“Can you read?”

Escal asked who suddenly remembered that Liliane had previously been just a child who had nothing so he thought that Liliane was uneducated.

“No Sir, I only know a few letters and cannot read.” yet Liliane replied as she continued to wash the dirty dishes.

Escal was at the dinner table right now after he and Liliane had dinner.

Escal was thinking about his plan before executing the Mission he took. But if Liliane could not read, it would be difficult if she sent him a message at any time.

Even if not in use for now, the ability to read can also be useful in the future.

Escal pulled out a book from his storage which he had picked up a moment ago in his room because it was already available. He started writing down his agenda to teach Liliane for a while in these three days.

Escal was about to go there to sell the items he got from some of the Monsters he defeated. Also buy equipment that he will later use when going on missions.

“I don't want to take big risks for now,” Escal holds his chin, thinks something.
