the house.

"Hello Mel, what's wrong?" tanya Bagas initiated the conversation.

"We're meeting in a normal place, there's something I want to talk to you about." Melinda's voice sounded very heavy and serious.

Bagas turned off his phone and entered. Actually for now he is reluctant to come out, but how else, if not obeyed surely Melinda will be angry.

Bagas wore a white t-shirt wrapped in a leather jacket, as well as black jeans with torn knees. Wearing a black hat and matching glasses.

"Be careful, don't speed, '" mama's message before Bagas leaves.

Uncle looked at Bagas' back which started to drift away.

"When did he get married?" asked the uncle while taking a cup of coffee from the tray that the aunt brought.

"Say Melinda asked for another year, Mommy."

Uncle is in full charge of Bagas. As a parent, he was very worried considering the age of Bagas who stepped twenty-seven years, but not married.

After splitting the streets for thirty minutes, Bagas finally arrived at his destination. His favorite cafe and Melinda spent his free time.

Bagas went inside passing several visitors who enjoyed each other's dishes at their respective tables.

Melinda looked down and stirred the latte in front of her.

"What's wrong?" asked Bagas, he sat beside Melinda without taking off his hat and then sipped a warm drink owned by the girlfriend.

During the courtship, the two ate a plate together, even a cup of coffee both of which made everyone envious.

Melinda was still silent, her glazed eyes started to stare at Bagas face fixedly.

"What's wrong?" bagas asked began to guess, his chest began to rumble when he saw Melinda who was no less chaotic than him.

Actually I love you so much, but because of this problem we can't be together.

"We broke up" said Melinda softly, but so pierced into Bagas' heart that the man collapsed.

Bagas rounded his eyes and shook his head, he could not believe what he had just heard.

The relationship that intertwined three years without obstacles, suddenly Melinda said the word break up for no apparent reason.

"What do you mean?" tanya Bagas enthusiastically.

"It seems like our relationship can't continue anymore, I not only need affection and love, but I need material things. Now you can't give me that."

Bagas pointed his lips, he was very understanding with the intention of Melinda, all this time he did treat Melinda like a princess, whatever she asked for sure he granted. Bagas also never protested with the girl even though sometimes her requests were beyond reason.

"Is this because my company is bankrupt?"

Melinda looked down again, from the bottom of her heart, she was still affectionate and in love with Bagas, but her career as a model also needed support, and Bagas' current position was not possible to support her.

"I'm sorry, you should know my position."

Although Bagas' heart was deeply broken, he still tried to calm down and fold both his hands, as a man, he did not want to look low begging on women.

"No need to apologize, I thought you would love me in both joy and sorrow, but I was wrong, you just love my treasure."

"Didn't that?" Melinda shook her head and grabbed Bagas' hand, but quickly the man brushed her aside and pushed his chair violently and then kicked the table.

All the visitors turned to look at the fiery face of Bagas with both hands clenched.

"I'm disappointed in you, but it's okay, now I know that you're not worth fighting for."

Bagas left the place, he did not heed the voice of Melinda who kept calling her name.

Bagas immediately entered the car and sat in front of the steering wheel, he continued to hit the steering wheel with teeth tightening each other, holding back the anger that had already erupted in the crown.

I thought you were serious and different from the women out there, but I was wrong, you were nothing but a matre girl looking at the material.

Bagas returned to drive his car at medium speed, although the situation was getting chaotic, he still prioritized safety. Bagas came to a lake to vent his anger.
