Hahaha
The sound of laughter filled one of the rooms on the second floor. The clock showed at four in the afternoon. It means the whole time the officers come home. However, there was a strange incident that made some employees pause his return.
Twenty-two-year-old Renata Nicholas, who works as a cleaning service, was caught hiding a photo of Bagas Ankara, CEO at his place of work. Starting from a fad of storing photos found in the warehouse, now even make it a mockery for those who already hate it.
All over Renata's body trembled with fear, his chest tightened several times he had to supply oxygen to breathe. The cold room was suddenly hot as burlesque graced his ears.
"Had an innocent prayer, secretly fancied the boss," said employee named Fina with a cynical tone. He held up a picture of Bagas right in front of the other co-workers. Shaming Renata to the point of not giving him a chance to explain.
The timid Renata lowered his head, a clear liquid kept dripping down his cheeks, there was not the slightest courage to defend himself. He was like a trapped rabbit and could not escape the scorn.
"Conscious dong, who are you and who is Mr. Bagas. I'm sure, if Bagas finds out, you'll be fired. You thief," said the others no less.
Renata shook his head, he didn't want that to happen. If he did not get a job, he would be expelled by his aunt and cousin.
"I found it in the barn, I didn't steal, you have to trust me." Renata cupped his hands together, his eyes staring one by one the employees who were in front of him. Begging them to listen to his words.
"You think we just believe it" said Roy, a man who likes Fina.
Finally, Renata chose silence. In their eyes, he was a piece of trash for nothing. As good as he is, it will mean nothing.
I have to tell them what, I'm self-conscious, there's no way I'd dare to like Mr. Bagas.
"disgusting."
The word was like a spear that pierced through the heart. His entire body seemed to be dysfunctional until he did not heed the sounds that echoed.
After all was gone, Renata shed her tears. His heart was broken into pieces. He slumped, bent his knees and buried his face. This is not the first time Renata has been treated that way, but they have gone too far and accused him of what he never did.
"Mother, Father, if you were alive, my life would not be like this" Renata murmured between tears.
The shadow of his dead parents now crossed his brain, despite living with his aunt, he felt a lonely life, because his aunt did not love him even a little.
Not only the love that melted, his ideals to become a painter will now never be achieved. Renata can only dream without end.
"When this will all end." Renata wiped the rest of her tears, her hands slowly stretched out, picking up some of the contents of her bag that Fina had shed.
After his state calmed down a little, Renata got up, tidied up her appearance and walked out of the room.
His eyes swept through the hallway, there were only a few people still there, they were staring at Renata with strange, though ungodly, looks from his perspective showing hatred towards him.
It makes no difference upstairs, downstairs Renata is the center of attention of the office dwellers, he is like a passing clown to make them keep laughing at him.
"Dream first, Re. You can just like Mr. Bagas," said Rani accompanied by a mocking laugh.
Let's just say it's the sound of birds chirping, Re.
Finally Renata strengthened his own heart not to be provoked by their speech.
"Mother Renata is coming home yet?" ask the guard who is awake.
"Yes, Sir. Thank you for keeping my bike" Renata said politely.
The guard was just bowing friendly. Although everyone hated him, not for the security guard who had received help from Renata when his son was sick.
Poor Mr. Renata, he continues to be the moons of all the officers here. But he is good.
Upon arrival at the end of the road, Renata stops his motorbike at a painting supply store, as usual he buys depleted materials.
Renata got off the bike, his smile expanding as he looked at someone he admired, and he couldn't even take his eyes off when he saw that person walking towards him.
"Mas Derya," said Renata.
The man named Derya stopped his steps, again staring at Renata's appearance from top to bottom.
There was nothing strange about Renata's appearance, but Derya was reluctant to approach him, so she remained standing two meters away from Renata.
"What did Derya buy?" ask Renata.
Derya didn't care, she opened her car door and got in and out of the parking lot.
How long will everyone ignore me like this?
After buying the equipment he was looking for, Renata immediately went home, he did not want to stop by again because the time was too narrow.
Arriving in front of Renata's house immediately ran in. The twilight spray was already clearly visible, it meant that the task that aunt had scheduled him.
Renata throws the bag from the door of her room and the kitchen.
"What cooking is it, tonight. " Renata unpacked the contents of the refrigerator. Look for food items to cook.
There was only kale and chicken, it had to be what he cooked.
"Where have you been, why is it so late?" ask the familiar voice from behind.
Renata put down her knife and turned her body, staring at the flat face of her aunt who was pecking at the doorway.
"So I bought painting equipment, Bi," Renata replied fearfully. Several times her aunt ruined the painting she had made, and this time Renata was afraid that she would repeat it again.
"Just look if the salary this month is broad, I will not allow you to stay here again" said the aunt reminded.
Renata just nodded without a sound.
"Mother" a girl shouted from the front. With a swift Renata made a warm tea to welcome the arrival of the girl. Karin is Renata's cousin, her only aunt's daughter.
"You just got home, son. Aunt approached her daughter who was sitting in the living room.
"Yes, today was very tired, Mom," lamented Karin stroked the nape of her neck.
Karin's job is more established. Although the girl is only a high school graduate, Karin can work in a factory that is quite high paid, while Renata must accept her fate as a cleaning service, because his appearance and his mediocre face made it difficult to get a job.
"This is the tea brother." Renata offered a cup of warm tea in front of Karin.
Just as Karin took a sip, she regurgitated it.
"Why, Son?" ask Auntie curious.
Not answering, Karin moved and poured the remaining tea right on Renata's head which made the girl jump in shock.
