Not Just a Dream

Not Just a Dream
Opinion Bagas

Jerry came out of his room wearing a fairly formal shirt. If he met Bagas, his brain immediately ran into a job that might be endless. He stared at the empty sofa and then the door was closed tightly, although his lips were silent, Bagas could read what the contents of his secretary's brain were at this time.

"Andara is home" said Bagas without question.

Jerry sat on the sofa opposite the table, he linked his hands together and began to focus on the arrival of Bagas at a very foreign time.

"What do you need to do here?" jerry asked as he opened the laptop on the desk.

"It's not about work."

Jerry was stunned, closed his laptop back and stared fixedly at Bagas' face. A little in disbelief, but he believes his hearing is still normal.

"Then?"

Hew

Bagas let out a long sigh and exhaled slowly, he synchronized his brain and heart with the problem he was facing. Loosen his tie and lean his back. Tired of covering his face, after from Bu Nurmala's house, Bagas went straight to Jerry's apartment with a disappointed heart because of Renata's rejection.

"Mama set me up with Renata" he said quietly, but still could be heard clearly by Jerry.

"But after I said I agreed, Renata refused. What do you think makes it that way?" tanya Bagas seriously.

"Did she also consider my wealth like Melinda?"

Jerry smiled, he did not answer and instead moved towards the refrigerator, taking two canned drinks from there.

Jerry opens for Bagas.

"Not that, but maybe because of his past."

Bagas furrowed his brows, puzzled by Jerry's indistinct remarks.

Silent, the two looked at each other. Bagas grabbed his drink and sipped it. Trying to understand Jerry's point.

"Renata was just an ordinary girl, there was no way she would see treasures. He used to be a bully in the office. Maybe that's one of the triggers she avoids that matchmaking."

Jerry opened his laptop and typed. After that it exposes its screen in front of Bagas.

"Look! Everyday he was tortured. No one cared about him, not even the last one before he left the office, I heard he was accused of keeping a photo, Mr."

Some sadistic videos of the employees on Renata were recorded neatly. Some Jerry can be from cctv and some deliberately recorded their prank.

"You know where it came from?" ask Bagas while continuing to rotate some pictures.

"Today I found out from some people who weren't involved."

Bagas looked back at Jerry with an increasingly probing gaze, "but why did he feel at home working in the office?"

"Money. Maybe because he needs money."

Bagas zoomed in on his image and stared intensely at Renata's face.

"It turns out he used to be so ugly," he sneered a small laugh.

Jerry chuckles.

"But now it's beautiful, right sir. He is also talented," continued Jerry who was indeed the remark held in Bagas' heart.

"Then what should I do now?"

Bagas returned to the subject.

"Show everyone that you really love them. That way, surely he will believe in the seriousness of the Father. After all, she was a kind and innocent type of woman, unlike today's women who wanted so much."

"Like you," said Bagas who made Jerry's lips locked.

Jerry tried to divert the conversation. He no longer wants to talk about the woman who hurt his heart.

"Tomorrow, I'll propose to him in front of all the employees. So that they would not dare to mess with him again," Bagas was increasingly convinced by his decision.

Now there is no doubt that shackles in Bagas' heart after hearing Jerry's explanation. Although both are unmarried, Jerry is more experienced about women than he is.

Jerry lifted his thumb in agreement, whatever Bagas did, while it was positive he would definitely support.

Bagas smiled widely. Some plans have already begun to surround his brain. He does not want to fail again and does not want to long for a relationship without official ties with Renata.

Bagas grabbed his phone that was ringing.

"Melinda" he said with his hands on the green badge.

"Don't pick it up, sir," stop Jerry from grabbing Bagas' phone and putting it on the table.

"Why?" tanya Bagas enthusiastically.

He was confused by Jerry who continued to act strangely.

"Remember, Sir! Women not only need certainty up front, but also need loyalty, honesty. Trust that has been built solidly will be destroyed with just one mistake. Moreover, you're just about to start, and I don't want Melinda to destroy everything."

The ringing of the cell phone stopped, Bagas permeated every word that slid from Jerry's sensible lips.

"But what if something happens to him. It's late, if it doesn't matter, maybe she'll call me?"

"If you're still worried about other women, don't ask Renata. Pity he is only a material escape, all this time his life has been full of catu, both from others and his family, what father will give him hurt again and make him suffer more."

Jerry's words were very wise, he knew if the man in front of him was more mature. His life without the affection of both parents made him more independent and could read the situation around him.

Bagas phone again rang, now not the name Melinda, but the name of a chatty aunt who flashes on the screen.

"Who?" asked Jerry curiously.

"How much is my aunt?" tukas Bagas cynical.

"One, aunt Nurmala."

Bagas receives his phone call, but keeps the flat object away from his ear, fearing that Bu Nurmala's voice paralyzes his hearing.

"What's up, Auntie?" Bagas initiated the conversation.

"Bagas, where are you?"

Not according to his expectations, which will scream and various scuffles and scolding. The voice that was across from there sounded shrill and anxious.

"In Jerry's apartment. What's wrong with her?" bu Nurmala asked, her voice sounding increasingly panicked and fearful.

"The senses are sick, the body is very hot, you come quickly!" Bu Nurmala sounded sighing.

"Well, Auntie," replied Bagas, putting his phone in his pants pocket and moving. Without a word, he got straight out of Jerry's place by attaching his suit on his shoulder.

"Boyou want to be ushered in?" jerry shouted following Bagas towards the elevator.

"No need, you're driving catapult," his taunt ran small.

Jerry turned his lips to look at the back of Bagas who disappeared from behind the elevator door.

Jerry came back in and remembered Andara. However, he immediately brushed it off and did not want to dissolve his personal problems.

"What pain points? It seems like Mr. Bagas is starting to pay attention to him. I should be able to make her forget Melinda. He'll just ruin Bagas' life like Derya's."

The streets are still very crowded, Bagas tried to calm down and focus on splitting the vehicles that passed by in the darkness. After a few minutes, he again contacted Bu Nurmala and confirmed the condition of Renata.
