Eps. 02 - Abandoned Villages
In a place that was not connected to Space and Time, a long and handsome old red-haired man, was looking at the many hologram screens in front of him that displayed many people in various places.
But his focus was currently shifting on the screen that featured Escal's figure, and smiling faintly as he refuted his head with a right-handed pedestal on the throne he was sitting on.

Escal raised his right eyebrow, the notification he received from the system after coming out of the forest was really not as bad as he had expected. He even got a title that can be said to be quite useful.

A little stunned, Escal then closed the screen. Then set his feet away towards the village which from a distance was already visible to him.
“Whatever, that origin benefits me even if it harms other parties.”
Upon his arrival at the village gate, Escal scanned the surroundings. I don't know why he felt there was something strange about the village. There were no guards, no passersby, and it was so quiet.
Ignoring that, Escal started to enter the Village and sure enough, there was no one there. The well-maintained houses looked empty, there was not a single person there. Animals and livestock were nowhere to be seen.
“What's with this Village?” Escal swept around, then a system screen appeared in front of him with a notification.

Escal raised one eyebrow in surprise, inwardly he also sneered at the less alert System. He had already entered the Village a moment ago, but his notification was only now.
Looking down at one of the biggest and nicest house buildings in the village, Escal closed the screen and went towards the house.
“After all this has been left behind, I also have to think of a way to live alone.” Opening the door and stepping his foot inside, many quite precious objects entered Escal's view.
But the size of the objects was quite large, there was no way he could carry them freely. But after looking around, the house was still quite clean even though there was a little dust.
He also concluded, the villagers went in a hurry and brought things they could carry. Escal also thought, farm animals like cows and goats could be their mount to go. But what is the reason?

After saying that, Escal started to search several places in the house. It was quite good that he could find a treasure room in the house, as it seemed like the owner of the house was the richest person in the Village.

A large wooden box that was quite old in the treasure room, was still locked so Escal guessed that the owner of the place must not have had time to bring the items in the box when he left.
Escal approached the wooden box, and touched it. It is still strong, and also quite strong. But of course, he had a way to open the wood in another way since it was impossible to rely on his physical strength.
Taking a few steps away from the wooden box, Escal pointed one hand at the wooden box with the situation in the tenuous right.
Without saying anything, a magic circle with an ancient language formed in front of his hand. Bluish in color and feeling cold, the circle slightly shone and appeared a sharp Ice that shot straight towards the box firmly.

The System notification screen suddenly appeared in front of him, seeing him faintly smiling Escal.
“Good too, it's like a game I haven't played in a long time.”
Closing the screen, Escal walked up to the wooden box that was already open and was surprised to see what was inside. He carved a satisfied smile.
